Not all plants are exotic beauties, or graceful ballerinas….Some simply grow happily in the sunshine, drinking up the rain, and enjoying life because it is such a joy to do so. They provide diversity for all the woodland creatures, and to those of us who visit, they are there to welcome us as we arrive, and bid us adieu as we leave.

My grandmother used to sing this song. Thank you for the trip down memory lane. I guess plants are like people. Some are known for being dazzling beauties but most are there doing their thing in the woods whatever that may be.
