flashback 2006

back yard a2006 The last few days, maybe even weeks, I have found myself thinking of a different time and what was. How a young garden, took shape, and grew till it no longer resembled what was.

Life mirrors nature, the link between the two has been established since way before I was born. I am only now pulling the fragments of the past into what I have been living and what is to come. I can feel the stirring of new beginnings, I know that I am already well into discovery mode.

Today, day 15 of the PL Calendar – Live with firm determination, thinking that “this will turn out for the best”

Everything in this world progresses an develops. Always be positive, knowing that everything will turn out for the best.

Yesterday I drove to Montreal, the day was bright, balmy and welcoming. Each mile was a new beginning. Even though I have travelled this route many times, it was like a first visit. The landscape along the way, simply would not be still. The shades of late autumn strutted their charms against the blankets of pristine snow. I felt their happy waves, and delighted in the variety of picture postcards they flashed my eager eyes as I drove by. Mother Nature, stayed with me all the way, the best tour guide ever.

2006a Life is a blessing, I am filled with appreciation and gratitude. Thank you all for sharing my world, Life is love, and love is YOU and the world we are in.

I was out of the city most of the week, travelling the roads…Gone are the fields of green, I was met with beautiful skies, that reflected the cooler temperatures, and the fields of white. Interesting how the sky actually looks bluer and the clouds whiter when below is a blanket of crystal white snow.

I love that the world is constantly providing us with an abundance of new vistas, opportunities and challenges. Letting go of what was, is an ongoing process of growth and new experiences.

Bom Dia, Saturday has rolled around again. I thought to share some of the colours I have captured in the last few weeks of roaming

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I couldn’t resist driving over to the other end of the parking lot to discover the myriad of colours I could see.

I am sure everyone was wondering what this elderly lady was doing behind the liquor store with her camera. But I was having fun, and isn’t that what life is all about.

The other day I was trying to explain that I am not a photographer, but an artist that uses her camera to capture textures and moods, that I can reuse, recycle into one of my expressions. Whatever right.. it is my fun, my hobby, and I love it. Just like I enjoyed trekking the harvested cranberry fields the other day in the rain.

Theses are trash bins I found in Chinatown the other day. My son and I had a philosophical conversation last night about life. It is always interesting to listen and learn from someone who has a different perspective on life. We take turns in being the grown up. LOL today’s PL Calendar, says it all.

Day 27 Put all your efforts into the NOW. You can only do your best right this moment, not in the past, not n the future, but now.

Thursday Doors

Happy Thursday everyone.. Bom dia.

Some doorways have a very open and spacious entrance. Others are more “this is what you get” and the tenants do their best to make it welcoming.

Then you leave the town and head out into the open country, the sights and sounds are very different. Yet always there are doors.

I got a tad turned around in my outing yesterday, found myself south when I should have been heading east. Ah who cared, I was out exploring and best of all, the sights of the fall colours was awesome. Meet my new friends…

He was a brilliant conversationalist, (both males) the blonde was less talkative. Sigh pleasures come from the most unexpected places. =^_^=

Remember, we are all responsible for the choices we make in life. Take time today to swing your happy into high gear. Happiness is a powerful positive energy.

PL Calendar day 25…. If you skimp on the paint, your painting will not turn out well. Live a fulfilled life every day by utilizing things, money, your knowledge or energy to their fullest.
