We have all at one time or another been in such a place, either an airport, train station, bus station, exhibition grounds, it could be anywhere. There is a constant flow of activity around you. You need to unwind, slow down, chill. what do you do?
For me, I turn off, I zone out. This skill didn’t come to me overnight, it is a life long practice that is akin to prayer and meditation. I close my eyes and turn inward to the quiet within me. Serenity, peace, joy… these are inner qualities of “self”. Our connection to God/Tao… Life. PL Precept # 3, God appears through One’s Self... We can’t always travel to distant lands to meditate and pray in temples and at shrines. There are countries where the churches and temples are open for those who wish to pray and communicate with “the Divine”. In North America this is not always possible except at given times and days.
When we learn to meditate/pray in a way that connects to our inner “Self”, then no matter where we are, even in a crowded room. we can connect to the quiet and peace within. we rejuvenate, energize and mend the tired/shattered psyche .. giving us that needed extra boost to get on with creativity of our day/night. PL Precept #21 – Live in Perfect Liberty

PL Precepts # 15 All is a Mirror
PL Principle # 16 I will not have a mind to be arrogant nor conceited
These are the two lessons i am working on this morning.. I found myself thinking some very surprising thoughts this morning. Recollections of my unbidden thoughts from last night seem to be wanting attention. You know where a thought comes up about something that happened at another time that is disturbing … yet at the time, you hadn’t noticed just how much the experience was affecting your thought process.
Today’s calendar “lesson” says, that if we face a situation head on, a path will open up“…. hmm sits quietly and reflects on the niggly thoughts that are lingering. I didn’t like learning I had a lazy mind, but after it was brought to my attention, I did eventually see that I do have a lazy mind, LOL and it sneaks up on me when I least expect it.
This ahHA moment will also be a good lesson for me. Smiles, life lessons are ongoing, guess I’ll be a “work in progress” for some time to come.
Thank you for sharing with me -I so appreciate you all, may your day be blessed with blue skies and happiness.

Parfois … il y a des évènements de notre passé … qui nous empêchent de vivre notre vie en toute liberté …
Je me libère …aujourd’hui … de ma culpabilité … taken from a friend’s page, (boutique mado)
What Mado is saying is that there is often things from our past that encumber us and prevent us from living the life we want/deserve. Her testimony for that day was to let go of the weight or burdens of the past and move on.
The picture she found to express her sentiment, was awesome. I pass it along to you today. Merci Mado!

** Q
This photo sparked a lot of comments and not always pleasant back and forth between persons with various backgrounds arguing about evolution, theory, science etc. The picture itself was found on flavorchemist.livejournal.com. LOL I did read a good many of the comments, and have to applaud each and everyone of the readers because they were really into it. EAchd held strong views, no one wanted to back down, and each was determined to make his/her point. One picture, one issue, one statement can illicit so many different reactions. Applaud the differences, praise TAO that you are blessed with a mind to focus on what is right for you, appreciate the blessings you have in your life, /Evolve spiritually on a daily basis.
Do we always have to have just one right-wrong. In Tao, there cannot be one without the other. There is not only one side to a coin. We can only look OUT from with IN.
Meditation
As long as one has 3 square feet of space
one can take a trip to paradise
You need only close your eyes
and follow your breathing to inner peace.
Smiles and wishes you all a very happy day!

words Q
Remember this picture. I’ve used it before. I loved the stained glass windows. I loved how the windows survived while the insides of the church was showing the rubble and decay of neglect and time. Not being the photographer who took this picture, I do not know what the outside of this building looked like. My vision can only drink in what I see. My emotions and feelings toss and turn inside my head looking for the words to explain what seeing this moment in time does to and for me.
Today’s meditation/lesson >The bigger the task, the more your convictions are tested < So many questions arose when I looked at the church, the light from outside is still coming through the windows, on a bright sunny day, how mesmerizing the view must be. How enchanted I am just gazing at the light coming in through the various colours. The peeling on the old walls has formed a lace pattern of intricate designs, were I there today, I would zoom in for a closer look. (times like this I miss my viewer in SL) ( LOL.. for those of us who are part of the community in the virtual world of SL, there is a lot I’m sure that we at times wish we could do in our everyday lives as easily as we do in our other reality)
We all have windows in our lives, and mostly we look out.. not into them. Why is that do you think? When we encounter a challenge, are given a diagnosis we don’t really want … … what is it we tend to do. Look on Google, ask around about it, share the information with a friend.??? We’re given a window, what do we do with it…
Windows are symbolic of consciousness. Yet windows are often simply part of our physical space, and are given thought to when we need to ope or close the shutters /blinds.. or look out to see if it is raining. Unlike the door which we interact with on a daily basis. Using it to enter or leave the premises, yet I doubt we pay that much attention to it. Tasks and challenges/opportunities are like windows and doors in our lives. We “see” them, we use them, but often don’t really “see” them at all. They just are.
Sometimes we need to look at the window, really look at it, and see it not only from outside, but from inside as well. When we encounter resistance in our thinking, we are looking in only one direction, usually out, it is often what is inside that is at the heart of the matter.
Come sit with me, share this time to contemplate the moment. Together we will live this moment in time, so when we move on, this moment will not be forgotten. Our windows allow the light to come in, when it does, let it shine……………….
“If what you desire
is to be inspired and feel joy
but the opposite keeps showing up,
Rather than cursing fate
you can view yourself
as simply being
out of creative
vibrational alignment.”
