Wood
Wood – I marvel at how it ages
Would I …. Could I
Who knows, If I don’t try, I’ll never know.
yes, I’ll try … why … because,
if the possibility comes into my head
then an inner voice, is prompting me (intuition)
PL Precept # 19 Begin once you perceive.
Wood – yes it holds a fascination
Its life, its journey is there for all to see
Each person who sees it
Will see it in his/her own unique way (if they see it at all)*
With that I’m off to start my day
Would you, if you could?
** countless people have handled and walked on or over that plank, its been used, over and over again, doubt that its been thanked. In my lessons on walking softly, I am learning to appreciate all that is around me. could each step, each plank I use, become a prayer…

for some reason the camera is acting finicky… half of the pictures taken the other day were not focused properly, I recall having trouble with the adjustments at the time.. of course its when I get home and upload them that I see just how wonky some of them turned out. The blue jays don’t strike me as being crisp… but.. and I do see the little chippy.

Turtle rescue – one of the regular hikers .. found a turtle on the paved road.. it was very dry and far from water. He picked it up and carried it to a body of water.. (2 km. further down the road)
Tell yourself “things happen” Even if something is inconvenient, once you accept it you’ll be able to move onto the next step.

I prayed, I reached out, the Universe provided. the power of prayer is amazing.
This tree in the woodlands on a trail I frequent, stands tall .. towering over the other trees, I can always see it in the distance as I make my way on the trail. I was struck with how it just seems to float in the sky, I’ve taken a picture of it almost every time I am there. This obviously means I have lots of pictures of it against the sky, yet I never seem to share this view when I sit down to visit with you.
Face each moment, each place with a fresh outlook. If you handle a situation with preconceived notions or prejudices, your judgement will be clouded. Take on each situation with a blank slate, as if seeing it for the first time.

Do you find yourself, waiting, hoping that yesterday will somehow reappear?
