Now is always the start of something new. Leave the past in the past. What is important is “what you are going to do now.” Using the present as a starting point, move forward on a path towards improvement and progress.

I dreamt I was sleeping……………….. I was

Almost the end of another \calendar year. Except for the fact that we will flip open a new calendar, and sign 20 instead of 19. We will still all be here, waking up, and starting a new day .. One more sleep my dears, and a new year will begin.

We can be pretty we can be merry – above all else, be safe and always remember, you are the most precious gift of all.

Do things in Moderation. Whenever you overdo something, you will lose balance in your life. Express yourself appropriately without being overly attached or detached.

FYI the Chinese New Year this coming lunar year will fall on January 25th. For many the close proximity of the two new year celebrations will mean a lot of activity and energy. The Chinese new year is focused very much on “family”. Leading up to this important time of year, we “clean” our “homes”, physically and mentally.
For those familiar with the I Ching. Hexagon 58 Tui the top three lines mirror the bottom ones. broken line, followed by two unbroken lines.
Joy and Harmony! No doubt. Confidence. No regrets. Advancement. Happiness! Faith in the temporary causes disillusionment. Attraction!
I ching = a philosophical prophecy this book published 1972 Reiss
Smile it is contagious!

Ola, bom dia. Old China is the latest piece I am working on. You have heard me say this before, as an artist of sorts, I never think about what it is I am gong to do, rather I am just “led”. By this I mean I come into my studio and see something that catches my interest in this case it was a blank canvas. I know I want to use certain colours, I don’t ask why, I just reach for them and let my desire to express take over.
When next I step back and look, I think… ok… what is this. In a distant far off memory, I think of China. A book cover or picture I saw of Old China. Thus the name, Old China. Of course it doesn’t end there, the paint as to dry, so between the layers I have been off doing whatever else has involved my attention The above is about 4,5 maybe 6 steps. I don’t think or plan, I just do.
I realized that much of how I live is like I paint, or express myself. I simply live the moment. I say simply, but it isn’t always simple for those around me. Do you ever consider how your actions can affect someone else. Seems I will have another lesson to put on my to learn page.
In PL we learn, PL Principle 21. I will not have complaints about others, matters, nor the weather. Rather I will always be creative and will look for shortcomings in my own thinking and actions.
During the night and some time in the early hours of the morning. I worked some more Old China. Here she is this morning.

Am I done, I don’t know. At the moment, she is happy … so I will leave her be and check on her later. Meanwhile everyone, have a grand day, the sun is bright in the sky here. Hope it shines on you too.

When the landscape beckons .. I listen … sometimes I don’t realize just exactly what I’ve captured till I get it home and see it on my screen. This is a progress (change) that i really enjoy. At one time I would see something, then have to wait till my roll of film was done, and then processed before I could see my “capture”
We are not always wanting the “changes” that develop around us, but the acceptance and the inevitability of change is something we cannot change. Change is constant. We can refuse to accept or use new technology, that is a choice we make. I can vividly recall, my horror at using a bank card. now.. well now the horror is when I can’t find my card.
Saying never, is a limitation we place on ourselves.
Friends we meet, near and far, the internet friends we have never met in person, some are as dear to us and sometimes, even more, than the world we walk in everyday.
So saying I would like to thank all the new readers and welcome you to the community that shares this “webspace” with me. To my blogger friends, your sharing is an inspiration, my world is enriched 1000 fold, having you in it. May the holiday season be a happy and joyous one for you. We are always a keystroke away. =^_^=

in many cases, science fiction of yesterday is a reality today. q

Live in the moment. Whether you are walking, having a conversation, or having a good time, it is important to be fully engaged. Remember to live in the “now”

I love the last few days. The weather is just cold enough to keep the sugar coating on the trees. Driving through wooded areas, the views were spectacular. Mother Nature is really a master at her craft.
You are the sunshine in life. Smile. It becomes you so.

It all begins with your determination. Things begin to happen the moment you decide “let’s do it” It all has to do with your attitude.
