Life’s journey is never a super highway, it is full of unexpected stops, and detours along the way. Remember it is not the destination, but the journey itself that is rewarding. When we are faced with the unexpected, stop and appreciate the diversion, it is happening for a reason. The details might not be clear to you at the time, but if we believe, and have faith, God/Universe will see us through. Love is unconditional. Love sometimes is having to be different. Let Go… Let God.

Don’t Hold Anything Back
Give it Your All (PL Calendar day 16)
Always approach things with full enthusiasm and energy. Then things will develop in a new direction.
When I started my magic pony, I was not wanting, nor had I any thought of a pony I was working my water-colour paints in a way I would usually work my acrylics. The more I seemed to try to go in one direction, the more the paints pulled me in another. Finally I just stopped, stood back and stared at the page. That is when I took the picture I used yesterday. I could see this face looking at me, and it said “My Little Pony” What???? I remember seeing these pink ponies in the toy section of various shops. Of no interest to me. Nope, not into pink ponies.
OK, I decided to ignore it.. and leave it overnight. Hello.. next morning the face I saw was still there. Since I have learned over the years, that if I see something and it doesn’t go away, if I tried to obstruct or force another direction.. the results would be a disaster .. meaning I wouldn’t like it, and it would be a “garbage” page.
We learn from our mistakes. If I was to give it my all, then I needed to follow my instinct, so what if it didn’t pan out, it wasn’t going to anyway. So.. I played with it till the words/feeling was to “stop” Now I’ve put it aside, and we will see if I am called back to it or not. Meanwhile I have my “magic” or “fantasy” pony.
Life is. The little face makes me smile. Go figure.
Friday the 16th. Live it to the fullest. Make it count.

This sculpture gave me such a sense of “fun and freedom” when I saw it. I have had it in my picture library for some time, and do not recall where I got it. If anyone is aware of the artist, please let me know.
On the 11th. we celebrate our ancestors. Through this ceremony we express our gratitude for the love and virtues of our ancestors, asking for continued guidance and protection that we may continue to live the PL “Way”
There are days, when Mother Nature provides us with a magical world, at such times I feel so alive, so blessed . Cherish each moment, we only live them once.

What a difference a day makes.
I used to suggest to clients that keeping a journal, even if it was sentence, or a word to express how they/you felt at that moment, or about the day. Not everyone likes to write, or wants more words.
Since in PL, (Perfect Liberty) we say, “Life is art” (Precept #1) I began to suggest if not a word, a sketch, or picture, something doodled. It doesn’t really matter, no one will see or read what is written, unless you share. It is for YOU from YOU.
At the time, it seems insignificant, but that simple “action” leads to appreciation and gratitude. As the days progress (nights) something beautiful starts to happen, you see what “was” in such a different light. No two days are the same. Never. Moments cannot be relived.
Even if I end up adding only one bit of shading or colour tonight, this little card will have another dimension. AND yes, even if I don’t get to do anything with the card, today, tomorrow or the day after, I will SEE the card differently with each passing day.
A”story” of my own making….. Happy sunshine, and many creative opportunities be afforded you today. If it is evening when you read this, may you be blessed with a contentment of peace in your sleep.
