Spring comes once a year,

it lasts 3 months and then it fades away

Life is an accumulation of efforts, that we make every day

whether it be spring, summer or fall

our lives take place NOW

we accept that the blooms will bless our days

then fade away when their time is over

why is it so difficult to let go of love

that no longer breathes life into your day

Life is precious

you will live through your own personal seasons

enjoy the changes

make them your own

live in the NOW

today while watching the sun melt the ice

I delighted as it crystalized before our eyes

the morning sunlight cast a golden halo

around my furry little friend, as she watched with me

how about some tea, she said

I had to smile she was being such a silly little nilly

is this not what life is all about

new discoveries and sharing with friends

oh, have we met yet? said Mrs. squirrel

to my friend Sal and her little charge baby Pearl

no we haven’t yet, but you are welcome in our world

we love to laugh, share and hug

we truly care about our friends, ,

happiness is the order of the day

I’m all for that said Mrs Squirrel

What are you waiting for, grab a cuppa tea

it is up to us to make this a memorable day

Friends bring the sunshine to our days

handle things that come your way

dishonesty

Can we learn from dishonesty?

When someone is dishonest, and it involves you, are you affected by their dishonesty?

It happens, we forget to listen carefully to what is being said, we allow feelings to get in the way. Or the perceived friendship that we think we are having is really not what we think it is at all. Really I believe that there is a part of us that recognizes the lie we are living, but for the most part, it seems to take a long time to really register.

Is the lie ours for not listening to our inner voice, or to the person who deceived us with their untruths. A conundrum for sure. It takes two people for a relationship to work, and when one is left to try to manage on one’s own, then it is no longer a relationship. I’m not talking of a social friendship, where one supports a friend, and is there for them through thick and thin. I’m talking about a special relationship where two people have agreed to share a common interest/goal or objective. the parameters are spelled out and they progress into the adventure. When one person changes the rules and brings lies into the equation, it isn’t long before the gulf begins to widen.

. Some pathways are well-defined, and we know if we step off we are in for a big fall. We take our time and enjoy the view, but the world around us is not really part of the path, rather our path is traveling through the world around us..

The railings keep us from seeing what is down below, we see only what is within sight of where we are being directed.

Same applies in relationships, no matter how we try, when we are walking through life on a constructed and laid out surface, we don’t go beyond the limits placed on us.

Dishonesty, deceiving, lying, cheating, these are all activities that will come back to haunt you. When we lie or create false truths, we are deviating from nature, from what really is. We not only deceive the other person, we deceive ourselves. Happiness can not last when it is based on lies. In life, we take more winding paths than we do straight roads. We are also responsible for the choices we make.

We may stand physically alone, but we are never alone.Nature, surrounds us and permeates are very being, with all that is real, the Universe is real, God is real. You and I with God, we are ONE.

To lie is a waste of time and energy, to lie and accept living a lie, is not being in Harmony with Nature. My choice, will always be to Love.and live in harmony with life/UNIVERSE

What happened

Happiness is not about luck, it is about how you perceive the world around you. I grew up thinking I was Chinese, then one day discovered that I was part Irish. Go figure on my Mother’s side, Did that change who I was, no, for some reason, I have always just said, when asked, I’m Chinese. Interestingly, come March 17, I want to wear green, and I feel a kinship for all that is Ireland. (Irish)

The PL teaching for the 17th . is “The things that happen in our lives are neither good or bad. It is our perspective that determine whether the outcome is good or unfortunate.”

When I wrote my virtual blog earlier, http://virtualluna.blogspot.ca/ I wrote about weddings, love, partnerships, it took me on a trip down memory lane.

Later in the day I spoke with a special lady who told me of a beautiful relationship she had, and how it had ended when her partner passed away.

Love is such a beautiful emotion, when there is true love, I am a believer that life is and will always hold that love in a very special part of who we are. A good friendship never really dies, it fades away, but the joy of that friendship will live in our hearts for a long time.

I agree, some people are just not meant to be lovers, or married, but at one time they shared a very special bond, and that memory, that experience, will always be part of their chemistry, (makeup).it will form who they are in the present. We all know the expression, “it is better to have loved and lost, then to never have loved at all”.

