Don’t be captured by the past; live in the now. All things, whether they were positive or negative, are things that have happened in your past. You have the whole world ahead of you to focus on, (2011.28)
We all live through rough moments when we wonder– what? why? how did this happen? Why me? These ahHA moments can be startling, revealing, and even painful. But. the truth and reality of it .. is that moment will pass.. in French there is an expression, “want to or not, this is what it is”… When you have these light bulb moments, thank “Universe/God” you’ve reached the turning point. Say thank you… and move on.
Feelings of appreciation become real when we express them.

Find the door .. open it, walk out or walk in, the world is yours to discover.

Till soon…… Oyashikiri

Your feelings of Appreciation become real when you express them. Express your feelings of appreciation by actually saying “Thank you” out loud or by doing something to show how you feel. Not only will the person you are thanking feel good, but you will too. Leading to better things in the future. (PL2014.11)
Life isn’t about finding yourself, Life is about creating yourself – George Bernard Shaw
Hello… remember me.. I am here even tho’ I’ve been boarded up … I can still see you as you pass me by… no longer interested in how I’m doing … I miss the sunny smiles, and the cheerful greetings of passersby … It isn’t my fault that fate happened, and I was made redundant.. .. I do smile as you walk by and hope you will feel the cheerful greeting I send you..
Everyone is in such a rush today, always in a hurry, or looking at some object in their hand… I once had flower beds under me, I could watch as each planting grew each year from budding babies to beautiful petals in such an array of delightful colours. Visitors would stop to admire the flowers and always there would be a smile my way .. Alas that was another day,
As we age, we do see and live through changes, Some changes are life changing, and there is no going back. The reality is.. there IS NO GOING BACK… we can revisit the place, but not the time.
Don’t be swayed by the past: It’s what you do from now on that counts. Your failures as well as your successes are now in the past. Always look toward the future and start with a fresh outlook. (PL2015.9)

Treat today a if it is your first time around. Just because you succeeded in the past it doesn’t guarantee that things will go as smoothly this time around. Every day, each moment, there is a new challenge to face. (PL2011.7)
Life is an adventure, live each moment as best you can, you can never redo it there is no rewind and replay, . PL Precept #1 Life is Art.

Don’t let circumstances sway your decision. It does not help to overthink things. Sometimes we just need to make up our minds and move forward. ( PL2022.6)

Don’t give up! Keep at it until you accomplish what you’ve started. The key to achieving something is to stick to it. If you are able to continue something from start to finish, you will be sure to accomplish it no matter how difficult the task is. (PL2014.5)
Update on the car. the smell of moth balls is overpowering. It means the car is used for essential travel only. I’m told that it will be a few more weeks before the smell will dissipate. Thanks for following up. You are all so appreciated. Enjoy the new month, the mosquitos here are still on full attack, although wearing the protective netting has made a difference. Not taking pictures tho’ exposes the hands for too long, and gloves are…well.. let’s say… for now I’ll pass. Have a good day everyone!
Set your goals a little higher each time. If you keep avoiding difficult tasks, the joys and experiences in your life will be shallow. Always challenge yourself by setting your goals a little higher each time. (PL2012.03)
When the road ahead seems to go on and on,,. and each step you take feels slow and tedious.. stop and rest… When we are tired and our mind is on overload… taking time to “regroup” is something you do for YOU. We all need ME time.
