August 1. in PL. is Founder’s Day. (Kyosoai) Through this special ceremony we honor the spirits of the first and second founders and dedicate ourselves to spreading and sharing the PL faith with others for the rapid realization of World Peace.

In the past I’ve been in Japan for this ceremony, it is followed by huge fireworks… this will not take place this year. (the fireworks) However, for those who can make it, we will have a service tomorrow at 7 pm.

I woke to find you gone, the dim light from the early morning dawn was peaking through the freshly washed curtains…

The sun would be up soon, shining brightly on the brand new day…. the colours of the day, the outdoor activities will begin, there will be a a cache of memories to bolster my spirits ….

your footsteps, the timber of your voice, they are not here … last night when the thunder rolled through the skies…. I reached over to feel your strength, I listened for your heart beat….

a lone tear slid silently from my eyes, shutting them, does not hold back the moment of utter grief that can overwhelm and fill me with a total sense of loss…

I will be fine, the cadence of the day will remind me of the fun, the joy and laughter… the image of this moment, will fade away ….

The silver moonlight, will always filter through the rainbow of colours that create the landscapes of the day…..

The above photo was taken by a friend in NZ Shirley Keen, we go back so far, I doubt even she remembers when we began to correspond. She lives in a part of the world I have never been to, her walks, and the wonderful pictures she share from her walks and day trips .. are amazing. Thursday doors

I wish I had found this one, but alas, it came to me by way of a dear friend who know of my “love” of doors and such. To all my fellow writers out there, doesn’t this just grab at your “imagination” tug at a bygone feeling that hasn’t quite disappeared from your box of “shadows”

There is something so tangible so totally “earthy” in natural product.. in this picture the wood. I can even imagine the smell of the wood in the heat of summer, and feel the cool hardness in winter. What a “wow” moment it had to have been for the photographer who captured this frame.. my thanks to the “gods” to have kept it safe all these years and to MC for sending it to me so I could share it with you all today.

Don’t hold anything back; give it your all. Always approach things with full enthusiasm and energy. Then, things will develop in a new direction.

engulfed in the constant unrelenting heat

you search for the open skies and the welcoming spray of the ocean waves

finally you find a place where the gentle breeze is playfully caressing the trees, a woodpecker is feeding on the tree, the floral scents are wafting over your senses

think carefully of what you will do and say each day, be grateful, appreciate the many splendours of what this world has to offer. We see a lot, hear a lot, there is no denying that there is a bombardment of endless uncomfortable atmospheric mass of unpleasant and uncomfortable energy that is at times out of control.

WE must find the peace, the quiet, the natural nurturing environment of clear skies, fresh growth, and take the path(s) that lead out of the negativity and back into the light of love, peace, and gratitude.

It is important to say “Thank You” Everything that appears in front of you is all material for you to improve yourself, whether its food, people, or things. Learn to accept everything whether it is something you like or not.
