Life is never without changes

Some transitions are smoother than other.  When attempting to sort through the many potentials and possibilities, often more problems surface. There is a Chinese text (Tao) that speaks on how the benefits of a slow developing engagement usually produces a much more stable and satisfying union.  Same applies in Business relationships,  success comes if one holds firm to inner visions while adapting to established business policies.

Wise words spoken by a sage:  Refrain from hasty or passionate  action – lean instead towards the romantic cultivation of love.

Sometimes it is important to realize that we are in a slow, organic unfolding of events – there are no shortcut in the journey ahead.

Imperfections

Last night I had word from a dear and wonderful friend.  I knew her dog had recently been ill and passed on, I had dropped in to see her to offer a hug.  I was with her when she first  got Peppino, and knew how much that dog meant to her and how much he filled her life with love, She was not home when I arrived, so after leaving her a note I went on my way  When she wrote me last nite she told me  how Peppino had met his end.  Rat poison!  He was a small dog, the vet said there was enough in his system to have stopped a horse in his tracks.  I had been oblivious to that bit of information prior to her telling me this last night. What devastation and renewed sense of loss, this time with a searing pain that a life was taken in such a horrible way.

The world is not perfect, and neither are we.  The Universe works in strange ways.  Intellectually we can try to make sense and reason out of world events, but always when we view anything that is outside our own personal world, we are seeing things either through the eyes of a camera or hearing the views and thoughts of others.  If peace begins within, and that is really the only way it can happen, if we are at peace with our selves, then we radiate and share this peace with others.

Life on earth is fragile.  We are here to learn, to grow spiritually and to learn love for one another.  Tolerance and forgiveness are hard lessons. I ask today that we pray for those who are moving on into the Universe, mostly pray for their loved ones who suffer their loss.  Those who pass over into the “cosmic beyond” have been blessed with new beginnings.  No longer are they bound to mortal life.

Tarantula nebula

Astronomy, tarantula nebula 170000 light years away

This is Tarantula nebula, it is 170,000 light years away nestled within the Large Magellanic Cloud, which be seen in the Southern Sky just above the centre of this image there is a huge cluster of very hot stars called R136.  According to the post where I found this picture, these stars are among the massive known.  Impressive, at last I find such photos from the heavens fascinating, I marvel at all that is out there that I cannot see with my  naked eye. Astronomy has always been a subject that can keep me glued to the telly, especially when well done and documented..

Landscapes like this one are just a drive away, they might not fill me with unknown wonder, but they do draw and instill in me a quiet joyfulness that comes from the serene moment of being outdoors surrounded by nature.  We can not see the life that lives and moves under the water, but it is there. We may hear the birds and the activities of the birds and animals who live int he woodlands, but they are there.

This colourful border didn’t happen on its own, people were involved in the planning and shaping of the beautiful presentation, what we saw during our visit to the farm,(prev. blog) was the results of a lot of “love”.  Weeding is a task performed with a focused mind.   Take pleasure in the simple joys of today, step out side and listen to the world around you.  There is so much for us to observe, if only we open our “eyes” and hearts to the experience.

Bom dia, Good day to you all!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it is always such a wonderful experience to view life through the lenses of a camera. It is when I get home and actually see the “capture” that I am blown away by the moment shared in the cycle of the plant’s life.

Unfolding of Time

church,Romania village of Bezidu

In 1988 the village of Bezidu Nou in Romania  was flooded.  Only these two churches remained above the water,  This (above) was a picture of the churches in 1995

church Romania 2008

By   2008 only one remained, the land around, you can see has been dramatically changed.  In 2014 this is what a visitor to the site will find.

There is an expression that comes to mind, “never judge a book by its cover”.  People we meet, friends we already know, even family, how much do we really know about them.  We see only the “face” presented to us.  Even over time, we may see the gradual changes, but do we really go beyond what we see in that given moment of time.

Good relationships begin by the simple act of greeting one another.  I’ve had too many “how are you” spoken to me, without any real intent on the other person’ part to really hear my response.  It is a throw away question or remark.   As is, “I’m fine thank you, and you?”  Usually or often, the person has moved on before you are really finished with the formality of a greeting.

