Does this “feel” familiar

There are times when even in a crowd, we feel that we are alone. Sometimes t his is good, other times we wish that we could reach out and share the moment with a friend.
Fortunately, a PL member has the opportunity to receive consultation, or simply visit with a minister to share, talk about, a problem,question, or curiosity in our life.

The picture was taken in the virtual world of Second Life. I have found the different worlds I’ve discovered there to be a perfect way to experience the artistic talents of the virtual artist. If you are wanting to explore this build on your own, these are the coordinates.

In PL (Perfect Liberty) we learn to appreciate ALL the different circumstances we find ourselves in. For me the discovery of this nest in the middle of nowhere was comfortable.. I loved the quiet, the calling of the birds overhead, the sound of the water against the rocks that lined the shore.. blue skies.. We have an advantage in SL (Second Life) we have the ability to fly, one can never be lost =^_^=.

When we trust in the divine ONEness of the Universe, we are living in Perfect Liberty and we know that we are never alone, ever.

Always Live with “World Peace” In Your Heart

June already, today is the start of another month, May seems to have gone by so quickly. The PL teaching for June 1 is ” Always Live With “World Peace” In Your Heart. If each one of us sincerely prays for peace on earth, our combined efforts can change the world” During a service, when we read this teaching. the official that is leading us, reads the part that is in bold, and we repeat it. Then the rest is read for us to think and meditate on. Then we all repeat together the main sentence,” Always Live With “World Peace” In Your Heart” . The teachings come in the form of a Perfect Liberty calendar. This calendar consists of 31 pages. We use this calendar all year. A new one comes out at the start of each new year. They are available in English, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish

The teachings of PL focus on everyday daily living to help people be all they can be in this life. I am very fortunate in that I live in a city where there is an actual physical Perfect Liberty Church. That said, you have access to the church, the ministers via the internet (see web site ) http://www.perfectliberty.ca If you live close to any of the churches ( PL is International) you are always welcome to drop in, and/or contact the ministers in person. It is so positive and exhilarating to have such open and effective communications with the ministers.

In June, the heat and humidity can soar in these parts,tempers can flare up, often there is a yearning to get away, to experience a change from the usual day to day. Already at the gym that I attend, I see the decline in members hitting the machines in the early day. It is vacation time, schools will be out soon, and the highways and roads into cottage country are getting busier. Yet home is where I find my greatest sense of “well being” . In following PL teachings on a regular basis, I am finding that often the inner contentment has me smiling what I call a Buddha smile.. From ear to ear, head to toe and through and through. =^_^= Always live with “world Peace” in your Heart.

Perfect LIberty

I’ll have to go back and take another picture now that the snow is all gone. The grass is green and the flowers have begun to bloom. Although this shows the building itself, the welcoming entrance. The love and community in this building gives it a life of its own, always one feels welcome when visiting the church of Perfect Liberty.

I’ve been silent for some time now. No one reason, just that I’ve been busy living day to day, moment to moment. When one focuses on “Being in the Moment” days are full, satisfying and rewarding. I have written a number of introductions to PL for a magazine we have here in Ottawa called Tone. It is my hope that in so doing, there will be others who read the words and thoughts and want to come and explore what PL is all about..

“PL’s teachings are practical and common sense. They are the sort of things you will read in positive thinking and self help books, or hear in motivational speeches. The difference is that the members are assisted in practicing them in everyday life through discussions,consultations and prayer” borrowed from my article in the May issue. =^_^=

I have found that committing myself to being a member of the church has made a difference in my life. I was happy before, now I’m even happier. Oshieoya-sama has said that PL can help unhappy people become happy and happy people become even happier. I believe. The website for the Church of Perfect Liberty in Ottawa is http://www.perfectliberty.ca There are PL churches in parts of the States and in Canada. The Motherland is in Japan, with a second Mother land in Brazil.

Those of you who follow my travels and ramblings know that I am a member of the Second Life community and have spent many years enjoying various communities within SL. I’ve especially enjoyed building, traveling and exploring the virtual world. Now, Q ( Qyhat Harbour) who has spent the last many years as a Tiny is going to open up her home to those wanting to know more about the Church of Perfect Liberty. I so believe that the teachings of Perfect Liberty can make profound changes in a person’s life.I want to share with anyone who wants to learn. Virtual world is a beginning, once one has been introduced to the simplicity of its teachings and is ready to move on, there are churches and groups for them to meet and explore in RL. February, a new year, Chinese yr of the Snake

Happy New Year -. another year has passed, and life keeps getting better

In China in olden days, prior to the arrival of a new year, the custom was to sweep away the past, make sure the house was cleaned, and that you were ready to receive all that the new year would bring. (spiritually and intellectually)

In Second Life I found a sim that was preparing for Chinese New Year celebrations. The vendors hadn’t set up yet, I basically had the place to myself. There is something very peaceful about being able to wander a virtual town, experience the artistry of the builders who put it together.

Life is busy right now, I have agreed to do an art show of my work(s) during April and May. This means going through my records, books and photographs to see what I would like to showcase, and determine how best I can talk about the many artistic expressions I’ve had in the last say decade.

I have no idea how to show my sculptures in 3D format in SL (Second Life) and anything that I would have to learn to do so, would take time. Yet, there is no anxiety, just a sense of “Wow, what fun I’ll have putting a show together” this will be my first in SL. It means show my work to total strangers, without faces, I will have to bring the RL into the virtual world, and then go with the flow.

It is one thing to build in SL and display what I have been learning and doing there, virtual creativity is not what I’ve manipulated with my bare hands, and shaped or expressed from my inner self. Or is it? All that I do comes from me, myself and I…. I loved this picture that I took of myself on New Year’s eve. There is something about it, that has captured my “mood” I’m happy, and I wish for each and everyone who read this to know, that I want you to be happy too. In PL (Perfect Liberty) we say, “life is art” and for me.. happiness is being creative. Blessings. Q

Wandering and Wondering

Wandering and Wondering. Wow. here I was looking forward to what I had written back in September that I never got around to finishing. All I had done was the title. Goes to show, I have been kept busy with one thing or another, and for the life of me, I couldn’t tell you what exactly. That is what my head space is like thee days. I’m enjoying life. I’m happy. Content even. I flow from one task or activity to the next, living it, and then letting it go. I have been keeping up with my Long Dash Studio blog, that I do almost every day. http://longdashstudio.blogspot.com . My various personas are all doing well. Qyhat Harbour is now a ginger cat, and has an art exhibit on in Raglan Shire, it will be there for two months, April 2013 and May 2013 … AloToi is CEO of LONG DASH STUDIOS, writer,model, photographer, and Xsa Queler is model and writer for the blog. The blog is now in its 14 month, and we have reached close to 15000 readers, our biggest readership is in USSR, Europe and the UK. You can find us in Second Life, http://www.secondlife.com

We did wander last year, 9 States and 5 Provinces. I must have been going to write about the adventure. we’ve talked of taking off again, but so far, we have not strayed to far from home … Maybe when the nicer weather is here to stay, we will venture out. Meanwhile, I’m just saying Hi… and putting this blog to bed.
