It is easy to misinterpret the situation and jump to conclusions. Always have a humble attitude and double check to make sure.

We’ve had a warm spell, snow, rain, freezing rain, and now.. forecast is temperatures to dip back to more normal temps.. -11 degrees… fun! Be careful out there.
Hi everyone. I see I missed yesterday. What an upside down day it was. You have all been aware that I have had this nasty flu virus for the last month plus.. Some days barely able to even try to be social, never mind thinking of getting up and going out. The last week so much improvement, I even (as shown above) went into SL (Second Life) to do some photography using the two dogs I found for posing with. The internet world of Second life ( Second Life is a persistent, 3D virtual world where users, represented by customizable avatars, can socialize, create content, explore diverse virtual environments, and even conduct real-world economic activities, functioning as a vast online platform for entertainment, education, and community beyond a typical game. Launched by Linden Lab in 2003, it allows people to build virtual lives, own property, attend events like concerts, and interact through text or voice chat, offering extensive freedom for self-expression and digital ownership. ) is a wonderful “adult sitter” when we are confined at home dealing with a stubborn virus.
When you re not having fun, could it be because you rare being lazy?
Sometimes you feel blue or can’t seem to find the joy in doing anything. At times like this, just get up and move your body, or work your mind to the fullest extent.
PL2019.10
I went to church today, it was “Day of Appreciation” unfortunately I had to leave early, my body/mind said enough enough, I was getting overtired, it wasn’t even 10:30 a.m. yet. I excused myself and silently slipped away… came home and climbed back in to bed. I felt it was important to say “thank you” to the Universe, because…. even though I’m not 100% yet, I feel so much better.
How are you all doing? How is the year spinning for you so far? Do your best to stay healthy, stay home if you start feeling a cold/flu coming on, stay away from friends/family if they are sick.
Work well with everyone regardless of their age or position
The opinions of those who are younger may lead to new solutions, and we can always learn from the accumulated experiences of our elders.

Good Morning everyone…
The picture above, was taken by local nature photographer Dan Cadieux, https://www.instagram.com/dancadphotography I have known Dan now for many years, we run into each other in/on the nature trails in the area. He knows of my love and friendship with crows. He shared this picture with me, that he took a few years back. It was taken on a day when the temperatures were just above zero degrees, it was a fall morning, the wasps were semi-dormant…. his patience and quiet determination got him this great photo… Isn’t it fabulous. If you love nature, and like pictures that show case the nature around us, please give Dan’s photo gallery a look. He has a unique way of presenting his finds….. I’ve seen him lying in the mud on the side of the road * camera focused on a puddle where robins are bathing for hours if need be to get just the picture he wants… thanks Dan for sharing your amazing talent with us….

I am revamping one of my characters for a short story I’m doing.. When doing her face. I used a skin from a designer I don’t often use… I was getting ready to make changes when it struck me that the face looked very familiar to me. I know I’ve seen it many times but I can’t place the series she was on. So I left her face the way it was… and I’m building her character around the persona I’m getting from her. If by chance her appearance rings a bell .. could you let me know.. please. and thank you.
Now for today’s quote.
It is not fun to be stuck in one place
Instead of being captured by what’s in front of you, strive to broaden your horizons

Cheers everyone, have a great Sunday.

the character was middle aged , she was not the lead, but had a supporting role and was seen regularly. She was angular and thin just like the avatar you see above
It is no joke. The nasty germs are running wild. Time to stay in…. steam the room… drink lots of fluids, and stay warm, Thought I was doing so much better… Mother Nature, had different ideas… She has made it clear I’m not out of the woods. I have to stay quiet, and stay warm. I did forgo a much anticipated evening out Xmas eve.. BUT it wasn’t enough.. seems I have to lie low for a little longer. How are you doing? You managed to stay healthy ???
Make today a memorable day
Let’s try to put our whole heart into whatever we say or do, as our unique signature
PL2022.26
Today is just another moment in time.. Tomorrow is another day.
Snow covers the ground a beautiful blanket of white. Holiday music is heard every where we go. You ready for the season of holiday cheer and festive gatherings? Not to be a wet blanket, but it isn’t a holiday for everyone, please be aware of the hardships others may be facing.
Sincere condolences and prayers go out to the families that are facing the loss of a family member… or having to spend time in the health care facilities who are open 24/7. The support workers who work holiday and shifts, who can’t just stop what they are doing to celebrate. Hats off to the work crews who no matter what the day, night … if the weather decides to play havoc with travel, they are out working to keep our roads safe. Its not a party for everyone…
Work happily with good rhythm
If you take on your tasks willingly, you will enjoy the task and you may even be rewarded with a more positive outcome.
There is something comforting about looking out at a snow scene of undisturbed fallen snow against a hedge that is splattered with beautiful miniature snow sculptures.
To prepare for the cold and snow of today, yesterday the birds were busy storing up all the energy they could gather. Chickadees were gathered in numbers I’d not seen before… The “cafe” was a flurry of wings and chattering.. blue jays dive bombed the shelled peanuts, the squirrels had to really dodge the streaks of blue and eager beaks. Even the nuthatch came in numbers, not just one at a time… they went through four servings of butter bark in minutes.. It was a like a cafeteria line. Guests (human) were thrilled at the sight and smiling broadly when a chickadee would swing low and brush a glove or shoulder.
Nature is healing.

Today in PL is Ancestors’ Day, Service is at 10.a.m.
You know when you have someone’s undivided attention. You know when what you are saying is being processed and listened to, If when we engage in a conversation, the other party is simply replying to your statement/comment, or they really really want to know what your saying and what it means.
And… sometimes, we are the ones who are being superficial, we call out a greeting or make a comment, but we have not really meant to engage, we are just being polite.
Spending time with Gracie, the boxer you see above, reminded me of just how different it is to interact with a dog…. versus a feline friend. I couldn’t help but draw a comparison… to interactions one gets from a dog, versus a cat. And of course, that led me to thinking how indifferent humans can be with each other as well.
PL Precept # 12 Everything has a way according to its name.
PL Precept # 13 There is a way for men and a way for women,
This is a tricky one … a good topic for a round table discussion with Rev. Hiroki .. what do you think? In PL we are open and encourage participation in the interpretation of the Precepts and Principles … If you have thoughts you’d like to share, I’d love to hear them.
Have a good day everyone, Feil is watching and you know he won’t miss a trick….
