alexandria 8.4.e Travel down an old country road on a lazy afternoon just two old friends, out for a drive. A country lass and an urban miss. The old hydro lines are what caught my eye. We stopped so I could get a shot. We were not that far off the beaten track, yet, the fields of green, and the old lines, gave me a feeling of another time and place,.

Best of all I was with someone who had grown up in the country, and loved the fields of crops and the newly cut hay just as much as I did. We would sigh with contentment when we passed peaceful gathering of cows enjoying the shade of sprawling trees sheltered by outcrops of large boulders and rocks.

Too often I am traveling down a major highway or road to a destination, this was a just because drive. No deadline, no specific time frame, just a drive, with a stop for lunch at a marina along the way. talking was optional.

alexandrria 8,4,18 Be kind to yourself. Make time for you. Lazy summer days are few and far between when we live a busy lifestyle.

That day we had mostly sunshine, but the rain did fall, we got the black rolling clouds, and vivid display of lightning. Made our day complete. Have you ever smelled the lush green meadows after a rainfall? Experienced the return of the sun and clear blue skies after an explosive down pour. the change in temperatures during all this variety of weather. Mother Nature works her magic in very special ways.

Get out and enjoy the day, make today a special day.

avatars that were in a virtual world. why. to be there to respond to needs of the community that expressed interest in learning more about living the PL way. I have come to realize that there are not that many places one can go, where it is drama/stress free.

Unfortunately these young men were assigned back to Japan the dream of exploring a new frontier went with them.

Unable at the time to get in to explore, and get to know more of the creative spirits inworld, I had to bench my idea of expanding the church philosophy via a venue that spans world wide.

The world is now full of gamers, I doubt I could count all the platforms. Hours are spent each day on one platform or another, whether in war games, sci fi, or social media. I noted on the telly the other day that there is even a series that is a take off on the alternate realities.(worlds) Many people are deciding that they prefer the virtual worlds, where they can select and change their worlds including meeting more people who share in their “vision” of what living in a world should be like.

Technology allows us to do a lot of things we couldn’t do in years gone by, however, what remains constant is “change” in the world we live in and the ones we gravitate towards.

We are never dissociate ourselves from the ONENESS of the UNIVERSE from that we cannot hide or escape Where ever you go, in any dimension, you will always be you. We cannot escape our “selves” we can’t even hide.. we can try to avoid or ignore, but always what IS will BE

Forever is today.

What ever you do, where ever you are. BE present. There will always be opportunities to explore, be yourself, in whatever “role” you play or take on for that day.

The young ministers have been given different assignments, both are now married and in totally new environments, yet they will always be themselves, all past experiences will be part and parcel of the men they are today,

When we live with pure intentions, there are not regrets the lessons we learn bring wisdom in following years.

you have heard the expression ‘pretty as a picture’ this sure appealed to me, when I saw it on our Japanese calendar I took a photo and used it for one of my blogs

That was a while ago, and today if you ask me what it says…. I have no idea… I would have at the time because someone would have translated it for me.

Yesterday, during service, while everyone was taking in the moment, I felt a ~current of change~ while I still was aware of all that was going on and being said, a part of me-disassociated. I don’t know how else to describe it. It was much like revisiting the above picture, knowing it, knowing I liked the sentiment, but what it was escaping saying me.

Usually I would have shared this with members, but for some unknown reason (to me) then, and still now, I fell silent. That silence stayed with me for over an hour. I interacted yes, but that niggling feeling remained, disappearing only after I got home.

It like being connected and being disconnected at the same time.

I saw today

visions that danced before my eyes

flowers PA7 simple beauty that caused my mind to stray

Every day we have the chance to see an array of colours, that really do take the breath away. Yet, somehow we fail to let the quiet impressions of calm, take hold and keep us in a serene state for the rest of the day. Instead we are affected by the sometimes negative incidents that pop up to distract and cause us to stumble or hobble.

It is at such times that I am reminded how priceless good friends are. A kind word, a gentle nudge towards a happier experience. little steps can go a long way. Rain may fall, but the sunshine will always return. Always.

and so, the hours passed the mind tired of wandering down rocky pathways, and returned to wander blissfully towards the captivating land of dreams. The flowers still smiled and waved from their happy beds, only this time their cheerfulness stayed to lead the way. Sleep will come and tomorrow will be another day.

I loved the gummies, anyone care to translate… (when I figure out this bilingual keyboard I will know how to do a question mark )

Good morning, Bom Dia….

My table .. finally it is home, arrived last night. There was no sunlight this morning to show off its beauty, but hopefully you will get the idea. I am thrilled at the prospect of the many new memories that will be inspired from this slice of nature.

meat and spuds 7.20.18

Left overs for breakfast some like it hot.. which it was first time around… but this I had chilled. Nice way to start a day.

cartoon dog This is what happens when you start to doodle a mouse, but are not really into it. distraction – big time – I was using charcoal, the actual piece (still at the church) is different, I used scotch tape to remove shading in place. I sent it around to friends, but got no reaction to “what happened” .. ok that’s not true, because they all answered something completely different .. and not related to the picture I had included

Distraction? We have a tendency to read sometimes., actually we glance at it, and then respond. OK OK not all the time.. but often. I do it, and I know I’m not alone. The only reason I worked at not doing it, was because I had a husband who having been an editor, was patient and consistent at pointing out to me how often people in his “circle” didn’t answer a question, or completely misread his missive. He was especially hard on the journalist he worked with. We won’t go into when he was doing government contracts.

Why do we skip over material, I have discovered that I have begun to skip over pages in a book when it gets boring. Or, the writer is taking to long to get me to where I want to go. How unfocused is that?

mice See I do know what a mouse looks like… I was going to doodle another mouse. like duh! DISTRACTION..

I’m suffering from Not In My BackYard…..symptoms…. torn…. church members and friends are being so helpful. I’ve gotten some good ideas. There are actually videos on YouTube. !!!! I’m learning something new every day.
