The Canada Geese are back… their loud bark could be heard from the road as I drove up to Mud Lake I heard them bickering and calling out to each other.

For those of you who know this conservation area, you know how congested it can get (with humans) today it wasn’t too bad.. it was a beautiful day, the humans were spaced out, except for a couple that were watching an owl sleep, it was mostly walk by, nod, and keep going … at the bridge tho’ I met a fellow visitor who had some seed in his hand…
The birds seemed to know he was “carrying”… two of them a male and female actually stalked us, so they could get to him.. then they boldly stood and waited for him to “perform”.. I’d swear they were demanding a toll for crossing the bridge. LOL knowing they can deliver a mean bite, I stood very still while they assessed me and then moved along.
It is mating season, believe me you have never heard a demanding aggressive bird until you hear a Canada Goose defending its turf. They race across the ice, necks extended and give off the most abusive sound. I was glad I was an observer and far from the angry male …

It was with reluctance that I left the area … there was just so much to see… the balmy weather was intoxicating – the forecast is for colder weather .. and snow later.. The birds have settled in.. another trip once the ice is gone will bring a totally different feel, and different birds.
A cheerful smile and expression makes everyone around you happy. When you do everything with a smile, not only you but the people around you will feel good. Always remember to put on a happy face.

Sunday Service at 10: a.m. bring your smile!

Everyday I wander the woodlands, sometimes I journey further than others, mostly I get out and enjoy the day no matter the weather … One of my blessings is meeting new friends, Fiel is such a friend, I would see him taking his family for their daily walk along a long stretch of country road where he can explore and enjoy stretching his legs and taking in the weather… like me.. he just loves being outdoors.
What I discovered, is he had an eye problem pressure in his eye that medical treatments just couldn’t correct, eventually he had to have one eye removed. Still his spirit was strong, he was positive, he rested, he took his medication, he continued to walk… and now he is a beautiful unique personality that gives as much pleasure as he gets. Life does present us with challenges, our existence would be dull without these opportunities to explore our uniqueness. His heart beats strong, he loves giving kisses, he doesn’t hesitate to embrace his friends with enthusiasm and sincere appreciation he joyfully gives the gift of friendship – unlike humans, he doesn’t overthink a situation, he simply lives in the moment.

Artemis 1: the SLS rolls slowly out of the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) and out to pad 39B at Kennedy Space Centre. Credit: NASA / Artemis-
NASA has rolled out the first of what is intended to be both the first of its new “super rocket”, the Space Launch System, and the vehicle to start the United States and its international partners on the road back to the Moon.
At 21:47 UTC on March 17th, the huge rocket, mounted on its mobile launch platform, slowly crept out of one of the high bays of the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB), the iconic cube sitting within NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre which was used as an integral part of Project Apollo and which is now fulfilling a similar role for Project Artemis, on the back of a massive crawler-transporter at the start of a 6.72 km journey to Kennedy Space Centre’s Lunch Complex…

I actually took a long walk around the bog the other day. It was quiet, the sky was a clear blue, not a cloud in sight. I took my time, treating myself to my own thoughts. Letting my mantra slip in and out, a gentle whisper .. I repeated it.. quietly, letting the sounds carry through the crisp morning air. I encourage others to meditate, make time for themselves.. and I am guilty of not always doing so myself.
Today at a concert, the performer was having a difficult time getting his equipment to function as it should.. sensing his frustration, without saying anything out loud or to anyone, I focused on him and said a silent prayer… He told me later, that he thought he would have to cancel, he’d been trying everything, and then .. bingo.. 2 minutes before air time, he was connected and everything fell into place. (nope never said a word to him… but I know prayer helped..)
I do believe in the power of prayer and positive thinking. I do believe that we are composed of an energy field that wraps itself around us, how we think, feel and act.. affects this energy field. I’ll go even further to say, that music .. which to me, is also “energy” can be a positive influence in our lives.
The bench you see above is at one of the conservation areas I go to. I pass it often. seldom do I take advantage of it.. I prefer instead to walk a little further and sit on one that is further in the woods and often secluded and shielded from the other visitors to the centre.
Are you making time for yourself.? . Are you smiling from within… does the smile on your face, reach and radiate from your eyes?
Here is song to send you into a “dream” space https://music.youtube.com/watch?v=MqgdQnu-Idw&feature=share It is called another Dance in Paris by Dave Renz featuring Larry Marshall
I have always (ok almost always) listened to music with words.. Dave has been introducing me to instrumentals. This is one he wrote for his Dead Drop recordings.
