initiative

somewhere in the USA

En vez de exigir, ofrezca Primero empliece usted, realizando las cosas que pueda hacer. Hagalo agilmente, comprendiendo el sentimiento de su interlocutor,

Offer your services instead of expecting from others. Take the iniitiative to do what you can to help others. Understand their needs and act swiftly.

Em vez de exigit, ofereca. tome a iniciativa de fazer o que the e possivel. Seja presetativo, correspondendo ao sentimento do proximo.

driving in the rain

Sometimes, driving in the rain is the best therapy for a busy mind…….. the wipers beat a steady rhythm as they travel from side to side
all around you is the soft tapping as the rain falls against the car.
It was wonderful… a natural healing lullaby
just the ambiance I needed.

When you think “I’ve got it” think again. It is easy to misinterpret the situation and jump to conclusion. always have a humble attitude and double check to make sure.

Love doesn’t drop on you unexpectedly; you have to give off signals, sort of like an amateur radio operator.

being thankful

Be thankful to your parents and to your ancestors

Be thankful to your parents and to your ancestors. You are here today because the “torch of life” has been continuously passed down. Always remember to be thankful.

Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens. Khalil Gibran

and, there I was

Enjoying the moment, delighting in the colours, and the texture of what i had found. Gosh.. wonder what this is? I am enjoying the moment while I wait.

Desfrute do processo da espera. As coisas se concretizam no tempo certo. faca o que deve ser feito agora, sem apressar o resultado.

9th. Abril

There is a door set in the wall – it is closed

on each side it is flanked by a window, shut tight

the moss on the cement blocks leading to the door,

suggests that the steps have been there for awhile

how many times have the window panes been kissed by the rain

just when did the house fall silent

are there finger prints on the windows, of children looking out

If I knock, will someone come to the door

The house is so small and still, I can see right through to the back door.

just waiting for some kind of response .. I feel the house shift

it has been awhile, but it can still hear echos of its former lives

it sits silently aware that for a brief moment in time, someone came to visit

standing proud, it feels good, once more it served a purpose and was rewarded with a moment of appreciation.

Old homes, buildings, fences, cars, trucks, they are reminders that life is fragile, and fleeting, now more than any other time, is not the time to squander the joys of living, the true meaning of friendships, and genuine caring and understanding of the people, communities around us.

It is important to say “thank you” Everything that appears in front of you is all material for you to improve yourself whether its food, people or things. Learn to accept everything, whether it is something you like or not.

Don’t give up!

a stop along the way

Don’t give up! Stick with it, as many times as it takes. Sometimes you want to just throw in the towel and say, “I give up” but that’s the time for you to dig deep and push through. Your sincere effort will invite a good outcome

The everyday things you do will show when it really counts. If you have a tendency to be careless about everyday matter, you cannot expect to perform well at crucial times.

“OK, let’s do this!”

choices – decisions

Rather than thinking “I Have to…” Think ” OK, Let’s do this!” When you procrastinate and put things off until later, you will make things harder than they need to be. Get up and do it now.
