frost – musing

In silence I find myself transcending the NOW of the moment

To the vibrant energy of the forest trail

I see before me the portrait of the life on each leaf – in the textures of the tree bark

I am in awe at the way the frost paints a delicate lace on the landscape that surrounds me

Each picture perfect moment is etched in my consciousness

THIS is LOVE of the rarest kind – it removes the blindfold from my eyes

I am seeing the world again … not just with my eyes

but from the heart and soul of my BEing.

It was cold .. I’m layered with a long sleeve sweater, quilted vest an outer denim vest and then my rain jacket. Wild turkeys following my lead back to the feeding area. (7 a.m. ish)

Friday in October

Fall is such a special time of year, we all have different memories about this time of year. For me it is wandering the various back roads in “anywhere” I can get to. I thought this was a happy picture, hope it brings a smile to your day.

Good morning, when you see double numbers such as 10:10, the universe is practically shouting to get your attention… Love in abundance!!! With the fall colours right now you can feel the world is vibrant. if you have a guardian angel right now.. he/she is helping you with encouragement and confidence you need to explore territories and areas unknown to you. Sunday musings

Today I woke to a very cool morning. Cold .. in that it is only 40 something degrees F. which means it is cold enough to need a proper jacket if I am to get a walk in before church this morning. At 5 something it is also dark outside. the world might be bright with gold and crimson colours, but days are getting shorter… It is a more of an effort to jump up out from the warm comfort of the bed and make my way to the office/studio.

Inspiration will be that once up, I can share time with you before I actually leave the house .. drive to the woodlands, feed the birds, walk the bog (time permitting) and get to the church shortly after 9.. Service is at 10 a.m. Can you tell I am a morning person, Bom dia a todos!!!!

Express yourself clearly so others can understand you. When you can’t communicate clearly it can lead to problems. Always express yourself carefully to avoid any misunderstandings.

Oh could be a bit nippy out there, frost advisory over the next few days.. at 5:49 a.m it is 55 Degrees F, that’s not bad… It will be a good outing this morning.

Think “now is the Time” Instead of “It’s no use now” Don’t give up by thinking its too late. Tell yourself that there is more that can be done.

Already the Halloween festivities have started, get togethers, parties, all fun, here in Canada, this is our Thanksgiving . October is a very celebrated month… In the States Monday is Columbus day? I hope the weather is sunny and bright for us.. however, whatever happens, E N J O Y ….

This is a time to give thanks for all the blessings we have been given… show appreciation…. life is good when we are blessed with family and friends that care. a smile goes a long way!

Pillow Poem.. I had not heard that expression before. Another blogger used it as a heading for one of her poems she posted. It rather struck me as being rather appropriate for some of the musings and thoughts I have had over the years. We learn something new everyday, anyone else ever heard or used this saying?

Lately I have been having lots of talks, thoughts and dreams on my non existent pillow ( I detest them, can’t seem to find them comfortable in any way shape they come in….) I gave up years ago, I use a towel rolled up under my neck. omg am I hearing cranky in my tone… it is far too early … time to get out and into the woods.

Have a good day everyone. If you are lucky enough to live where the fall weather is colouring the leaves and the landscapes are brilliant with colour… enjoy!!
