I don’t know if this is an old soul I’ve met in years past, but every once in awhile, there is/are turtles walking the trail(s) where they come across long legged creatures like myself. Wonder what they think of us. Check out this critters back claws.

And stay away from their front (and the neck will stretch out enough so they can reach their tail). They are very capable of taking off a finger or toe.
I know. Dan (the hiker) who took the picture said he walked around the turtle, it was not going to move out of his way.. he said the look he got, was enough,, waves good morning..
