Needed a break from the heat, humidity and at times rain.
Every day is a new beginning… I remember taking this picture, the day was cool, crisp and invigorating. Hard to find that these days, it has been scorching.. uncomfortable and heavy.
In the PL Prayer, there is a passage “ all humankind who are brought to birth in accord with your Creation are endowed with individuality and intelligence to live an artistic life, for the sake of the world and for the sake of humankind.”
Let’s set higher goals and work to improve ourselves.
Let’s work towards our goals while keeping a clear vision of what we hope to achieve. Your strong conviction and Makoto (sincere effort) will help drive you towards accomplishing what you set out to do.

LOL it does look slanted, but when I go and look at it … it looks fine, could have been the angle when I took it… anyway, the minerals are safe away from furry paws.
The Brats play cowboys or space cadets not sure, all I know is at some time in the wee hours they go into frisky mode and use the bed as a trampoline to dive over to the bureau where their cat tower is. Thankfully I’m in a dead sleep.. and barely wake now that I know what is happening, The first night or two.. it was a bit un-nerving

New Zealand is very beckoning. This picture my friend posted has an almost surrealism to it. Moving has had a dramatic effect on me.. I am still putting together the pieces that shattered around me during the start of the move.
The reality of my situation didn’t hit me till I was able to distance myself from what “was”. You all know the expression,. “one can’t see the forest for all the trees”
Small changes can bring about a fresh outlook.
Are you just living each day and getting into a rut? By making small changes in the things you do, your day to day life an become fresh and exciting.

What a hoot!! Let’s see if you can tell which house is mine ?
Ok everyone now knows I’ve put the house up for sale… the once quiet residential area I fell in love with, has become a very different place, with a totally unfamiliar vibe. The real-estate agents listed it yesterday, there is now a sign in my front yard. Thanks Bonnie for looking up the listing for me.
I have had many encouraging messages, for that I thank you, it has been a mouthful for sure. There are a lot of memories associated with the place. When we bought, the property was bare of vegetation. There is a cherry tree that gives an abundance of cherries every spring, and in early spring there is a Saskatoon Berry tree with amazing berries. The birds, love the trees and visiting the property. I will miss them. There is even a rabbit that lives somewhere in the neighbourhood, spends a lot of time in my front yard. (wonder why)
In the back I have a maturing magnolia, maple, evergreen, and an assortment of other small trees and vegetation… In my new place (apartment) I have an outdoor patio, with a hedge .. that will be my greenery. All things must evolve and we must embrace new beginnings.
It all begins with your determination
Things begin to happen the moment you decide. “Let’s do it” It all has to do with your attitude.
