Wandering the back roads with a friend is always so much more rewarding then when on my own. Today I made the trip to South Mountain with food for the food bank, after the “task” was done, we were free to wander where-ever the car took us
The quiet vistas we saw along the way, were soothing to the eyes. Living in the city where we are constantly being surrounded by the sounds of a vibrant growing urban sprawl, it was a delightful interlude. No sirens, no heavy traffic, tall buildings, over crowded streets, just the open roads, quaint little towns and wonderful farmland with acres of fields of soon to be table ready produce.
It was fun to discover new places of interest, and to learn more about our “selves” as we shared stories and memories of past adventures.
Remember today’s calendar ,PL day 12… “let’s begin today with a smile”.. I did and it continued through out the day. Friendships are so important. If you have not reached out in awhile to a friend you’ve missed.. now’s the time.. Most of us have had our vaccines, regulations are being relaxed, we still have to be prudent and take care. But… finally we can spend some quality time with a friend in person… What a joy!

Good morning everyone! What a wonderful day, overcast, rain, clouds, now is a prefect time to get out before the rain starts to come down in earnest. First I would like to share with you this wonderful collection of doors taken by one of my very best friends who surprised me this past year by asking me if she could show me her doors. Have known her for decades (yes plural) never knew she loved doors.!!! She had been catching up with my blogs and saw our Thursday Door feature. She told me “hey I have doors too, I love doors, can I share them with you?” You all know my response to that.. and I asked permission of her to share them all with you. =^_^=
