migraine moments
the body’s message loud and clear, STOP, don’t move, lie down,close your eyes, focus on your breathing. Let the swirling debris of sediment settle fill the cracks, and allow the mind time to regroup and fall where it may.
STOP trying to introduce brilliant, vibrant and chaotic energy into the reality of NOW. There is a world of discovery at your feet, stop looking into the distance, there is a whole world to be discovered and rediscovered.
With all the negativity of late in the press, media and being spoken and conversed about…. my brain needed a change of venue.
I have a very special friend, who in introducing me to the America he knows, sent me a video that stirred my emotions and left me wanting more. I searched YouTube and found this video by Ann M. Wolf. Church service today is at 10 a.m. and I believe that Reverend Eugene is going to try to send out a video of same.
There will always be a way. If you persist and be creative without giving up, you will find solutions that you had not considered before.

the quarry
Where are the words. A lot of green. Blue open sky. Potential danger lurking in the vegetation. Crystal clear spring water. Overwhelming intake of visual woodland, rock,calcium deposits on dried moss, dense brush and over growth, poison ivy, snakes, and wild life that watches, waits, a sudden cloud, drops of rain, too much input on a mind that needed to zone.
I may have to work on today’s lesson.

Good Morning everyone, when you look out your window today, what do you see?
It is so easy to look and not see.. Think about it, you leave the house very day, sometimes to walk, sometimes you will drive, .. when you leave, are you looking at your surroundings, or thinking about where you are going.
I took out an old folding chair that had been tucked away out of sight and out of mind. When I opened it, I saw that the metal was rusted, and certainly was not appealing….my first thought was to give it away, it was still very functional, in fact it had been new when it was put out of sight.
On going out the side door to the laneway where I would take it to the curb (garbage day) or to my car to cart away, my eyes fell on an empty corner of the house. Where .. for years.. I have thought of having something there to sit on.. not for the view, it faces the garage and the wall of the house next door… I had just thought I’d like to sit there.. just never got around to doing anything.
I plunked the chair down, sat on it.. and looked around.. hmmm my wind wheel on the fence was spinnning with the breeze.. it was pretty. Then I noticed the vine I had planted when my new fence went in.. and and and. Yes suddenly I had a whole new “resting place”.. and it was cooler there in the shade of the house… the trees from my backyard were blocking any view of the neighbours in the back. Wow.. my little chair gave me a whole new “window” view…
A window view, is a whole new way of seeing a piece of life that you have yet to discover. Are you open to new discoveries.?..

It is much cooler in the wee world, where one can travel, play, explore and enjoy any temperature that pleases. along the mushroom trail is where you can find Q today, She is having a ME day.
Some days the greatest playground is the one that you can discover while never leaving home.
Be a person who can recognize the sincerity of others. When you put your whole heart into things you will be able to notice the sincere acts of others in the subtle things they do, and appreciate them that much more.

raw white honey? butter? crab meat with garlic mayo? creamy almond butter? First time to use my made in Italy pan I found at the thrift the other day. You can’t see it, but the outer pan is lazy baby blue.
Be thankful at the beginning and end of each day. Each and every one of your actions can inspire peace within your family, your community and the world around you. This peace will eventually help lead to world peace.