Let us try today to show respect and a genuine caring when we interact with others,  Smile from the heart, when you pass a stranger if your eyes meet, smile, nod it is a feel good feeling.   When driving on rural back roads often the residents will wave as we pass, we wave back, its friendly and a welcome exchange between strangers.  You find yourself smiling, it was a happy exchange …

Walls may crumble and disappear, but the happiness in your heart will always be there. Treasure and nurture it.

Have a super fantastic day my friends,  Know that you are in my prayers and that love is being sent your way today and always.   Blessings be.

May the Universe wrap you in a calm, serene embrace

May the faith and spirit within you

cast out the darkness, bathing you  in a light

that will fill you with eternal grace.

Transformations

Devils tower wyoming usa

Once a volcanic activity, this became a sacred place for the Indian Nation.  The old legend has it that the land rose to protect a helpless girl from a bear attack.  If you visit you can see Indian offerings scattered through the park. It is a peaceful and mystical place to visit. This is Devil’s Tower a National Monument in Wyoming, USA.  Transformations can happen over centuries, decades, or without our even really being aware of the change till we have an “oh my” moment.

Cornwall UK St. Nectan's Glen Waterfalls,

St. Nectan’s Glen, Tintagel,Cornwall, UK, one of Cornwall’s most sacred sites.  The waterfall is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest SSSI, it has been described as amongst the ten most important spiritual sites in the country.  It is a place of outstanding beauty

When we take ourselves out into the natural beauty of the world, we can feel the energy shift around us.  Surrounded by spellbinding landscapes that the Universe provides us, filled with the ambient sounds of life, we are refreshed.  Transformation begins when we ourselves, open our hearts to the wonders of LOVE. (God/TAO)

Good Morning everyone! May the blessings from high above, bring sunshine and happiness into your life today.

Happy 4th of July!

7483843a63d8809adc62c46fe63700eb

Good Morning Everyone!  and to all our American Friends, Happy Independence Day!

We have a Japanese term we use in the PL Church,  Musubi: Oneness, togetherness with others.   one of my goals, my ambitions, something I strive for every day.  Not just sometimes, I really believe and pray that I can attain this with every breath I take. I can’t live in tomorrow or next week, even next month. I live today, now, in this very moment.  and I do my best to live each moment with Makoto,(utmost sincerity)   I pray Shikiri: PL’s unique way of prayer, asking God’s blessing with a sincere promise to accomplish what I need/have to do    Once a moment is lived it cannot be taken back and relived.

As a child I recall my Mother telling me that one should never say something hurtful or negative about someone else because  once that word(s)  was/were  spoken  they could not be taken back. I’ve never gotten that.

Good relationships begin by greetings and acts of respect and courtesy.  Our action not only words, show how much we value others. Often actions speak louder than words.  We have much to be thankful in our lives, lets share a smile today, say hello to someone you haven’t seen or  heard from in awhile.  Pass the feel good feeling around.  It is free and it is yours to give.

Maintain a prayerful mind, put your heart (sincerity) into everything you do and think.  If you hold stress and worry in your mind, they will manifest themselves in your body as tension and pain. When you seek balance,  thankfulness and joy in your mind, your body will  radiate good  health (Tao)

Good Morning Everyone! Bom dia!

trails, Shenandoagh rocky trail via jdynbttn

Some  trails are rockier than others.  Some challenges are just not a simple fix.  Some challenges require a lot of faith.  If you are bent on achieving your goal, you have to continually put one foot in front of the other.  Sometimes along the way, you may have to stop, rest, regroup, but… then you begin again.  One foot in front of the  other.

Having the proper footwear will help greatly in the way you progress over the rocks and obstacles along the way. You faith in God, your inner strength, your ability to connect with the knowledge you’ve acquired to combat the various terrien you will find along your journey is important, paramount actually to your success.  There is no such thing as failure, only lessons learned along the way.  Success is a state of mind.  Makoto (sincerity) and dedication (sticking to your goal) will see you through the rough patches.
