Charm of days gone by. There is so much to take in when you travel a back road. You have to know that you will not get anywhere fast, you simply accept the moments of discovery. This was the scene that beckoned loud enough for me to stop and actually get out. It is aged, tired and worn, but yet it is standing proud. Wind, snow, ice, rain, yes they have left their mark, but the place, for me , still had a quiet dignity. It stood, just off a paved road, but the surrounding land, was rich and bore the remnants of a bountiful crop.
I left today, open to the possibilities, and the Universe provided “seek and you shall find” PL Precept #1 Life is Art
The day was a happy one, and totally productive in a very creative way. I hope you enjoyed the same.

Day 15 – PL Calendar – Being attentive makes life more enjoyable.
Live life paying careful attention to every detail be it big or small. By doing so, you will be able to experience the subtle joy in things.
That said, I began the world with a visit to a long ago time, in a galaxy far far away. I now know what an ewok is. Cute little fellows, and very good warriors. The little story I read had them fighting biker scouts. Have to admit that I found that the biker scouts were interesting. Best of all I liked a character called Chewie. If you are a Star Wars fans you by now realize that this is a brand new world for me.
Golly Gee Mollie, where have I been =^_^= Goes to show we are never too old to learn about new galaxies, and the worlds that live in or on them.
I learned that there is a forest moon. How cool is that! The Ewok is small, furry and lives in the forest. Sigh every day is so exciting when you can learn about such amazing new characters ..there is such an incrediable amount of talent out there, I can’t wait to make new discoveries.
What about you, have you taken on anything new? Do you think about new ways to do things that you have being doing in a routine fashion? One of my upcoming challenges will be to do a character doll for the month of October, Doll Club meeting.
Challenge yourself, You have so much unused creativity, step outside your comfort zone, live life to the fullest. Can’t wait to read or hear about your adventures.

While out driving the other day. I reflected on that question myself. We are asked, at least I am, on a fairly regular basis. I was out driving the back roads, and needed to find my way, or get my bearings. After a while, the farm land was starting to all look the same. In other words I was getting weary, and needed a change. Searching the skies I saw a steeple off in the distance, in the countryside here, both in Quebec and Ontario, you can always count on a church steeple to guide you towards “civilization”
It was a peaceful day for me, and certainly the quiet appeal of the church sitting, basking in the sun, added to my “mood”. The manicured lawn and large paved entrance was a huge contrast to the visions I had been enjoying on the back roads. Another visual of the differences in life.
I am fine, thank you to all who have asked. Life IS different, my personal space has been reconfigured. To that end, all my past experiences, adventures, and lessons have served me well. Possibly the enormity of the change has not quiet fully dawned on me, but it is present. I feel it, and I do intellectually “know” it. So yes I am fine, but am I REALLY fine,I think it is too soon to tell. No one can predict the future. And, every day is NEW.
No two friendships are alike, therefore, how I am although influenced at times by my immediate circle of friends, changes, why, because at the core of it all is ME. And the secret I am sharing, is that Me, myself and I is constantly being kept busy with the help of the Universe, with reminders that I am never alone. Service yesterday at the church, where the ceremony of appreciation to our Ancestors and those who have helped us become who we are, was performed. For me was very calming and spiritually refreshing.
For that is a focused prayer of appreciation and thanks to all my family. friends, past and present who make me the person I am today. I like me, and I really and truly do appreciate each and every one of you, for you touch me in ways that transcend mortal definitions. Love is PEACE.

PL Day 12 Carry out what you believe in
Once you’ve prepared everything to the best of your ability seize any opportunity that comes your way, take action without hesitation. Express yourself to the fullest.
The world is not only full of colour, but provides us with an abundance of textures, variation on shades and so much more, Yes there is beauty in a flower, but the subtle shading of the vegetation that often is the back drop for a flower(s), is more lasting, and enduring. Changing with the season we can never be bored. We need to see beyond transient beauty. The icing though good, and often very pretty, would be nothing without the cake. It exists because of the cake.

