I cleared snow from the fallen tree just where this grouping is… I must have sat for 15,20 minutes… just taking in the fresh air, sunshine and bird activities. They were few today, even the squirrels seemed to be away on other business.

Through an open door
These days with everyone having to live often in isolation, or in a restricted “bubble”, we often sit behind closed doors. Today China gave us a view of the many moods that play through out the day as she whiles the hours away. She lives in a house of many doors Many days, she sits in her office with the door open, listening for the sounds of the crows, and other birds that fill the daytime skies…. at night she can watch the fireflies and listen for the crickets. We may feel alone at times, but we are NEVER alone. PL Precept # 11 Always be with God.
With one thought, “the World” will change.
Changing your way of thinking will make a difference on how you perceive the world.

A friend took this picture many years ago, he is someone who came into my life at a time I needed a special friend, he became that friend, His kindness, gentle heart and curiosity about life and relationships was heart warming and had great appeal. He showed me another side of friendship, one I had not explored before. He had a dedicated way of dealing with family/ life that was honest, I appreciated his energy in my life very much. He sent me this picture one day.. I loved it. Tucked it away, so that I would always have a reminder of the “freshness and beauty of/in new life ” that abides in our world.
The gentle kiss of the morning sun embrace the young shoots as they emerge from their sleep .. the melting snow that had blanketed their world, was now nourishing them with its sweet gentle liquid drops. From the harshness of winter & the sweet caresses’ of the soothing warmth in the morning sun, new life was raising up to meet the day. Love so pure, so beautiful, captured in that moment. For me, always to be remembered.
Love is not a dream, love is real.
The beauty of
There is beauty all around us, we have opportunities every day to wonder at the world we live in. It is hard at times to remember that life is good, and that there are new discoveries to be made very day. Stay positive!

There are 21 Precepts, each one will help guide us through our day to day lives.
In Ottawa we will now be able to resume Services on Sundays. This Sunday the 21st. we will hold service at 10 a.m. It will be the service/ceremony of Appreciation.
Please keep in mind, we ask that you come prepared with a mask, we have the necessary sanitizing washes which will be at the door, social distancing will be observed. Seating will be spaced accordingly.
Rev. Eugene or one of the Hokyoshi are always available to meet with you for personal consultations, by appointment please.

Moderation is also important. In the above instance, I was delighted to see that I was greeted with such a fun surprise, however, I was overwhelmed when I came into the house to find that every available flat surface was covered in these big hearts and even bigger balloon hearts hanging from the ceilings. It actually took me a day or two to accept that it was a generous and fun heart that exercised its creativity, and the intention was my happiness.
