LEA22- IMMACULATE PERCEPTION – IMMACULATE REFLECTION
Do you remember chanting,” rain, rain go away, come again another day”? We would be out playing in the rain anyway. yet it seemed the fun thing to do at the time. Skipping rope or playing with the bolo bat. LOL now that is really saying something about the time I was growing up. Bet some of you don’t even know what a bolo bat is. It is a paddle with a ball attached to it.
This toy and the yo-yo were hours of fun, and if you were really good you competed, especially with the yo-yo. The yo-yo was easy to carry around, and take with you everywhere. You would see people enjoying the pass-time in parks, waiting for buses. on the front porch, at beaches, the yo-yo was everywhere.
And no this was not just something that the girls did, this was something that the boys really got into, They really developed the skill in a way that was entertaining and showed their dexterity and ingenuity in how many they could perform with at one time etc.
Young and old tried their hand with the Yo-Yo. I know of many who had huge collections of these wonderful little gems. Yo-Yos came in every colour and designs you can imagine. There were even special Yo-Yo gloves. You could compete with friends on how many times you could go around the world, (the yo-yo makes a revolution all the way around in a circle away from the body) or you did puzzles the way this man is doing, at first it looked like Tommy Smothers, but I’m not sure? I know some of you are saying , who?, he was Dick’s brother, LOL popular comedians
Now what got me on the topic of yo-yos and bolo bats, who knows, I was thinking about things that make me smile and had a flash back, that led me into sharing a bit of vintage with you, Maybe it’s because I’ll be finishing up a blog later about Woodstock69,(SL)* have been working on it for days now. There is so much in our past that makes us who we are today, I appreciate my past experiences, the ups and the downs, not in detail, but the emotions and the life lessons I learned along the way. There is gratitude in my heart for having come this far. My happiness is not tied to material objects, but to the emotions of life, loving, sharing and experiencing moments with friends, family and yes, even the strangers I’ve met who in many ways touched my heart with their actions, thoughts or deeds.
*Woodstock69 is an event taking place in SL (Second Life) August 12,13,14th 2014 live performances in a themed environment -wear vintage

In Perfect Liberty (Church PL) we say ” Life is Art” that is the #1 Precept of our 21 Precepts.
# 2 is To Live Is to Express One’s Self,
#7 Everything Exists in Relativity.
#18 Each Moment is a Turning Point
I have mentioned before that I visit Second Life which is a virtual world. To some it is a game and to others it is not. To know what Second Life is all about, you have to experience it. Much like if I am eating a peach and you see me with a big smile and peach juice at the corners of my mouth, you note the peach is fuzzy and looks moist and inviting, this will give you some information about what I’m eating, but if you ask me, what does it taste like, my answer will really not tell you anything. Why, because you are not tasting it for yourself, and my taste buds and yours might be on totally different planets.
Why am I talking about SL today, mainly because I just finished doing the blog for this virtual reality world http://virtualluna.blogspot.ca/ and I was totally blown away by the creativity and artist way of life many of the creators in SL lead. The builders (artists/designers) recreate what they see, like and enjoy in our day to day world, which in SL speak is called RL (real life) These people from all over the world, SL is played by people from all over the world if there is internet there is SL. The SL currency can be exchanged in most major markets. ie. we can trade SL currency for US dollars. (LOL if you have enough of it)
Many of the artists/designers make their living through sales in this virtual marketplace. They use their skills to design and build for the inhabitants of this world, and they make enough to pay their” whatever” in real life. In PL we recognize that each individual is a unique being, and we all have ways to express who we are.
One of the valuable lessons of this virtual world is that we have to look beyond the avatar we are speaking with, because behind each avatar is a real live breathing person. So in life.. we meet someone and we see their outer shell. How often do we forget that inside that body we are looking at, there is a person, with a heart and feelings. We look at their appearance, the clothes they wear, how they stand, speak, and without knowing it, or even thinking about it, we form an opinion. It is hard not to do.
I ask you today, to think of the PL Precepts I’ve mentioned above, and to put your Makoto into doing your best to value those Precepts and apply them to your daily living. The truth revealed in their words applies universally to all humankind.

