Looking for a covered bridge, found one.. just not in the state I expected to find it in. It is a bridge, and it is covered. =^_^=. We were over on the Quebec side today, no sitting in restaurants, had to order and take food out. We also discovered the deer hunting season has begun. (unhappy face)

Wandered off the road, following animal tracks, the vegetation shows where they cross into the woodlands. it was a beautiful day. I stood still hidden by the brush and enjoyed the quiet and the peacefulness of the landscape. What a joy and blessing to live in a country where I can still visit and enjoy such wonders.
Enjoy the moment while you wait. Things come about when they re meant to happen. Think o what you an do for the time being, and don’t rush the outcome.

π covered bridge! Have you been to New Brunswick? We have the longest covered bridge in the world
good morning! yes, years ago… we would travel through NB to get to NS/Cape Breton, way back in the day my husband was a DJ at the radio station in Sydney…what a happy memory, thank YOU. have a good productive and joyful day!
You too!
Were you wearing your blaze-orange hat and matching boots?
I wish, had I known, no I was wearing a camouflaged kind of jean, with a deep purple vest and a forest green lightly striped long sleeve shirt.. like duh!
Good thing you werenβt wearing your Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer battery-powered LED horns!π
LOL what a chuckle thank you.. a good hearty way to start the day!!!
Good philosophy – as usual
Good evening Derrick… happy waves to you from across the ocean!
π
It is covered.
LOL smart Puppy you are ! both the bridges I had hoped to see where unavailable, the other one the road was closed to it .. due to construction…. day was still enjoyed!!
That is a bridge and it is covered. It meets all of the criteria but wasn’t quite what I had in mind.
I know imagine my “horror” when we got there. the other bridge (old wooden bridge) had the road closed to it, due to construction too… sometimes it just isn’t meant to be!!!!!
I hear you. You can’t force it.
Please don’t lament deer season. In the south, especially in Texas, the population has grown so much that hunting deer is next to impossible, and we are being overrun with them.
And, the other side of the coin? Since you can’t hunt deer due to dense population, you can’t hunt wild pigs, which are far worse than too many deer.
waves a good evening to you across the miles…
I was raised in Cape Breton.love the Seal Island Bridge. I haven’t seen that bridge in Quebec.