What happens when we fall in love, and what goes wrong, who really knows. But when the happiness and joy of being together is no longer there, When you no longer can share your heart willingly, then it is time to let go and move on. Love is a blessing, it is a gift, not a chain that binds.

So today, while the leprechaun play, and the fiddler has us dancing, hold out your hand and clasp the friends you care about … recognize and appreciate that this is a day to be happy that they are in you life.

Snow in March

It was a fresh blanket of snow when that greeted me when I opened the door to let the dog out. That magical soft white that sits like powdered sugar on the trees and dusts everything in sight with a crystal blanket of angel dust.The early morning sky still had a soft gray shading that had the world around still in sleep mode. No buses, no cars, just the soothing quiet of an early morning. T’is lovely, and I was tempted, very tempted to step outside and sit in a deck chair to extend the beauty of the moment.

The season’s change, sometimes they simply blend one into the other, and other times, the change can be more dramatic. Life, mirrors the cycles that transpire in Nature . Sometimes we are very much center stage, at other times we are back stage,making it all happen, or in the audience, enjoying watching events unfold.

Wherever the path leads today, I know it will be a great day, why, because it is my choice to have a good day. I will share with friends I meet along the way, and will be blessed by the joy of sharing. Even if it is for a moment or two, when we connect and focus on the moment, we are, in that moment,ONE with God/life/Universe.

I commit this day to be one of growth in every area of my life.

Drudgery ?

Life can become repetitive, yes it can, the same old routine, same people, same tired old jokes, same complaints, and boy are their negatives. It seems that the whole day is spent dealing with the problems of others, or the dissatisfaction(s), you yourself are experiencing.

It is true that often our lives are regulated, or for whatever reason, our days are compartmentalized. We develop routines, we make or are put on a schedule, this leads to deadlines, objectives, goals, and on and on it goes. What we do is monitored, evaluated, assessed and rated.

What we eat, the cars we drive, the clothes we wear, everything it seems comes off some kind of production line, assembly line, processing station, and yet we don’t know or realize that we have let our own lives replicate a mechanical and programmed “lifestyle”

Oophs, what happened here, LOL … a time shift, this was a picture taken for a community post by Nat Fabman in 1954 (Life Magazine) of a Fresno dairy farmer (Arch Badertscher) milking his cows alongside his two farm cats, Blackie and Brownie. A little playfulness in the day, sort of gives a warm fuzzy, and a bit of a smile. The first few pictures, didn’t do much for you did they?

Sometimes, NO, not sometimes, on a regular basis, we have to STOP and get off the treadmill, and get out to explore, and smell the roses(flowers} no one else can do it for us. When we repeatedly do the same things day after day, life gets stale, and we find ourselves in a rut.

Usually the fences and walls we find around us, were man-made (look in the mirror). John Wayne was said to have started his day by saying,”yes, looks likes it is going to be another fine day” no matter what… begin your day in a positive way, and work towards carrying that thought with you throughout the day.

Sometimes we have to decide

which path will lead to our own happiness

we want to please, or accommodate

but know that in doing so

we will chip away at our own sense of Self

and well BEing

I truly believe that

I retain my peace of mind,

and instead of suppressing a sadness/disappointment

I acknowledge it and move on

I can appreciate what was,

but I move in the direction that will nurture my spiritual needs

I want always to be ONE with the Universe/God

To love and feel love in my heart

It can be sad when friendships end,

but if you remember the good in what was

the happiness is always be

we don’t stop caring because a person turns away

love is unconditional

however, we sometimes have to accept

that the other person’s needs

were not something you could provide

you can only love them and pray for their happiness

Wolves

I hope you take a moment to watch the above video clip. This was information that I had not known, and on seeing it and hearing it, I had to pause in my day to reflect on just what it was that this documentary was saying. I’m sure that I will still be thinking about it for some tine to come. I have always had a fascination with wolves, and other wildlife, the same as I feel that we are one with Nature, I believe that any other living being/creature is also part of this world that I inhabit and that we are all connected in one way or another.
