No matter the reason, this is a time when there is a lot of social “happenings’ Keep in mind that not everyone is in a position to celebrate, or can. More than ever we need to be aware of the world around us.
Energy springs from your smile. A smile makes you and others cheerful and energetic.

Reminder – tomorrow December the 5th, will be the first anniversary of our 3rd founder’s passing. There will be a special ceremony and service at the church at 10 a.m. If you are able to attend, please do so, otherwise offer a silent prayer from home. In Japan there will be a special ceremony at the SEICHI in honour of Osieoyasama.
When every door is given a special decoration – there isn’t a door in the house that isn’t showing off a beaming “happy holidays” decoration. The owners of this special haven get better and better each year at pulling together a look that shouts “HAPPY HOLIDAYS’ to everyone who passes by, or has the pleasure of an actual indoor tour.
Improve yourself to have a kinder heart. Do what you can to be caring and considerate to make others happy.

I am very blessed to have these two human beings in my life and consider them family. I’m so proud of what they do and the love they give to each and every little heart that comes into their lives.
Till soon. This is the month to shine with holiday decorations, but the love that we shine out to the world with our smiles/friendships is priceless.

In PL, the 1st of every month is celebrated as Day of Peace. Through this ceremony we pray for World Peace and dedicate ourselves to live as peaceful beings in our own worlds which includes our home, school, work and community. (PL members guide)
I posted these yesterday, but wanted to use them again today, why.. I stood for some time at the bridge looking at those two logs.. wondering how they got there, and if I wanted to move them.. errr.. it was a thought, I didn’t attempt to move them. They were wrapped in a light icing of ice… and I didn’t have on my Bogs (water boots) … eepps I can hear and see the fingers pointing, honest it was just a thought I did not attempt in any way shape or form to move the logs.. it will have to wait till spring now =^_^=
The fungus on the tree was another moment in time. I wanted to pull out my chair (it was in the trunk of my car) sit and just visit with the display. The fungi was growing out in a number of places on the one trunk. There was such a variety of shapes and colour patterns. Life is so colourful and textured!
The log end, I want to see its progress over the winter, how it will pretty up as the snow and ice build on it. Right now.. what little snow is there .. may or may not stay depending on the weather we get in the next while. However the ground does seem to be already settling into “frozen” mode.
Be free of your attachments. If you are obsessed with doing something in only a certain way, it narrows your choices. Keep your options open and be flexible.

Will the day ever come when I will not marvel at how wonderful the world is we live in. I hope not.
Guess who got out into the woods today… It was on the cool side, the water had a layer of ice on the top, snow lay in some areas, the chill was present. No matter, I loved it.
Do things joyfully. Instead of taking it easy. Enthusiastically engage with what’s in front of you. You’ll enjoy it more.
