Most of the shadows of this life are caused by our standing in our own sunshine. (Ralph Waldo Emerson)
It’s easy to place the blame on others and society for the problems you encounter in life. But you are the one with the power to change the outcome. (PL2019.28)

Looks innocent enough. It is actually beautiful and inviting. However what you don’t see the vicious insect population that is just lying in wait for the delicious taste human flesh and the intoxicating blood that they can feed on. The extreme weather we have been having, very hot, humid and sometimes very wet weather, has been a challenge if you go out into the woods on a regular basis.
Even layered in clothes and wearing hat with netting, you are not safe, they find a way to get at you I had hoped to avoid chemical sprays/lotions and such, but … the itching, swelling welts mean having to take an antihistamine .. so either way, I have to use a pharmaceutical product. There is the option that I can stay a prisoner in my home.. not go out till the biting insect season lets up.. But .. then I miss being outdoors where I can enjoy the wildlife etc. … Choices, eh!
Let’s work towards our goals while keeping a clear vision of what we hope to achieve. Your strong conviction and Makoto(sincere effort) will help drive you towards accomplishing what you set out to do. (PL 2014.2)
Common sense.. but a reminder anyway, there are public washrooms in the way of small stand alone huts. At this time of year, be careful, you are exposing sensitive areas of your body . .. the ninja biters attack .. Use with caution. Just saying.

With the extreme heat and humidity… its been a time to retreat to find places where it is cool, inviting and refreshing. Even friends who usually love and can’t get enough of the warm sunny days, are taking a break from being outdoors. Be safe. if you need to be outdoors, drink a lot of water, stay hydrated. Enjoy mini breaks in the shade, pace yourself. Even the animals, they wander and forage early, so they can retire to the safety of their dens/homes.. when the heat takes hold.
PL Precept # 7 Everything exists in relativity.
The world we live in, is ever changing. Stay in tune with these changes…. learn to deal with them proactively.

No matter where you go, how far you travel, how many state lines you cross/provinces you visit… you will always be alone with your thoughts.
* a reminder for you – – Waist or Waste..
By misunderstanding the key to freedom, it becomes an anchor.
Value your intuition. When you suddenly have an “A-Ha!” moment, or when a thought pops into your mind.. Act on it right away. (PL2014.19)

If I stay very still…. the moment will pass
If you are content with the status quo, your progress will stop. Always seek for ways to improve yourself and continue to move forward one step at a time.
The moment will pass, yes.. but you are still in the same place, facing the same dilemma. The only constant in life is change. Accept the challenge/opportunity and move on. Letting go is not always easy, but it is progress.

The bigger the task, the more your convictions are tested. When ever you are undertaking a huge task, you may encounter resistance, Don’t give up, and let your strong resolve carry you to completion. (PL2014.17)

Be creative in your efforts. If something is not going well, take a step back and look at how you are tackling the problem. There is sure to be something you can improve on. (P:2014.16)
