together

a gathering

They lean against each other, enjoying the moment… each with his/her own thoughts.. knowing the weather is changing, wondering if they will last the winter.

It is important to be assertive, but maintaining harmony is just as important. Say what is on your mind clearly, but don’t be overly attached t your views, respect the points of view of others and always seek to find a happy medium.

Saying Goodbye

R.I.P

With gratitude and appreciation in our hearts, we say goodbye to a man who touched our lives in a way that with his passing left us with a profound grief, yet filled with a joy that his spirit will be with us always.

Life is art –

Perfect Liberty – Precept #1

Oshieoya-Sama (Master Takahito Miki) lived the PL Way, and through his example, we (each and every member) benefited. We said/say goodbye, but it is only at the loss of his physical presence, for he will live through the teachings of PL. PL teaches us that every day is a new beginning.

We must continue to strive to live as ONE with the Universe, and work towards World Peace.

What am I?

We are all collectors of one thing or another. This is another one of my “passions” It is part of my “love” of wood, and things old and rusted.

When taking on a task, start fresh without being biased or jumping to conclusions. When thinking is too rigid, you will be unable to deal with ideas in a flexible and constructive way. Always strive to look at things with a fresh mind.

Take on the task even though you’re busy. You are busy because you are needed. Actively positively and creatively juggle your time to fit the new task in .

bed rest

There is a time for activity and a time for rest. With the weather changes we’ve had I have succumbed to the dampness .. mild weather followed by deep chill, then back to spring temperatures has left me with a cranky body. My bones are protesting, my sinus is having hissy fits, overall, my assessment is that I need some bed rest. There comes a time when one needs to listen to the shrillness of the inner voice.

I did get a home visit this afternoon of puppy cuteness. My little furry niece who must be about 10 weeks old now came to visit her “cousins”. Talk about happy medicine. It was a short visit, enough to have me grinning from ear to ear.

this was two weeks ago..

I sat in the empty parking lot at one of the green spaces I go too. It is a trail for horseback riding, dogs on leashes and people on bikes or walking. It was quiet, a smaller area, not one frequented by the bird watchers and families with children. I just sat there, listening to the quiet, and gathering my thoughts. I know I’ve been pushing it.. I also know that it’s time to listen to my body and rest. Mother Nature will soon have the ground covered in a dense blanket of snow.. the vegetation will rest and regroup. The animals that do so, will hibernate. Why do “we” “humans” find it so difficult to slow down and REST.

My niece expressed surprise and concern when I said ” I’m enforcing “bed rest” “… No I’m not sick, nor do I want to get sick… so… knowing my body is tired, and I am mentally weary… (it happens) I am going to practice what I “preach”.. and R E S T. No one else can do this for me =^_^=

Your smile energizes the people around you. A smile has the ability to put others at ease and give them energy. Strive to be the first to offer a smile each day to those around you.

Be True to yourself… no matter how you try to make yourself appear differently, you can’t alter your self worth. Just be yourself, and freely express yourself without hesitation.

There is a message here, this is a time of the year that can be very “stressful” in/at the best of times. Don’t ignore the signs/symptoms .. don’t put off making time for YOU.

Imagine walking through the woods, hearing water, going to explore and discovering this site. Wow. A lot of beauty has been rediscovered this year with travel restricted to places closer to home, many are revisiting the greenspaces not far from their own “doorstep*”.

New encounters can help you change. Be up for anything even if its out of your comfort zone. This is a chance for you to improve yourself as a human being

Rhyolite

a secret hide-a-way

Deep within every forest is a hidden source of adventure. There are cavities in gnarled stumps, within rock walls, and under fallen trees. there is a world of woodland creatures both real and from the “underworld” of the “wee ones”. It takes years of practice and the strong desire to connect, but when we believe and persist, we are rewarded.

The earth’s connection to the regions of outer space can be found when we let our inner selves open to the vibrating energies that surround us when we walk softly amongst the trees. We must remain silent and vigilant, so that we can tune in to the frequency of “fantasy” that will naturally hook into our own force field.

No two human beings, share the same frequencies. There is an energy in every mineral, do you believe in the power of the precious and semi precious stones?

Today I was drawn to rhyolite, (a lava that can be found in volcanic areas, during the solidification process, gas bubbles are trapped inside and are filled by siliceous material such as quartz crystals, jaspers and other minerals. I found that interesting since recently I have been collecting Jasper which is the “green” form of Rhyolite and comes from Australia.

Rhyolite is an emotional balancer, it can clear away emotional wounds and scars from the past, nurtures love and stimulates clarity. Perfect for this season’s sharing. Yes… more to follow on this.

No one can take away the joy you get from putting your whole heart into something. The joy you feel when you’ve put your all into something is your and yours alone. Nobody can take that away from you.

rock/wire sculpture -Merrickville, On.Canada

There will always be a way. if you persist and be creative without giving up, you will find solutions that you had not considered before.

Prefect Liberty 2020.28

I have gone many times to Merrickville, but it was only on my last visit there that I came across this giraffe. I stood for some time looking at it, before I walked down the street to get a better look. Years ago I had attempted to do some sculptures with chicken wire, I know the effort and time I had to put in to accomplish what results I did get.

This tall imposing giraffe was a marvel to me. There were not that many people about that day, so I was able to stand and enjoy him/her for some time. The posture, the face, the use of the stones all came together so beautifully. I’m sorry now that I did not attempt to find the owner and perhaps the creator…. (note to self.. a revisit soon or when weather permits and the season is right.)

Begin each day with a renewed sense of appreciation. Always remember that you are here today thanks to God, and thanks to the many people around you. Let’s make each day meaningful by starting out with a feeling of gratitude.

efficiency gone wrong

Oophs.. click, click, really! in my efficiency I deleted and cleared out mail that I had in my IN folder, then I manually cleared out the deleted file. Like DUH. What did I have for supper.?? I read the incoming, but some I had left to return to, I wanted to reply, or comment. Sorry… I had good intentions however, my efficiency manager, took a wrong turn in the gray matter.

Flexibly adapt to changes. the world around you changes, and so do you. enjoy the transformations and deal with them flexibly.
