Trow this week! and

Trow has been playing this month, at Voodoo Lounge, (Isle du Noir), Warehouse Speakeasy, the Creede Colorado Fall fair, and now this coming Thursday, October 19th, he’ll be on Spice Island, at the Spice Restaurant and Social Club Park. 3 pm slt. On Tuesday, October 17th. he’ll be on stage at Nat’s Jazz Club, Detroit. 4 pm slt. Nat’s is a dress up event, http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Detroit%20City/35/195/25

I was asked recently if his performances are all the same, and the answer to that is NO.. Trow has been playing professionally in RL for a long time, and in SL almost 16 years. He has a very varied inventory of songs/music… he delights in mixing them up to give his audience something different every set. He will often change up his set to suit the “mood” or ambience of the venue. His long time fans know, he can be full of surprises. If you have yet to catch him .. you are in for a treat… no two sets are ever the same.

Doc Avalon suggested we visit the haunted house on Isle du Noir, China’s first reaction.. this would be a great place for a party…. then she met the guests. (^_^) It is a great place for all you camera buffs out there that want to take pictures in your newest and latest scary outfits for the next two weeks. Trow plays the Warehouse Speakeasy the first Thursday of every month. Watch for him November 2. 5 pm slt. Notices will be sent out in advance. Meanwhile, DJ Henri and co-owner Robby Lock have something happening at the Warehouse or one of its other locations almost nightly. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/xFire/208/174/1201 You can see the sign board over the stage, it is always current. Note. DJ Henri also plays on Isle Du Noir.

There are several DJ’s who are worth noting .. and searching out, you will have seen them either on or after Trow at different locations. DJ Speelo Snook … DJ. Caron Parnall …. DJ Hannah Thorn …. These personalities offer a wide eclectic range of music… look them up. DJ Caron and D,J Hannah have started up a new venue .. info. is not currently available.. but should be soon.

Watch for notices, they go out usually very early on the day of, and then closer to the time of the event. If you are not sure whether or not you are on our currently mailing list, please reach out to China… (China Dream)

The vixen is out

DJ Yume had the place jumping with raunchy bewitching tunes. She played two hours of fiendish music that had everyone moving. No one was sitting still.

Wednesday night out

I was drawn to the outdoors today. we are fortunate to live where we can enjoy a huge expanse of open countryside, and the ocean. I really needed a break from the news coverage of the unrest and disrespect for human diversity. Fortunately I do have a place to escape.

Girls night out – DJ Yume is rocking the tunes

The music is loud and we are rocking. Rose in the middle, Yume on the right and yours truly on the left. There obviously a lot of choices in Second Life.. Silver works at Smokestack, DJing there on Mondays.. for R & R when we want time out.. we visit Tango’s.. the ambience, and friends there make for a great evening of fun.

It is not unlike one of my previous ones, where I blogged, the fashion, and entertainment venues of the virtual worlds.. Music makes the world go round. Like the individuals we are.. our musical choices differ too.

With the pandemic all around us, many of us spend more time in SL these days.. While Smokestack is every kind of Blues you can imagine, Tango’s offers a variety of tunes.. and the personality DJs like to throw in themes.

Earlier in the evening I was visiting with a friend when we found out it was another friend’s birthday….. a party was happening to celebrate our friend’s birthday… (hey Nick! birthday boy guess you just get to keep celebrating) You betcha A.. we got ourselves over to the party. =^_^=

Life would be plain boring without friends! We are surrounded by negativity, it is up to us to find out own way .. round and past the environment that some would cast us in.

In SL, we are from all corners of the Universe. We gather from everywhere, and simply enjoy sharing time, good music and conversation.

Find the peace/love in you and exercise it every day.

Bruno Mars

Sometimes I wonder how my brain functions. It was bedtime. need to shut down and rest… The above link will take you to what I decided to watch to wind down. Duh, is this a case of “mixed emotions” or a tiny bit of “silly”

Bruno Mars is an “energy” that encourages me to get up and dance, move, keep fit, he makes it all look so effortless, but of course, we all know that such dexterity and co-ordination comes with hard work and practice.

The lazy me, knows that I won’t retain ease of motion if I sit around all day, and the “smart” me knows that right now… I can use some “slowing down”.. BUT whether I feel like it or not, I need to stay fit. So…. today, I may not get up and dance, but I will do my steps… walk, one foot in front of the other, and step step step.

How about you? Are you making time for YOU. or….. are you letting the world hold you down, and not looking ahead…… come on…. move it!
