The best timing to take action is when you notice it. When you take note of something, it is a signal from God that you should take care of it right away.
Have a good day everyone.

For days I basically dragged myself around, my attention span was that of a gnat … did you know that these little insects besides being a bother.. can bite, (they feed on blood) (biting midges)
I mentioned the other day that I had returned to the “bush” and spent some time in the dense overgrowth… pruning back, and clearing areas that were getting too dense to walk clear of wet prickly vegetation.. it was time well spent, but I was exhausted from the effort.. when I finally sat still .. my body had something to say about my activities.
Well dear reader… my body decided enough was enough, and took my mind off of wandering the woodlands. It allowed me to feel its opinion..I started to sniffle, sneeze, ear blocked, I felt a cold sore coming on.. and then it struck with the symptom it knew I was not going to enjoy,, chills, Let’s just say, my body does not have a sense of humour.
I’ve been practicing a lot of C A L M …. the rip van winkle kind.
How are you doing? Did you experience any of that thunderstorm we had the other night. Do you know we still had hail around one of the flower beds yesterday afternoon.

/all in all, today is a brand new day. Sun is out.. what adventure will it bring my way?

I attended a “show” last night where there was music that had me bouncing in my seat,,. I watched the dancers, and began thinking of all the days/nights where dancing was a part of my life 7 days a week. It was years ago, and the memory is still vivid… yet… sadly … I live a life now where there is no nitely stage show, no performance to prepare for, no instruments being tuned, songs being rehearsed, an audience to be won over. Those days are long gone.
Memories. we all have them.
What I was reminded of .. was how important it is to keep “activity” in one’s life. Doesn’t have to be going to a gym, joining a class, or trying to keep up with the newest and latest trends. Simple stretches during the day, hand and finger exercises.. When we are younger, we seem to always be on the go. As we “age” /”mature” our life circumstances and obligations change, and slowly we glide into an “age” where there is less “activity”, more sitting, more drinking/eating and sometimes, less social interaction.

This morning I am pondering…. what it was about last night’s “ah ha” moment that has stuck in my craw. I think one thought is … I have to start listening to more of the music that gets me “moving” my body is “rusty” it needs “oiling” – moving the joints .. stretching the limbs.. swaying and balancing while in motion… when I left, just as I was leaving Una (the DJ) spun a song that had me wanting more…
Come on.. give it a try… do a chair dance, take a moment and listen.. turn up the music and just D A N C E
