Last night when I was clearing the deck it was light and fluffy. This morning, you can see it is heavy and wet. I also note the difference, top picture taken with my Canon (Power shot SX730HS) and this morning’s offerings were taken with my Huawei P20… I love my Huawei =^_^=

PL Thanksgiving Service (monthly on the 21st ) will commence at 7 pm. If you are unable to attend, please join us from home. We, members humbly express our appreciation to God for all the blessings of the past month and sincerely ask to be guided in the coming month. It is important, to renew our determination to follow and practice the teachings of PL. PL Precept # 11 Always be with God.
I will live with a mind of appreciation towards others and things.

Try putting yourself in the other person’s shoes. Put aside your own convenience for the moment and think about what would make the other person happy or what would best serve their needs.
what busy bird(s) came by and left its mark while having a tasty slice of treethese little devils I just discovered love stucco too..! there are a few in the neighbourhood who are wrecking havoc on my neighbour’s new home. The little beggar(s) comes daily to dine … the upper corner of the house, right under the eaves. I’ve never seen the like. so far nothing he(neighbour) has done has deterred the bird(s) from coming to dine.
What can give artistic pleasure to see the designs of “age” ” on an aging tree standing in the forest, does not incur the same reaction when the same craving for food and substance is applied to a home in an urban setting.
In Taoist philosophy, and in PL, there are always two sides to a coin, there is a positive/negative… just look at your hand, there is a top/bottom. the two are ONE. some difference are readily accepted, they just are. no more…no less. Your hand would not be whole without the top/bottom.
It is only natural that you are different from others. Each of us has our own way of thinking and our own individual lifestyles. That’s what makes life interesting.

I had a sculpture (still have) on the roof outside the back porch, the same little “beggar(s) ” kept coming back, nothing I did deterred it. now I have a male head(bust) with many “openings” guarding my property. Totally unique and different. =^_^=
once useful, now scattered and left askew, doing nothing useful, just taking up spacethis wonderful derelict I couldn’t ignore, I so hope someday, someone will adore it by restoring it.
Life presents us with challenges/opportunities every day. Sometimes we hear the call, when we do, we can take it on, or do our best to ignore it. However, the top photo is what happens to the clutter in our minds, when we try to push aside, or put off, something that needs our attention.
What are we back to….. choices.. yup.. somethings won’t go away on their own, WE have to take a hard look, and put an action plan in place. Or it will become overwhelming.
Strive to overcome obstacles by changing your mind-frame. Things don’t always go as planned. When that happens, try changing how you look at the situation or how you are doing things. The outcome is in your hands.
It is important to be assertive, but maintaining harmony is just as important. Say what is on your mind clearly, but don’t be overly attached to your views. Respect the points of view of others and always seek to find a happy medium,

I see personalities in each tree I meet. Depending on the time of day, where the sun is, how the shadows play on their textured bark…I’ve never come across a tree that I haven’t liked. Humans are the same. =^_^= some are easier to spend time with then others…. but everyone has the potential of being someone you can learn from, share with, and yes, even be friends with.
Learn to be a person who welcomes change, appreciate the journey you’ve been on. Life is to be lived.
Offer your service instead of expecting from others. Take the initiative to do what you can to help others. Understand their needs and act swiftly.

At first when I saw this picture, I thought “nothing like being caught between a rock and a hard place” The second thought that came to mind was ” a rose between two thorns” Still I’m not decided.. but I am attracted to this shot. What do you see, what comes to your mind?

Today November 11 is also Remembrance Day in Canada, fitting that for us, in PL, it is Ancestors’ Day.
Just when I thought I had all the leaves… I noticed tonight when I let the dogs out.. that “oh NO! more leaves to fall”! How on earth did I not see them the other day… Goes to show me that I am not as observant as I think I am! This little corner got completely missed.
I must admit tho’ that I found the little vignette rather pretty. I even came back into the house to collect my camera.

Tomorrow, is the 11th of November, in PL we will be doing the Ancestors Day service at 10:a.m.
Looking for a covered bridge, found one.. just not in the state I expected to find it in. It is a bridge, and it is covered. =^_^=. We were over on the Quebec side today, no sitting in restaurants, had to order and take food out. We also discovered the deer hunting season has begun. (unhappy face)
Wandered off the road, following animal tracks, the vegetation shows where they cross into the woodlands. it was a beautiful day. I stood still hidden by the brush and enjoyed the quiet and the peacefulness of the landscape. What a joy and blessing to live in a country where I can still visit and enjoy such wonders.
Enjoy the moment while you wait. Things come about when they re meant to happen. Think o what you an do for the time being, and don’t rush the outcome.