Once more I saw the open doorway, showing me the path to the other side, this time I dared to wander closer.
There was a silence in the air, yet, there was a breeze and the bird (on the right) made a soft cooing sound as he flew by. His bright feathers so fitting against the blue skies
As I walked my feet made no sound, yet the grass beneath my feet was soft and lush.
The pathway was inviting, I gladly let it lead the way.
Around each corner a new discovery. Can you imagine my delight.
I felt rather than saw the light that seemed to guide me along through the growth that surrounded me on all side. I knew no fear, I felt content and aware of the life around me.
There was much to see and take in. Such creativity, such vision.
When I entered a great hall, I felt small, I was one of many to stand within the walls, I stood alone at that moment in time, yet in my heart I knew, I was not alone. I was surrounded by each and every one of you. See you are here now. . Just not at the moment I was there. (smiles and winks)
There is much to see, enjoy, learn, and share as we grow as human beings and wandering souls. Don’t be afraid to share and love the ALL that you are. Dreams are part of our reality. Whether you believe, or not.

It is a protected environment, and very special in a way that stands out in today’s world. The grounds are a real lawn, not artificial looking,( perfectly green, no weeds), it is a pleasure to walk on such a lovely patch of yesterday where it is left to nature and the squirrels and plant that live there. The mature trees around the grounds, allow only so much sunlight. A treasure for sure, a turn off a street, down a country lane, et voila!!!
Life is to be enjoyed, appreciate the beauty of the world, and the creative works of others who have spent lifetimes giving back to the world around them. LIFE IS ART. PL Precept #1 Life is Art

Iceland, so beautiful, so far away,
so natural so inviting, so far away,
5 a,m, here, now, the whole house is stirring there is nothing to do but get up and start the day.
Bom dia, bonjour, allo, there is no worries that there will be few hours in my day. I have plenty hours stretching out before me, no excuses to not getting more work done in the clearing up, cleaning out of my physical spaces.
Btw I have not cropped or changed the pictures, I am using them just the say my cousin Brian sent them to me. He and Jon are honeymooning, I get to reap the rewards of their wonderful pictures they travel from place to place. There is something to be said of the arm-chair traveller, no packing, no jostling at busy airports, no line ups, etc.. At some time or other we have all been there.
Oh dear I am going to have to look at just what is I that box on the top shelf. I am sure you have all had that experience too. Life is full of these little “treats” reminder to self.. Find the happy in all that you do, to change direction I thought I would go make the bed, There I discovered a big lump !

It is now going on seven, I have been successful in removing some of the clutter, but fear not, there is still more for me to do once I take this lot away. happy finding I found where I had put my sloth stamps away.

Travel down an old country road on a lazy afternoon just two old friends, out for a drive. A country lass and an urban miss. The old hydro lines are what caught my eye. We stopped so I could get a shot. We were not that far off the beaten track, yet, the fields of green, and the old lines, gave me a feeling of another time and place,.
Best of all I was with someone who had grown up in the country, and loved the fields of crops and the newly cut hay just as much as I did. We would sigh with contentment when we passed peaceful gathering of cows enjoying the shade of sprawling trees sheltered by outcrops of large boulders and rocks.
Too often I am traveling down a major highway or road to a destination, this was a just because drive. No deadline, no specific time frame, just a drive, with a stop for lunch at a marina along the way. talking was optional.
Be kind to yourself. Make time for you. Lazy summer days are few and far between when we live a busy lifestyle.
That day we had mostly sunshine, but the rain did fall, we got the black rolling clouds, and vivid display of lightning. Made our day complete. Have you ever smelled the lush green meadows after a rainfall? Experienced the return of the sun and clear blue skies after an explosive down pour. the change in temperatures during all this variety of weather. Mother Nature works her magic in very special ways.
Get out and enjoy the day, make today a special day.
