Let’s First Accept and Appreciate Things as They Are

PL teaching day 25 > Let’s First Accept and Appreciate things as They Are. Even when dealing with someone you don’t like or when you are facing an uncomfortable situation, take a moment to first accept whatever comes your way.  There is always something that you can learn from these situations.  Let’s First Accept and Appreciate Things as They Are.

There is a pure essence of innocence in all of  us. When we were children our actions were not to achieve for  some ulterior motive, we simply acted on our intuition.  Today looking in a mirror and seeing myself  in an outfit that hugged my figure, I realized that I had to be more accepting of my outline, and  appreciate my healthy body. Looking in the mirror, reminded me of a story recently published in the Portuguese newsletter (Jornal Perfeita Liberdade) from Brazil, (Feb.2013 issue) no matter how many times I feel a lesson has been learned, looking in a mirror, brings home a very NOW reality.  Even as a child, I found reason to complain about how I looked.  Self perception is a lesson that I will likely be working on for many moons to come.

PL teaches that when we are puzzled or at a standstill in regards to a particular issue, a spontaneous method (listening to our intuition) could lead to a highly creative and original solution (new way of seeing something)  Act without guile and do not attack the problem directly, Let’s First Accept and Appreciate Things as They Are.

Look for Ways to Make Others as Well as Yourself Happy

PL teaching day 24 > Look for Ways to make Others as Well as Yourself Happy > It isn’t enough to do things just to make yourself happy.  Let’s always think of outcomes that make not only you, but others around you happy as well. <> Look for Ways to Make Others as Well as Yourself Happy.

Personally I have found that when I am happy, truly happy, I find the world and all around me to be very balanced and my encounters with others amicable.  I have learned over the years that the only changes I can make, are to myself and my own actions.  When I am at peace, my energy cultivates a more serene environment.

Perfect Liberty teaches that we are all born with our one of a kind personality and Makoto (individuality and a unique character)  When you are able to express yourself to the fullest from moment to moment, believing in God, without losing sight of your God given individuality (Makoto) you will be able to experience the true joy of living.  When we can express ourselves fully, we are happy.

It is our mission to attain “Great World Peace”, to build a world of love and respect for all. Oneness.

The Flash of Inspiration Is a Gift From GodI

PL Teaching for Day 22 >The Flash of Inspiration Is a Gift From God <    When something suddenly clicks or when a great idea suddenly pops into your head, it is actually not something you have control over.  Understand that this is wisdom given to you by God.  The Flash of Inspiration is a Gift From God.

As an artist/writer, I can’t tell you how often I have wanted to paint, sculpt or write something, get myself all set up and then “puff”  like a cloud of smoke what I thought I was going to do evaporates.  If I try to make it work, the results  are simply not to my liking, yes I may have an end product, but it does not “speak” to me. My first thought it that it should go into the waste bin.  For sure I am not prepared to show it around, or do a drum roll.  So I put it down and it disappears from my immediate thoughts.  If I’m in a persistent mood, I may start over, something inside of me wants to be expressed.  The desire is strong, and I feel the frustration well up  inside me, I know I have something to “say”…. but every time I try something I am dissatisfied with the results. Sound familiar?

When I “Let go and Let God”  allow myself to take a step back, and just allow my hands to work the clay, or if painting the colors and forms to take shape, an inner peace begins to happen, and I find myself humming, carried away by the moment.  I’m focused, I’m in a happy place.  I’ve learned to listen to the little voice inside of me that says, “OK, that’s enough”  I stop.. step back and with eyes of wonder I discover an “expression”  Sometimes I simply have no idea how I got the results that I did.  Ask  me to do another one, I couldn’t.  My “expressions” became a form of meditation for me.  It didn’t matter to me what anyone else thought about the results,  I was happy!    INSPIRATION IS A GIFT I really and truly believe that God is within and part of who we are. God is the tie that binds us all together.  We are ONE.

I thought I’d see what the hexagram 19 was in the I Ching   4 broken lines  over 2 solid lines. (Lin)

The two firm lines at the bottom of the hexagram in the positions of inspiration and self interest, create the arousing atmosphere of Promotion. They rule jointly and aggressively.  There is now a dynamic emphasis on inner growth.

Begin your endeavors in the company of those who share your enthusiasm.  Be certain that you are pursuing your goals.  Have the Courage to Take the First Step.

God Resides in Your Prayerful Mind

PL teaching for day 13 – God Resides in your Prayerful Mind. In addition to making heartfelt and continuous effort, let’s pray to God. God will surely respond to your Makoto (sincerity)

I would like to share with you a couple of sentences from the chapter Life is Art from our PL member’s guide ” Your Artist Expressions Are what Makes Your Life a Work of Art” . As a living person, you interact with the people and things around in order to express your feelings. your life is shaped by the way you express yourself each and every day. Through your daily artistic expressions, you can create your one and only life.”
I have found since becoming a member of PL that I am soaking in the writings of other members who have put together booklets to help new members understand what the Church of Perfect Liberty is all about. I love sharing our faith -(such sharing is called Shingei) . Each day is a new canvas,  just when I think I couldn’t be happier, I read more of the teachings and “life”: gets even better

Thank you for sharing this moment with me. Oshieoya-sama teaches us that the surest way to be blessed is to appreciate all the blessing we have received. Living in Perfect Liberty I feel very blessed.
