PL Calendar day 28 Don’t Blame Others
It is easy to place the blame on others and society for the problems you encounter in life. But you are the one with the power to change the outcome.

Good Morning, Bom dia!
The day is young and really not decided on what it is going to do. The forecast says rain and lots of it. In our area, there has been a lot of flooding already, this newest bit of rain could be a real disaster for many at risk communities. My prayers go out to all of you at this time.
Across the river on the Quebec side, the military has been brought in to help with the filling of sandbags and volunteers from all around are coming around donating their time. It is in such times that we see how community pulls together despite any differences at other times. Oyashikiri.
What you see above is my trying out a new product, seeing what it can do with a variety of molds or embossing/texture plates. The product used (coloured) is by Finnabair, called Icing paste (Prima marketing), It is through trial and error that I will find how it will work with my particular style of “working”. The challenge and opportunity of discovery. I love it.
PL calendar day 26 Put your whole heart into whatever you do, no matter when or where you are.
Don’t try to cut corners or be careless about things. Be fully responsible, completing whatever you set out to do.

Thursday doors, how much I have missed being able to participate in this series. My hankering for a door brought me to my desk to look through my photos

An open doorway to another time and place? A place tended and serene.

A romantic hide-a-way where one can laze the day away. In this one, fall is in the air, and the weather holds that rustic charm of warm colours and textured wood grains.
To so many of us, who chase the many varied and interesting doors, and doorways. They are passages to hidden or unknown “adventure” There is always a story to be found when one enters through a new door.
Garden gates are another temptation. How many of us have had wonderful conversation in a nursery or greenspace over the admiration of floral and fauna.
We need only look around at all the different ways we use and display doorways, archways, gateways. They are the subject of stories, and many are the central focus in a photo-story. To the door chaser, they are a work of art, not in themselves, but their presentation.
I know that spring is outside t.he door, but my mood this morning appears to be mellow. I am drawn to fall colours, and the charm I’ve found in my library of photos that I have collected.
Two doorways, two very different responses.
When we wake up in the morning, we get to decide which will be the doorway we will use to begin the day.
The choice is ours.
PL calendar, day 25
Pay Careful attention without overly straining yourself or taking things too lightly.
Having the right amount of tension in your life allows you to notice many things, and that will help you to better express yourself.

Last few days of tranquility, soon there will be outdoor activity with the smell of the fresh new growth, sunlight warm on bare arms and winter pale legs. When friends post the sights and wonders of their backyards, and places that they can wander and enjoy, it brings me such a joy, such shared happiness. Friends are what makes our day-to-day so magical. Each one is like a jewel, with its very own facets and brilliance. Unlike an object, friends are priceless.
I know I keep repeating how much I appreciate and love you all, can’t help it. You all bring such richness into my life that I am at a loss to explain why I have been so blessed.
Blessed I am.
Day 22 of the PL Calendar
Appreciate the strengths as well as the shortcomings in others Even though you may not agree with someone, complaining about it doesnt’ help. remember, “We are all human,” and accept each person for who they are.

PL calendar day 21
Let’s be thankful for everything we have right now.
Now is an accumulation of every moment leading up to it, and everything that continues to progress and develop to become NOW. Be thankful for everything.

Bom dia, good morning..
The 21st is drawing near. There is a long week-end coming up. For those of you celebrating Easter, enjoy your time with family and friends. It is a special week-end. In PL we celebrate Thanksgiving on the 21st.
The Thanksgiving service is the 21st of each month. It is the most important service of the month. This Sunday will be a very positive and prayer filled day. Our church here in Ottawa will hold service at 10 a.m. and again at 7 pm. All are welcome.

What goes around, comes around.... over the years, at one time or another, we have heard this little phrase .. usually it is said and then forgotten. The Universe is infinite, we never know when, or where, but the time will come when there is “pay back”
PL calendar day 17
Have clear goals and take appropriate actions.
Always begin with a clear idea of what your goals are. Once you have pinpointed the target for your actions, things will move forward much more smoothly.
With the nicer weather, more and more people are spending time outdoors getting reacquainted with the local parks and trails. Doing inventory in the garden, what is preparing to reappear, what has been lost or not doing so well. Each day truly is a new beginning.

PL calendar day 15
Live with firm determination, that “this will turn out for the best” Everything in this world progresses and develops. Always be positive, knowing that everything will turn out for the best
Someone once asked me did I ever get tired of being a “Pollyanna” for those of you unfamiliar with that expression, it usually was used to describe someone who was always cheerful and looking for positives. I like being happy, and I work towards that goal. I sometimes miss the mark by a long mile and another times it takes only a smile to bring my happy back.
That does not mean that I don’t feel disappointment, and at times, totally sad and have no choice but to live through my emotion of that moment. It passes, meanwhile, my body, my mind needed that cleansing. PL Precept #5 One’s self is lost by being emotional Live the moment and move on.
PL Precept #1 Life is Art
PL Precept #7 Everything exists in relativity
PL Principle #2 I will not have complaints about others, matters nor the weather. Rather I will always be creative and will look for shortcomings in my own thinking and actions.
My love and appreciation to you all.

PL Precept #10 Love yourself and others

My thanks to a dear and wonderful friend, who was out with his camera and came across these new blooms. Spring blossoms are so welcoming, so darn full of determination .. their crisp green and vibrant yellows peeking out after one of Nature’s last snow flings.
Good Morning, Bom Dia!!
PL calendar day 14
Being considerate of others is just as important as what works for you
Always be mindful of the situation of others, not just your own. To have a good relationship with those around you, always think of what is important to them too.

Good morning, Bom Dia – Saturday
Making your way through the maze of details that need attending after an accident of a vehicle.
Insurance, claims, adjusters, customer service, sales, research collecting data, processing data, yada yada yada.
It is not a disaster, it is an opportunity for me to review my performance abilities, and use my creativity to unravel and get through the experience, one step at a time. Most important is that I do my best to meditate on what I can do differently, or what I need to work harder on to improve my skills/tools so that it doesn’t happen again.
PL calendar – day 6
Past, present, or future, always remember to be sincere and honest (to one’s self)
At any time, the place where you are standing at that moment is the stage upon which you must express yourself. at each moment in time, there is sure to be a way to express yourself in relation to your position or status.