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE! It is Friday!!!
Remember this picture. I’ve used it before. I loved the stained glass windows. I loved how the windows survived while the insides of the church was showing the rubble and decay of neglect and time. Not being the photographer who took this picture, I do not know what the outside of this building looked like. My vision can only drink in what I see. My emotions and feelings toss and turn inside my head looking for the words to explain what seeing this moment in time does to and for me.
Today’s meditation/lesson >The bigger the task, the more your convictions are tested < So many questions arose when I looked at the church, the light from outside is still coming through the windows, on a bright sunny day, how mesmerizing the view must be. How enchanted I am just gazing at the light coming in through the various colours. The peeling on the old walls has formed a lace pattern of intricate designs, were I there today, I would zoom in for a closer look. (times like this I miss my viewer in SL) ( LOL.. for those of us who are part of the community in the virtual world of SL, there is a lot I’m sure that we at times wish we could do in our everyday lives as easily as we do in our other reality)
We all have windows in our lives, and mostly we look out.. not into them. Why is that do you think? When we encounter a challenge, are given a diagnosis we don’t really want … … what is it we tend to do. Look on Google, ask around about it, share the information with a friend.??? We’re given a window, what do we do with it…
Windows are symbolic of consciousness. Yet windows are often simply part of our physical space, and are given thought to when we need to ope or close the shutters /blinds.. or look out to see if it is raining. Unlike the door which we interact with on a daily basis. Using it to enter or leave the premises, yet I doubt we pay that much attention to it. Tasks and challenges/opportunities are like windows and doors in our lives. We “see” them, we use them, but often don’t really “see” them at all. They just are.
Sometimes we need to look at the window, really look at it, and see it not only from outside, but from inside as well. When we encounter resistance in our thinking, we are looking in only one direction, usually out, it is often what is inside that is at the heart of the matter.
Come sit with me, share this time to contemplate the moment. Together we will live this moment in time, so when we move on, this moment will not be forgotten. Our windows allow the light to come in, when it does, let it shine……………….
“If what you desire
is to be inspired and feel joy
but the opposite keeps showing up,
Rather than cursing fate
you can view yourself
as simply being
out of creative
vibrational alignment.”
quote- Dr.Wayne W. Dyer

There is a great sense of joy when we are able to express our true selves. Our environment and the things that happen all around us, are all materials for self expression. In PL we are taught that with God’s blessing, we will be able to freely express ourselves using these materials. When I found this little church tucked away between a wooded area and the sea, the artist’s build brought a genuine smile and joy to me. If you are virtual traveler this is the link to ! The Sanctuary ” Our Lady Lourdes of Lourdes”, the url is http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Excellens/189/209/67
Always focus on your true feelings and express yourself honestly. It was in following where my footsteps led that I found this little sanctuary
By leading a cheerful, joyful and beautiful life, you will learn to work for the happiness of orders as well as yourself. PL Precept #21 LIFE IS ART
Have you ever felt the draw to return to your dream. You wake up and feel that where you’ve been, and what you’ve seen was so so very much a part of who you are. Have you heard of “astral projection”? At one time, there was a lot of talk, discussion and study on the ability of the spiritual form to travel across space and explore other dimensions, and even visit family and friends.
I don’t hear a lot about that these days, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. Maybe it is because I feel that my night time travels are an extension of my days or “awake” time. I think it helped that my Mother always shared her dream experiences with me, so it wasn’t out of the ordinary. Just matter of fact. Like the TAO/God being a constant factor, it wasn’t a relationship I needed to find, it was part of my daily life, life breathing. Respect for nature and all mankind was natural because it was an extension of who I was. Life is my studio, and I am the artist.
Dreams are part of my inventory, and astral journeys are part of my research. Life is good, life is full, and most of all, life is love.
When you live with love in your heart, you enjoy the full spectrum of life. Jai Guru Dev (TM) Oyashikiri (PL) Amen =^_^=

As we travel the roads of life, and encounter the challenges that come our way, it is important that we maintain a spiritual balance. Our “spirit” includes emotions, energy, hope, courage, , it embraces our individual choices regarding ethics, morals, values and integrity. How you live your life, what you take from and give to life is an integral part of your spirit.
Let us choose to put our whole heart into whatever we do. Let us practice being mindful towards achieving a better balance in our daily living. Keep prayer a daily practice, stay connected.
You are always in my prayers, now tomorrow and always… Oyashikiri

A warrior takes every person as an adversary
He/she sees all their vulnerable points.
And trains to eliminate his/her own
Only the way of the sage eliminates all weaknesses.
The sage goes beyond concepts of protection, competition, honour and righteousness, and has no fear of death
The sage knows life is merely an illusion.
Life is but one dream flowing into another. Tao –Deng Ming-Dao

Sometimes, we have to really look to see something.
When we do take the time to be present in our surroundings, we are often blessed with a deeper understanding of the moment we are living.

So many parties and events, there is a lot to do during the holidays =^_ ^= What happens when and if you are simply not the party type, or like being in crowds. One of the lessons in PL (Perfect Liberty) is to appreciate who you are, your situation, likes and preferences. As an artist who can easily get lost in writing or creative expressions, I tend to forget what time of day it is, or even at times, what day it is.
In PL, we have daily opportunities to speak with or have personal consultations with the PL minister of the church. If you are not near an actual physical church, all the PL ministers no matter where they are will “meet” with you, via phone, internet, Skype, whatever means they have at their disposal to “meet” with you.
Each one of us has our own unique personality and lifestyle. Therefore, it is different for each individual how they practice the “True Way” (TAO/PL) We all seek happiness in our own way.
Last night when I couldn’t sleep, I wandered my favourite shopping haunts looking for a red dress for the holiday season. No not to go to parties, no-where really, but because it pleases me to dress up. Like the days when I designed fashions for my doll models, now I can do it in the virtual world, it is a form of artistic expression.one I never seem to tire of. LIFE IS ART
Look and you shall find …. 5 little words to remember, in all aspects of your life. =^_^= You need to continue and persevere to make your wishes and goals come true. God is here for you, God is everywhere ALL the time.
YOU are loved.. today and everyday.
