I wanted to put a little santa hat on him, but he wasn’t having anything to do with that idea. Still .. he is my emissary today.. I’m off to feed he and his fellow woodland friends their holiday breakfast. Much joy and happiness in all you do today. Make lots of memories!

Today there were many pictures of cardinals and blue jays against the snowy background that is now our backdrop till sometime in early next year. Local birders and nature photographers have been enjoying the flash of colour against the fresh fallen snow …

In life we hurry, from place to place, task to task, cross another item off the to do list. We are in constant, “moving” mode. Sometimes in life we NEED to slow down, we NEED that moment of QUIET. Have you had yours today.
At first glance the old buildings used disused, empty, but when I stopped to actually look, I saw that indeed there was life, the place was being enjoyed, Being in the NOW is what will keep you grounded.
Experience the joy of change. It is truly amazing when you look back at yourself this year compared to last year or today compared to yesterday and realize how much you have improved and changed. PL 2016.30
See the 2nd from the left, last row. That is the Li Ho Restaurant, it was a rocking juke box dance hall at one time, I won my first jitterbug/jive contests there a “few” moons ago. Smiles.. time was.. memories are always interesting,…. Now driving into an empty parking lot ..not another car insight, just the birds watching from the trees and the squirrels scampering to be first to greet me .. that.. is powerful. When the Ravens call down, even more thrilling.

PL Precept #18 Each moment is a turning point
The mounds you see are chip-wood, or mulch if you will. I tried to get a picture of the haze that was happening over them. If you are able to close in, I hope you will see the steam. Very interesting. When we stop to enjoy, we see “LIFE” happening.. =^_^=
