think, now

Think “Now is the time” Instead of “it’s no use now”. don’t give up by thinking it’s too late. Tell yourself that there is more that can be done.

Have you noticed that late fall, early winter, there is a quiet that falls over the woodlands as it adapts to its nakedness. Without the camouflage of foliage we see the true “bones” of the forest. Driving along the road if we drive slowly and look down between the rows and isles of the growth, we see “paths” and “possibilities” that we don’t get to enjoy in the spring, summer months. Every season has its “reason”

timing

The best timing is when you notice…. When you notice something, it is God sending you a message. Act right away so you don’t miss good timing.

Taken from inside my car the other day, they are waiting for me to finish putting out the feed.

Have a great day everyone!

Action without thinking

Taking action without thinking too hard. No matter how hard you try to foresee the future, you really don’t know how things will turn out. Do your best and see how it plays out

(When busy) Don’t you feel like you’re always being chased by work, saying and “if you don’t do that” or “if you don’t do t his..” The more work you do, the more fulfilling your time.

Your smile is what is needed. A smile invites happiness and cheer and is essential to energize others as well as yourself.

Perfect Liberty 2022.3

Yesterday a friend called who had just been told one of his/her parental units had covid. Symptoms were mild, never-the-less it was confirmed it was covid. The parent had both vaccines and the booster, never-the-less it was concerning. In PL. we try to accept everything that happens to us and around us, as a way to reinforce a positive way of creatively dealing with opportunities that come our way.

In the last couple of years we have been “reacting” to the word “covid” and any and all other references to this “disease” in our atmosphere. It isn’t always easy to be and stay positive.. but it is in being positive and appreciative that we will make changes that will benefit all of mankind.

Personally, I have learned to come to terms with negativity that has shadowed my world for some time. Time has opened my eyes to the knowledge that there are circumstances that are beyond my control or my ability to “fix”. Any change that is going to happen has to begin with “me” and my behaviour.

Love is a word that is brandied around and used for all kinds of reasons, people, places and things. is it a verb or a noun??? An emotion? a feeling? how many times in a day do you use the word, and how many times while using the word are you filled with passion, contentment, pleasure, joy and happiness.

How many of us live in a world filled with love – yet feel we are in a vacuum, or are totally alone even if we are in a room full of people.

When I read today’s calendar ” your smile is what’s needed”….. yes, I agree, but anyone can smile, you can mechanically make your face smile. what I want to know is do you feel it.. When you smile are you happy.

Covid is a word. It has history, it has meaning, but it is a word. If we don’t want to be cold when we go out in the Canadian winter, we wear appropriate clothes… If its raining and we don’t want to get wet, we bring along an umbrella. If my mate is hungry and wants to eat, it doesn’t mean that I’m hungry and need to eat. We are all individuals and unique in our needs/wants etc. It is important to recognize and realize that the same applies to how we respond to words that are used.

Feeder response

It seems that it is a matter of supply.. they have been unable so far to obtain feed for the feeder that I am asking about. And to add to the frustration of the day, I saw the reply to me, read it, and thought i had forwarded it to my active e-mail address.. guess what.. it didn’t happen. and now I cannot find the reply to respond to the person who wrote me. sigh… time for a coffee break..

Let’s respond clearly. Giving a proper response shows consideration towards others.

Crows.. yes!!! my crows are back….

I delight at spending time with them. I pull up and maybe there is one crow in sight, by the time I’ve turned in and parked…. they have begun to gather. They are not trusting of my big honking Nikon, so I pull out the trusty cell… and get a few snaps in before they wise up to my ruse.

Be very careful about doing things you really like. Do everything in moderation. When you overdo, you’ll lose your balance.

winter 12.24

Sarsaparilla Trail, cold and quiet this morning, came across another photographer who was intent on trying to get a Pileated woodpecker that simply was not interested in being distracted.

I was looking for a picture to use for a holiday greeting…. I was so enthralled with my walk through the forest, that his red head will do for the holiday colour. After all, the blessing of the day will be my trip into the woodland, the peace and quiet that I found there.

Someone has shared/his/her talent with everyone, and put a homemade food “hut” out so that the seed will stay dry during our often wet/cold/freezing rain/snow and ice that comes to us over the winter.

May the spirit of the season, bring many hours of joy and happiness to you and your loved ones. Stay warm and dry. Be safe! Blessings of the season!

[Laziness] No matter how hardworking you are, you can call yourself lazy if you put off doing what you have to do because it’s troublesome or put off doing what you like first. What remains after being lazy such as “later…” is a pile of difficult problems that make you mentally tired every day. Isn’t it piled up with difficult problems? Let’s make each one interesting and enjoyable. Perfect Liberty 2021.12.24 (translated in Japan to English.)

With one thought, “the world” will change, changing your way of thinking will make a difference on how you perceive the world.
