It is no joke. The nasty germs are running wild. Time to stay in…. steam the room… drink lots of fluids, and stay warm, Thought I was doing so much better… Mother Nature, had different ideas… She has made it clear I’m not out of the woods. I have to stay quiet, and stay warm. I did forgo a much anticipated evening out Xmas eve.. BUT it wasn’t enough.. seems I have to lie low for a little longer. How are you doing? You managed to stay healthy ???
Make today a memorable day
Let’s try to put our whole heart into whatever we say or do, as our unique signature

When the “boyz” decorate, they don’t fool around, these are just a few of the trees that decorate their home during the holidays.

I usually go out to take pictures after they are set up…. this will all be enjoyed with their annual New Year’s “come visit” party…I have watched as every year, a new year or new theme gets added.. Even the exterior of the home is festive bringing a smile to all who drive by …Believe on cold dreary days travelling through the snowy challenges.. Canadian winters can offer up… seeing this festive display shining out at you never fails to bring smiles and cheer a traveller on their way. (promise more pictures soon)
This year I have been visited by a persistent flu germ…. what a nuisance, It is visiting the least patient of humans… its been an unwelcome guest for weeks. leaving me tired and uninterested in simply everything. How are you doing? We are days away from the jolly holiday …you ready?
If you are going to do it, do it joyfully
If you have to do something, choose to do it with joy and enthusiasm. By doing so you will experience a deeper sense of beauty.

Time for parties, dancing, good music, everyone dressing up, strutting their holiday costumes, it was nice to see everyone sharing in a couple of hours of Holiday music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ag8tA_ycIrQ

The path to achievement is “to start with what you can do”
Try to find out what you can do towards challenges in your own situation. This will pave the way for achievement.

Have you been naughty or nice… ? … a little of both makes for an interesting moment in time.

People gather, party, dance, share moments of simply enjoying music and friendships.. This is the time of year people are out and about more than they usually are… make sure to enjoy the season, share your smile. It is also the time of quiet reflection. Whatever you decide, it is your decision.
“Is there anything I can help with?”
Enjoy a feeling of happiness to contribute to those around you. It will give you confidence that you have something you can do for others,

Expecting too much leads to dissatisfaction
When you expect things to go exactly as you’ve planned, it limits your creative expression. Always be mindful of others and remember that they have their own way of thinking and doing things, too.

Stay warm, stay safe.

There is something comforting about looking out at a snow scene of undisturbed fallen snow against a hedge that is splattered with beautiful miniature snow sculptures.
To prepare for the cold and snow of today, yesterday the birds were busy storing up all the energy they could gather. Chickadees were gathered in numbers I’d not seen before… The “cafe” was a flurry of wings and chattering.. blue jays dive bombed the shelled peanuts, the squirrels had to really dodge the streaks of blue and eager beaks. Even the nuthatch came in numbers, not just one at a time… they went through four servings of butter bark in minutes.. It was a like a cafeteria line. Guests (human) were thrilled at the sight and smiling broadly when a chickadee would swing low and brush a glove or shoulder.
Nature is healing.
