These doors off Coventry on Belfast (Ottawa) have always caught my eye. For years now I’ve told myself I’d stop and take a picture.. it is always too busy, it is just before a busy intersection. On foot the other day… finally.. I walked the extra steps.. to capture them.

Knowing I never have to consider spending money on something so restrictive.
Shoes, and more shoes, I was able to walk away, comfortable as they are, I said “No thank you” and walked away.
Finding these crisp white little flowers on my walk today. They popped up at me, happy as can be… I smiled.. stopped and captured the moment.
Yes, it was a good day. My Morning walk, was refreshing, the hot sun and high humidity didn’t hit till after the noon hour,

where the music came from
it happened when she was
working in her room,
and now, double statues
3 maidens high above
and 3 maidens on the ground
somewhere there was a clue
quietly no words spoken
they turned
walking deeper into the gardens.

So rarely these days do I come across what I call decent doors in a powder room I had to give these doors their few minutes of fame. =^_^=
Polished wood and chrome. Clean tiles. All that was missing was the attendant. Anyone else remember those days?
Have a grand start to a sunny week-end, wherever you are, whatever the weather, make memories. Admire a door!! Doors are everywhere.

PL Precept #1 Life is Art
Every once in a while, you get to have a special lunch with good friends, there is shared laughter and playful fun. Let’s not forget, great food. Steak rare… tender, moist lobster tail, and a baked potato that was simply delicious. The waitress said try it, I did, and .. let me tell you.. it was wickedly sinful. No dessert needed.
Enjoy every moment of your day!
Today it was easy peasy. Genuine laughter, conversations, light, interesting and comfortable. Yup, a hedge hog, possum and fox, make for good company and a great lunch. Me? a cross between a fennec and a cat =^_^= That is all I’ll say.

Restaurant – Baton Rouge, Kanata, Ontario
For real. A special visit for 2 MapleLea dolls who got to visit an American Girl Salon at the AG Boutique at Chapters downtown Ottawa, right in the heart of the city. They were so thrilled..
First they got to pick their new hair styles, and then the colours of the bows they wanted. There was even talk of nail polish for their nails, and having their ears done. We did look at earrings, but when roller skates were added to the want list.. it was agreed, we would come back on another day. I got to look around for new accessories for their wardrobes that to will wait for another day.
The staff is so courteous, and well-informed, they were able to answer all the questions, well most of them, the girls had about the history and back grounds for a couple of their friends. Seeing where their friends came from was very exciting for them. they couldn’t stop talking about their experience all the way back home.
There was a lot of excitement and giggling when it came time for the young ladies to get ready for bed. I somehow think it will take a wee bit of time to get them to settle down.
Being positive, sharing a good experience with friends, is always a good way to create happy memories
Appreciation for the uniqueness in each of our friends will build a stronger relationship
Friendships are blessings in our lives.
