me?

Wow… what a start to the day

you have no idea how simply amazing

it has been, to wake to so many birthday greetings

friends from far and wide, saying Happy Birthday!

You simply will not let me forget =^_^=

but then how could I, nor would I want to

you know why, cause each and every one of you

have touched my heart in so many ways.

remember when Q was making her Tiny clothes

I was a sweetie wasn’t I, we had so much fun

and all the waffles we ate, and the dancing! too much

yes, many of you have traveled the years with me

big or small, you all have the biggest hearts

and I am truly blessed to have lived

laughed and loved amongst you all

Nick and Mel, I hope to see you in the fall

Sept.17 may be my day of birth,

but to celebrate my life without you, it just wouldn’t be

as special and happy… as you dear friends, make everyday

a celebration,

with your sharing, caring, and special ways

of staying in touch, and living the chant of

Inspiration

To come across this colourful vignette

on the forest floor

the magical world was suddenly at my door

I could smell the moss and ferns,

the chirping of a bird music in my ears

I felt the inspiration swell into full bloom

It’s Monday…. oh dear…. the start of another week. Wonder what is on the agenda for today… last week seems so far away, Had I made plans, are my days all booked. Seems strange that last week, I thought this week was going to be clear … and I would have lots of time to explore.

The weather really doesn’t matter, I’m still left to ponder all on my own, of just what or how and when, this day will come to and end. The excitement of life comes from expressing our individuality. We are born with a one of a kind personality and individuality, or unique character, that is ours alone. In order to express our ourselves fully, it is important for us to live each moment to its fullest. With our out most makoto (sincerity)

There are times when we are faced with which or what path we want to be on. It really doesn’t matter if you go left or right, what matters that whatever you do, is what you want to do, and that you travel the path taking in each moment as best you can.

The 1st of the month we celebrate, Day of Peace. Today and everyday, let us, no matter where we are, work towards wold peace. What ever you decide to do today, do it well, if you have time, sit for a spell… and enjoy the day, give thanks for being part of a world that holds an abundance of love, joy and laughter, we need only cultivate it in our lives. Peace be with you.

What was, is…

Abandoned or forgotten, is there a difference…

On the 11th of each month, we in PL (Perfect Liberty) celebrate Ancestors Day,

with a special ceremony. Through this ceremony, we express our gratitude

for the love and virtues of our ancestors, asking that we ourselves, continue

to grow and learn to bring love and understanding to others in the world around us.

By now, most of you know I love to discover an old abandoned vehicle, and capture it

to enjoy and add to my Pinterest board, the neighbours I’m sure appreciate that i don’t

bring them home to display on the front lawn, or the back forty. Not all of them are left to the elements

some like the one above have been lovingly restored, and are happily on the road again.

We can do that with an object, but with a human heart, no……

Once the love and laughter is gone, and the body fails to carry on

we are left with an empty space, all that will remain is a memory in its place

Appreciate and love .. today…

In expressing appreciation to God in our daily lives, with sincerity (makoto)

we renew our determination to follow and practice a way of life that ensures

our memories and our quality of life in the moment, will be good ones.

Seek to retain focus in your faith and connection with God

Always – Forever

Why?

… look beyond the fear of the unknown…

the Universe is vast

NGC 6302 is a bipolar planetary nebula in the constellation Scorpius

mean anything to you, no not really

but it does exist, and it is part of our galaxy

look into my eyes, really look

what do you see, can you see beyond the eyes looking back at you

can you feel the invisible web that is weaving

and binding us closer and closer

do you see beyond the fear of the unknown

…we can speculate all we want…

the Universe is vast

and nothing in our past

will give explanation

to what is happening now

you and I, are endowed, we are

part of the spectrum of life

energies bound together by

similar wavelengths

our frequencies in tune

…we hum in harmony…

is there a real need

to know why?

God is everything, to see TAO in everything,

makes life the greatest adventure there is.

somethings simply are

one day, it simply happened

I looked up and there you were

obviously you had been there before

but .. somehow.. I missed seeing you there

nature has a way of reclaiming

what man has tried to take away

there is no tomorrow or yesterday

only today

one day you wake and find the floral essence of the bloom

enjoy it while it comes alive

for all too soon, the flower fades

to shrivel and begin its journey

to another space and time

no, not into the gloom

it has come, lived, and gone

no more no less

timing

Being in the right place at the right time, having your camera at the ready, and the lighting just what is needed to capture a moment in time.

When I saw this photo, taken by John Westrock, posted on Flickr, I thought, “what a good capture? and moved away, but something drew me back to look more closely. I must have contemplated on this picture for some time… I saw how the graffiti in the background sat like a halo over his head.

I wondered if the two shoes on his feet matched. Some how, I felt that this man was having a peaceful morning smoke and was contemplating life in his own way. I decided he was content just basking in his solitude.

Of course this is totally a fabrication of my own. I wasn’t there, I don’t know the man and have no idea just how long ago this was taken, or where it was taken.

What I do know is that the artist/photographer had a talent and a good eye to see what he did and click that shutter when he did. I thought I’d visit his page to see what else he had posted. Hellooooo.. not what I expected at all.

Timing, patience,total focus on the moment, these are the ingredients of a good capture, a moment caught in time, some are worthy saving, some are not. Some moments will change you forever…

So it is in our daily lives, I began my thoughts this morning with the 1st photo, that I now know was taken sometime in 2013, research and dedicated time to search precious moments, a luxury, no I don’t think so. I believe we owe it to ourselves to make each moment count, in a way that allows us at the end of the day to say, “thank you God” I had a wonderful day.

When we live practicing the Precepts and Principles of PL (Perfect Liberty) we grow to know that no matter what the day brings our way, we can deal with it, we can embrace the moment and learn just what it is about ourselves that caused that moment to take place.

In PL, there is a Precept, #7, Everything exists in Relativity – Precept # 11 is – Always be with God, two of my favourite meditations.

Timing

when we find ourselves truly embraced

and caught up in the moment

we often will find that we have come face to face

with an unspoken fear

and in that very moment

the fear is no longer buried by layers of the past

for you have recognized it, at last.
