PL Precept #20 Live maintaining equilibrium between mind and body
Happiness is getting one more project done. Needed to top up the inventory of cards that the church supplies a couple of “places” in the city. Having just moved, could I find some of my supplies.. of course not… Being a long time card maker and multi media expressionist, I have gotten used to using the quality of inks etc. from Art Supply stores. When I came to use inks.. guess what I couldn’t find. I decided to try a package of inks offered for children’s activities. Hello World! they worked just fine for the cards..
The other challenge I’ve been given is a new parking spot …Suffice to say the jury is still out if I can maneuver the car into the sardine space. There is a difference of 80$ a month. Psst .. send encouragement !!!!!

fyi ..Rockhound Gemboree was a total delight. I attended a lecture on the oldest dinosaur found in Alberta… saw some amazing displays and came home with a few treasures!

Today is day for some quiet reflection. I scrolled thru some of my pictures .. taking trips down memory lane. Found some doors I’d like to revisit.
Then I found the “thought for the day” that I’d like to use today…(is the Universe sending me a message here)

re: changing of the computers from laptop to desktop ..I am thrilled to be back using a desk top, I had to practice patience, and depend on the goodwill of friends who helped me out on this project. Life is what it is… I learned a long time ago…. even side by side looking out at the same view, no two people will ever have the same experience or see the same thing. But I learned in my lifetime, that in being true to myself, my journey is blessed… how about you?

Last night the TBX (Trow Boa Experience) played a debut performance of a full set of originals (Cuban vibe) from the extensive list of original music by musician and performer, Trow Boa. The Trow Boa personna emerged some 18 plus year ago in the online game, Second Life. The man himself Trow Boa is a long time musician in every day life, who has had 35 + years in the world of music. He plays professionally in and around his home State, and has appeared Nationally and Internationally .. not to mention the many students he has taught who have gone on to excel in their own right in the music industry.
The man has dedicated his passion for the saxophone into a way of expression that delights and pleases his audiences. He plays as regularly in SL as his time allows. It has been fun to watch his progress, and how he uses his love for the music he plays to expand his personal inventory of original music. He uses his gift to not only help others, but to entertain and share the music with audiences that appreciate not only live but original instrumentals.TBX is becoming an entity on its own. Audience come for the experience! And he, Trow Boa delivers!!
In today’s world of AI and computer generated this and that… there are so many ways to express one’s self.. however music is something that can transcend language and cultural differences. The fact that he started from the basics and has tirelessly continued to expand and hone his music skills speaks volumes for his dedication and love of his craft. He not only enjoys what he does his pleasure in sharing his music is catching, Audiences are drawn to the ambience he weaves with his unique style and presentation….
PL PRECEPT # 20 LIVE MAINTAINING EQUUILIBRIUM BETWEEN MIND AND MATTER
Open skies, road leading to somewhere… and I’m in heaven.
I feared of never being able to take to the road again. Getting a new computer has proved to be a challenge, an opportunity if you will to practice my patience. I had reached a stage of wanting to be a turtle so I could just slip back into my shell and stay there till another season appeared on the horizon. Certainly I love the new look, I can’t say enough times, how much I didn’t like the laptop. yes it worked just fine, and yes it was technically able to do all I wanted it to do. BUT I do not like how one has to use a laptop, I never took to the keyboard and for sure I just couldn’t operate that flat thing on the keyboard, instead of a mouse.
Yes I added a remote mouse, and I had to use a blue tooth keyboard with it.. but it (laptop) was not happy, it wanted me to unplug it, so it could function without being plugged in… bottom line. I got myself a desktop!
Now I am trying to set it up.. this is a trial effort… thank you for your patience.
