Every morning I visit this tree.. and each morning I see signs it is enjoying the balmy weather and the brighter sunshine, The other morning it was full of chattering birds, The happy chatter filled the air with enthusiasm and brought smiles to everyone around.

BUT, first wild turkeys seen yesterday in the farmer’s field. Yay!
Hello. look what a friend introduced me to! We were talking about conservation areas, our dogs, just catching up … When I was shown a picture of the family dogs, I noticed her backyard was different from what I know to be backyards here where I live. Oh, yes, we are in the “high desert” she said, that is the Garden of the Gods you see in the background. Then she sent me the link to the web page for the Nature Park. Colorado! I have seen pictures in the past taken when other friends have holidayed there… however.. let me tell you… I book marked the page, and I will be going back to look at the stunning vistas again.
How easy it is to forget that there is so much in life to be explore and experienced. I would love to experience actually seeing those beautiful animals myself. Or taking in what looks like crisp dry air. I love my four seasons here in Canada, but that park sure looks like it would be fascinating to explore.
Treasure those fleeting inspirations. The time to seize an opportunity is when you first notice it. Good timing is crucial to working efficiently.

How many times in your lifetime have you heard someone say… “You can’t see the forest for all the trees”.. when I first heard that expression, I went.. “wow” so true… now after years of going into the forest every morning to start my day.. I “see” the forest in a totally different way.. and yes there are a lot of trees, and there are a lot of things I do not actually “see” because every day/night there is something new happening in the woods.
So… I take in what I do see/feel and enjoy it… learn from it… and move on. This IS life, there are things we will experience with no rhyme or reason.. yet IF they present themselves in our “Present/moment of awareness” it is because there is something there for us. the Universe provides. It is in “living” our lives, that we grow and get to learn about the wonders around us.
Tell yourself “Things happen” Even if something is inconvenient, once you accept it you’ll be able to move onto the next step.

Relax and take a moment to breathe
Thank you everyone for your support today, Keeper is back home, Mike (nephew) came with me to pick her up, thank goodness, she had to be carried to the car. The surgery was considered serious, she was heavily drugged. They called me during the procedure to ask me if they could remove two other lumps they found. One on her back, you can see where she was shaved, and one at the base of her ear. So she has two extra incisions, we were not expecting. Her foot due to the many stitches is wrapped with a special bandage that we have to go back in the morning to have removed, and the stitches checked.
Dr. advised that the growth on her foot .. when removed was the size of a small tangerine. No wonder she had so much difficulty with her foot/movements. She is currently resting beside me, she does not want me out of her sight. I’m going to get a little blanket to cover her with. She has to be so tired and relieved to be home
She has to wear the cone for the next 14 days. No strenuous exercise, walks … only light activities, due to the stitching.. because the growth was so large, they had to really pull the skin to close the opening.
I want to thank you all for your caring and concerns. We, Keeper and I appreciate all your prayers and healing energy you have been sending our way.
