Wonders

Feel the heat, know the hunger

that mixes with the wonder

of discovering that Nature can be so beautiful

yet, so complex, and full of mysteries

an ice cave, inside a volcano

could this really be

yes deep down inside under the crust of the earth

Nature’s awesome wonders

continue to be a fascination

that are forever bending and challenging

my understanding and appreciation

of what IS

because it isn’t in my immediate reality

does not mean it does not exist

or that it isn’t so…

it simply means I have not been there yet

or the experience is one I have not had

Love is much like the above

we tend to want to categorize and romanticize love

yet time and time again

we learn, that only in letting go of preconceived ideas of what it should be

do we discover that it wasn’t that at all

when we allow love/God into our lives,

we thrive

no matter who we are, where we are, ” what” we are

all living entities/beings, respond to love

kindness, understanding towards one another

can change the world

when we explore what is beyond our known reality

we discovers the wonders, the glorious, the unfathomable

Love transcends our realities

be open to the wonders of life

looking up

when walking through my dream

it seems, that all I did was walk

I searched, had no idea what I was searching for

but on, and on I went

down corridors, and carpeted halls

even ran up broad marbled stairs

this is not my first time in the maze

sometimes it feels like I’m lost for days

it’s the past, it’s the present

yes I talk to people

I ask for directions,

I’m realizing now as I recount

this tale, no one ever says good day

not me, or anyone else I meet

we are all so busy, busy,busy

how can I be lost

I’m surrounded by people

yet I am on this endless search

I can’t find my “room” my private space

everything looks the same, each corridor

I find, has numbered doors,

1st, 2nd, 21st. floor it doesn’t matter

no door is mine, besides, I seem to have lost the key

what web have I created with my nattering mind

and multi tasked habits

oh please, why do I insist on constantly searching

when if only I would stop, just stop

and look up instead of rushing

from one place to another

looking up

I will see the sky, the Universe

and in the vastness of the Universe

my spirit will find peace

from the chattering of my mind

of daily matters that blind me

to the inner voice with me

that tells me, I need not search

I need not worry that I can’t get home

I am always home

God/Tao/Universe is always with me

I am never alone

I need only stop

and look up.

a quiet walk

learning to walk with God

to be aware that every step you take

every movement you make

any direction you decide to follow

will bring you closer to your goal

what goal? maybe you are not aware

that you even have one

but somewhere, buried deep

in the recesses of your inner Being

there is a solid reason

why, even in the crowded streets

or busy by ways

you feel a longing, even a need

at times, for a quiet moment,

a time where you say, please..

give me one moment to myself

we must sincerely apply our hearts to understanding

that God is the air we breathe, the life the flows within our veins

no matter you disbelieve, you are alive,

therefore you ARE..

Accepting and nurturing the person you ARE

that is a challenge we face

Till from this earth we part, with just a trace

of a memory by those who walked along

beside or with us on our journey

the day will come

when our days and nights become one

we will ride the mighty dragon

far into the Universe

our quiet walk

will have begun

Why?

… look beyond the fear of the unknown…

the Universe is vast

NGC 6302 is a bipolar planetary nebula in the constellation Scorpius

mean anything to you, no not really

but it does exist, and it is part of our galaxy

look into my eyes, really look

what do you see, can you see beyond the eyes looking back at you

can you feel the invisible web that is weaving

and binding us closer and closer

do you see beyond the fear of the unknown

…we can speculate all we want…

the Universe is vast

and nothing in our past

will give explanation

to what is happening now

you and I, are endowed, we are

part of the spectrum of life

energies bound together by

similar wavelengths

our frequencies in tune

…we hum in harmony…

is there a real need

to know why?

God is everything, to see TAO in everything,

makes life the greatest adventure there is.

I don’t think that I can count the number of times, that I discover that my reality and the actual happening, and interaction with others, is totally bonkers. I talked the other day of time, and perception, every day I learn how askew my reality is, and that because of that, I create my own frustrations and sometimes anxiety. As a young child i can recall how other children would taunt me and call me names..just because… I was different, I was Asian in a very different culture. Hurt and confused I would run to my father, who would quietly take me aside and explain to me that in life, there would always be others who don’t understand or accept that I was different. What counted was, my thoughts and understanding about myself. I was young, not even close to a double-digit age. But he would walk me through understanding that it was because they really didn’t know me yet.. and that I should go out and get to know them.. He didn’t let me stay in or shield me, he sent me back out to play. He taught me that it was their problem if they lacked insight, not mine.

