From my sister’s garden yesterday, Nice to see at this time of year, weather must be good where she is. I could send her a few pictures of the cold wet tree limbs and snow covered paths, hmm maybe I’ll wait for a sunny day. or a picture of the little scarf and hoodie I’m knitting for the black squirrel… nah will save that for when she sends me the beautiful photos of the hand stitched quilt she is putting together. =^_^=

Take a moment today for “silence”…the “rush” of the season, the constant bombardment of “noise” from all directions, good/bad… constant energy whirling through your personal “sphere” … … … ahhhhh take that deep breath… smile as you close your eyes and drink in a moment of “pure YOU”.. just for a second, close your eyes.. take a deep breath.. hold it… then smiling… slowly let it out… ahhhhh…. all done… smiles at you.. didn’t hurt now did it. How quickly things can change, with the rain and mild evening we had, I wonder what the scene will be when I arrive this morning. From -14 temperatures the other day, to in the 40’s today. The above pictures I took yesterday morning. The sugar coated trees and forest floor were magical.

Enjoy what happens. People who can enjoy anything happening to them receive wisdom for the next step. Try to work on things without being overly concerned.

It was COLD yesterday morning, the blue jays were puffed up as they patiently waited for me to throw down their morning treat of peanuts in a shell. They do tackle the whole corn kernels and kibbe/sunflower seeds, but its the peanuts that they favour, Enthusiastic diners! With a prowling “eat you up” bird in the neighbourhood, I stayed with them ,.. going back and forth to my car to the various feeders which gave them the time to have breakfast … The “merlin” (Falco columbarius) is a small species of falcon that preys on the smaller birds. Another reason that I sometimes sit with them while they dine.. (mornings when it is as cold as it was yesterday, there are/were no other “human” visitors to be seen or heard from. it was Blissful!

I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of the beauty that Nature provides us with in any season. Today there were many pictures of cardinals and blue jays against the snowy background that is now our backdrop till sometime in early next year. Local birders and nature photographers have been enjoying the flash of colour against the fresh fallen snow …

Seasons come and go, but always, you will be in the NOW. Make each moment count, enjoy today .. it won’t happen again.

Bom dia!

Nope, didn’t work, saying good morning in Brazilian Portuguese didn’t work, the snow is still happening outside my window,, NOTE. if you are out today the ice storm yesterday took down some of the weaker trees. P22 Mer Bleu has a tree preventing your exit from the parking area. I did report it yesterday morning, but the maintenance crew might not have gotten to it yet. BE CAREFUL unless you know that area of road if you back up to turn around, there is a steep incline on the right (Passenger’s side). You need to avoid the area and go back via the one way around the circle,. AND that is tricky if another car is coming in. Please take care.

Trees snap and break when we have heavy wet snow and ice pellets followed by more freezing rain, that is just what a Canadian winter can be like. We were lucky, power lines were not affected.

How are you doing Sunshine and balmy winds where you are? Life is good. Mother Nature has many forms of expression. Today is another day. Let go of yesterday and start fresh

It is interesting because it is difficult. In order to overcome difficulties in your life, you need to think hard and be creative. That is why life is always interesting.
