Then and now… when we love … we love forever… I found this tree years ago, and every year since I planted it, I’ve watched it grow and spread its branches. I never tire of my appreciation for its presence in my life.
Let’s begin today with a smile. Let’s stat the day with a positive outlook, looking forward to what we can discover
Today in Canada it is Remembrance Day… at one time it was called Armistice day, Always we are faced with changes. how we handle them, is a reflection on our own personal philosophies. Being that it is also in PL the day we have a special service for honoring and offering appreciation for our ancestors, it is a very special day indeed.
Reminder in our area all commercial shops will be closed, opening only at 12:30 pm/ Federal and Provincial offices are closed, Due to circumstances, check local listings for what and how special services and Remembrance Day activities will be held, and where.
The past leads to now and now leads to the future. Life is an accumulation of moments. Cherish each one.
Your life is your very own unique work of art. If you cut corners or miss important details, you will not be able to live up to your fullest potential. If you fail to see what is important or miss a vital step, the value of your artistic life will be declined. It is important to put your heart into even the smallest of matters reminding yourself that each small amount accumulates into the whole of your artistic life.

To Live is to express One’s Self
PL Precept # 2
Did you know that the first founder of PL, Rev. Tokuharu Miki, was formerly a buddhis priest> In 1912, he met Rev Tkumitsu Kanada who instantly cured his chronic asthma through the “Sacred rite of Ofurikae” So profoundly affected was Rev. Tokubaru Miki he became his disciple. At that time in Japan, tuberculosis was one of the deadliest diseases, Rev Miki wanted to apply his learning and the principles of Rev. Kanada’s teachings in helping the young/old deal with this deadly disease that was taking so many lives.
There is much to learn from knowing our history, and appreciating the lessons learned by our ancestors. Tomorrow, the 11th. in all PL churches there will be a 10:a.m. service honoring our Ancestors’. Ancestors’ Day – the 11th of each month -a ceremony where we express our gratitude for the love and virtues of our ancestors and ask for their protection and guidance so we can continue to live the PL WAY.
The Universe is always looking out for you.. It may not be what you expect or want, but in the long and the short of it, eventually, you will recognize, or see that what IS, is meant to BE.
I received an e-mail earlier today with a lot of dog wisdom pictures/quotes. They came at a time when I needed to see and hear what was presented in the files he sent, I’m sharing a few with you now.
Good morning everyone.. last night ensuring I stayed off my leg so that I can safely go out this morning for an appointment, I treated myself to an evening of “tunes”.. like in the “old days” when I loved just kicking back and listening to music. Now with the internet and YouTube we can browse to our hearts content and find the musicians and music we want in as many flavours as we want. Here are two videos you can listen to if you are in the mood for some good sax…. =^_^=
Tell yourself “things happen” Even if something is inconvenient once you accept it, you’ll be able to move onto the next step

World Peace does not invite people just by praying… praying for peace is important, but let’s take concrete action. Efforts and sincere actions to create harmony, not only in the home but also in the workplace and community, will lead to world peace.
This is the tree I was pulling down when I hurt my leg.
A friend returned to the area, she obviously pulled it out of the area I had felled it in, and put it up against the tree on the other side of the feeding area. Friends are invaluable treasures!
It was my first time out on my own… I was careful, however, what did my day in was that when I got home I decided to do a wash (laundry) and had to do the stairs several times.. That gave my leg its last hurrah, it shoved back… it is now back in an upper brace, to assuage the swelling.. and I will rest and put it up to let it regain the steps it lost yesterday!!!
However the outing itself was “awesome” I loved the solitude and welcome silence of the woods as I entered. I was able to feel the freshness and smell the fallen leaves. This is my favourite time of year. The blue jay with his brilliant blue and white plumage came to the party, and sang his delight at finding the peanuts. They (the birds) didn’t reprimand, they were joyous in their acceptance of fresh seed.
Speaking of food, hmmm its breakfast time… =^_^=
Improve yourself to have a kinder heart. Do what you can to be caring and considerate to make others happy.