He taught me that life was to be lived, and that meant accepting that it would not always be sunny days, or happy, but what was important was that I like myself, and enjoy the world around me, because it was a gift. God/TAO was always, always with me, part of me, I was never alone. In going back out to the play, I did get to know the other boys and girls, and I learned another language. To this day, my friends from that time of my life, tell me what it meant for them to discover friendship with me, someone with a different cultural background,, and how it changed for them, their perception of others they later met in life that were “different”

The Universe is vast, and often we find ourselves alone with a view that is beyond words, or in a situation that is just so awesome to our inner psyche that.. there simply is nothing to do but absorb and take in the moment. Even if someone shared that ledge with you… no two people will experience the same emotion in that moment, or “see” the same “picture”.

The Universe, does provide, only it may not be when you want, rather, it will be … when the time is such that you are ready for that discovery/recognition.

timing

Being in the right place at the right time, having your camera at the ready, and the lighting just what is needed to capture a moment in time.

When I saw this photo, taken by John Westrock, posted on Flickr, I thought, “what a good capture? and moved away, but something drew me back to look more closely. I must have contemplated on this picture for some time… I saw how the graffiti in the background sat like a halo over his head.

I wondered if the two shoes on his feet matched. Some how, I felt that this man was having a peaceful morning smoke and was contemplating life in his own way. I decided he was content just basking in his solitude.

Of course this is totally a fabrication of my own. I wasn’t there, I don’t know the man and have no idea just how long ago this was taken, or where it was taken.

What I do know is that the artist/photographer had a talent and a good eye to see what he did and click that shutter when he did. I thought I’d visit his page to see what else he had posted. Hellooooo.. not what I expected at all.

Timing, patience,total focus on the moment, these are the ingredients of a good capture, a moment caught in time, some are worthy saving, some are not. Some moments will change you forever…

So it is in our daily lives, I began my thoughts this morning with the 1st photo, that I now know was taken sometime in 2013, research and dedicated time to search precious moments, a luxury, no I don’t think so. I believe we owe it to ourselves to make each moment count, in a way that allows us at the end of the day to say, “thank you God” I had a wonderful day.

When we live practicing the Precepts and Principles of PL (Perfect Liberty) we grow to know that no matter what the day brings our way, we can deal with it, we can embrace the moment and learn just what it is about ourselves that caused that moment to take place.

In PL, there is a Precept, #7, Everything exists in Relativity – Precept # 11 is – Always be with God, two of my favourite meditations.

Timing

when we find ourselves truly embraced

and caught up in the moment

we often will find that we have come face to face

with an unspoken fear

and in that very moment

the fear is no longer buried by layers of the past

for you have recognized it, at last.

praying together

I happened to arrive at church today as the people in residence were about to gather in prayer to start the day. Being there I joined in. It is a prayer that is said daily, and not new to me, yet, standing there with the ministers and family members, I felt a rush of joy at being there, sharing in the morning prayer.

In prayer we are all connected. The bond grows stronger.

close your eyes and reverently pray

that today, you will keep the connection

with the Universe/God

in all you say and do.

To You Who searches

High on a hill you stand

feeling the majesty of the land

Nature in her rainbow mantle

smiles back peacefully

bathed in the golden warmth of day

yet, in your heart you feel a tug and rattle…

What is this overpowering feeling

that time after time draws you here…

To sit alone perched on sculptured granite

high above… and hidden well away

a single, solitary figure

overshadowed by the festive maples

mighty oaks and whispering pines…

Looking out through searching eyes

thirsting for the meaning of “Divine”

lazily a cloud drifts by

a lacy swirl of powder white

against a sky of innocent blue

look at you…

questions, questions,questions, is this all you do!

a search for the truth is a lifelong task

when you look out, instead of within…

listen to the symphony of life

feel… experience… with your total being

prayer/meditation will remove illusions

so that in this mortal world of questions and answers

you will discover and realize a simple truth…

The natural universe, in essence

is a mirror image, and the awe and wonder

simply… a true communion with self …

I had forgotten that there was a time when my work was copyright, etc., now I’m looking for the series of short stories I did at that time too. Mollie I may have some that aren’t adult reading =^_^=

In cleaning up today, looking for my lost cheque book, I had to empty out all the files in the cabinet drawer and begin the physical task of looking through each file folder. (This happens when one starts to do a clean up because the compter hard drive needed to be taken in for a check up.)

In PL we learn that when we take notice of something, an idea takes form in our noggin, its time to pay attention. LOL right now that for me means, sorting through old files.
