Here we are at the start of another work week, hopefully there will be news today on what is has been decided for our area. Both dogs are in serious need of nail trimming, the grooming of a dog is an important part of their “health maintence”.. especially for senior dogs who are hounds and do a lot of running. WE all need to be steady on our feet.. during winters here, it is not always without its challenges. (icy, slippery, uneven ground, even on pavement)… Let’s be aware, and stay Safe.
We are also aware that many in the community have been finding it even harder this year, with the on and off isolation rules/regulations etc. This week I had occasion to hunt up a UV light for someone, I had been told of the benefits these lights provide, and wanted one for someone who has moved into a new apartment which lacks the bright sunlight they had before in their previous location. Until doing the research and trying to locate one in the area, I had not realized they were as popular as they are. The pharmacy (drugstore) shelves were limited in product range, or sold out completely. I did find one thank you.. but I would be interested if any one out there has had experience with such therapy, if you would share how effective it was for you.
With a prayerful mind, put your heart into everything you do. Even when you’ve put in your best effort, you may have overlooked something. With a humble mind, take a second look to check for mistakes or oversights.

Instead of worrying do something about it. It doesn’t help to over think situations such as, What if this happens? or, “Things might end up that way” Instead be proactive and change how you see and do things in each situation.

Spending time with the birds means I get to see that they are not just a pretty face, they do have their own personalities within their “circle”. I don’t know how long you had to stand there to get this shot Kevin but thank you for sending it to me, its wonderful. This little guy is having his say….good on him. The other day when they were gathering to dine, they were very vocal that day… other days.. I don’t hear a “peep”.. not like the Blue Jays, who love to call out and shout to one and all.
Actually.. my new friends the crows are very good at vocalizing as well. Smiles to self, another “language” to learn..
On that note, I have noticed that we have many different readers now from all over the globe. Welcome! I am enjoying the introduction to the many new languages (to me) that are now part of my world, thank you for introducing me to your “culture” words and colourful stories /pictures.

Doors come in many sizes and colours, some are from the past, some are still being used today. Like the people who conceived them, used them, doors are all unique. When the shut down period is over I hope to get out to acquire more pictures. 🐱
Have a “let’s do it” attitude. Even if a t ask is difficult, keep in mind it is given by God and accomplish it.
They lean against each other, enjoying the moment… each with his/her own thoughts.. knowing the weather is changing, wondering if they will last the winter.
It is important to be assertive, but maintaining harmony is just as important. Say what is on your mind clearly, but don’t be overly attached t your views, respect the points of view of others and always seek to find a happy medium.

Life presents us with challenges/opportunities every day. Sometimes we hear the call, when we do, we can take it on, or do our best to ignore it. However, the top photo is what happens to the clutter in our minds, when we try to push aside, or put off, something that needs our attention.
What are we back to….. choices.. yup.. somethings won’t go away on their own, WE have to take a hard look, and put an action plan in place. Or it will become overwhelming.
Strive to overcome obstacles by changing your mind-frame. Things don’t always go as planned. When that happens, try changing how you look at the situation or how you are doing things. The outcome is in your hands.
It is only Natural that you are different from others. Each of us has our own way of thinking and our own individual lifestyle. That’s what makes life interesting.

Good Morning peelistas, Bom dia amigos! Do you ever feel that you are on your own path, not part of the “happening”… We are all unique! that is the beauty of being part of this Universe. My Mom used to make these little cuddly “bears” for charity. You would see her knitting away whenever she sat down to watch the telly. It was her “happy” place. The piglet I think was a gift to her.

You can learn from anyone. There is a limitation to your own knowledge and experience. Listen carefully and sincerely to others’ opinions.

Old pictures found while cleaning up.. My first base guitars. LOL.. you can see had I kept them…they would be vintage now. My Gibson on the right was a real thrill for me when I got it.. I looked for more pictures thought maybe I could find one with my knee high white leather boots… and psychedelic dress. LOL you were spared, no more pictures turned up.
You kidding. I wouldn’t know what to do if I had one now. Same as I no longer drive a stick shift. We change with the times…. I am grateful for all of my life experiences.. In PL we do our best to live in the NOW. Being present in our day to day .. means, we truly get to live each precious moment that comes our way.
No effort is ever wasted. Even if no one witnesses your actions, God is watching you. No matter how small your efforts, your Makoto (sincerity) will always be rewarded.
