Wednesday’s moment

Happy Wednesday everyone…. I was driving through a McDonald’s drive through for my ice coffee when I found myself beside a flowering hydrangea. Now I’ve gone past it often, but that day, it was changing into it’s fall colours. The summer white was giving way to the burnt peach/rust that will follow.

To remind you, this is what they look like in bloom early summer. This picture is from the bush on my front lawn. Hydrangea’s remind me of my Mother, she passed away last March, she was fond of the changing seasons, with each passing year of her time here on earth, she allowed nature to take its course, she would blossom in so many ways, it seemed to just happen. Whatever, whenever, she never lost her youthful glow, that came from within. Strength, determination, she held her ground.

This bush has been there for years, I always notice it, whether it is just its sculptured form during winter months, its fresh mint leaves come spring, or the first blossoms of another year.
My Mother is no longer here, but her presence is… When love is unconditional, no matter what… life/love combine, intertwine, harmonize.. like God it is everywhere, in everything we see and do. The sky is always there, weather can change, but the sky is always there.
Blessings my friends… may your world shine, love is everywhere…

To my delight when I looked out on the deck I saw that a plant we had been nurturing for the last couple of years had bloomed. Wow… I had no idea, I found the plant next to a dumpster in the West End, looking very pathetic, didn’t know what it was, but I saw it, and another plant that looked like a vine, Liked the look of them so brought them home.
Magical
This beautiful gal is one of the whippets we visited the other day. Look how amazing her colouring is. Her top coat a soft fawn, with a delightful pattern of dots showing through. There is something very humbling about how a dog will engage in an interaction with a human. She is standing here with her trainer, happy to share the limelight with him. Unconditional love.
Some doors, are simply necessary. required to gain access to a building for service or product. Other doors, also serve a similar need, but look very different, and what they deliver is often more philosophical, and/or spiritual.
We’ve had some time now to think about and mull over the “visitor” we have in our home. We didn’t go looking for our house guest, but then I don’t think that many people go in search of inviting cancer into their lives.
There is a hodge podge of this and that. nothing is planned, it just happens. A patch of flowers, different shapes, sizes and colours of greens all come together to allow for crickets and critters of various shapes and species to mingle and cross paths.
I’ve decided that cancer just didn’t happen, it found its way in, and was allowed to settle in grow and fester. Ownership has to be taken for this. Only in accepting this fact, can we move on and make friends with it. Find out what it will take for it to go away, and then work faithfully, and with dedicated purpose to ease it out of our lives.
Look carefully, there is a path. It is hidden if you just glance, but if you take your time and look … you will find a way, a path to follow. Life is always open to change. Prayer and faith are the most direct path in our connection/relationship to/with God/Universe. I believe that whatever the outcome, it will be what is best.
Cancer is a world changer, we are blessed that we found out in time, that it had come into our lives. Knowing, means that now we can work with the specialists and take the necessary steps to improve our lives, and work positively towards a healthier outlook and lifestyle.
