Good relationships begin by greeting each other. Acts of respect and courtesy are reflections of how much we value others. Make it a point to be the first to greet your family, people t work and around the neighborhood.

Work well with everyone regardless of their age or position. the opinions of those who are younger may lead to new solutions, and we can always learn from the accumulated experiences of our elders.

A walk in nature today, kept life in perspective. Fresh air was invigorating! See you all in dreamland. =^_^= Life is Good!!
Found this in my files this morning, and wanted to share it. I am reminded every day of how much I have to be thankful for. Yes in PL we have Ancestors Day service on t he 11th of every month, but I include gratitude and thanks in my everyday prayers for ALL the precious encounters I have had over the years.
What I was searching for in my “stash” of photos was a simple bowl of rice, I know I have one somewhere. But when I came across the above one on the importance of living in the moment, I decided this one would do.
The world is changing, and we are having to adapt. We are all capable of living with change, for our own piece of mind, we adapt. Transitions tho’ are not like going to a movie, where you pay your admittance, walk in, spend a couple of hours in someone else’s “world” and then walk back out and presto, we are in a different head space.
When on our own, we are still me, myself and I. Funny how that works, even if you are in a partnership, always you will have your own thoughts and your own feelings. “yes ! no one but you can make inner changes, our life begins and ends with me, myself and I”
Oyashikiri
I thank the “virtual media libraries ” for the quotes used today. I have gathered such “wisdoms” over the years.. Having used many of them when being active in Pinterest.
Yup, the cooler weather has arrived. This morning I was greeted with an angry burst of wind, it was not a gentle good morning, but an aggressive, swirling slap as I opened the door to let the dogs out. There was not doubt that it was wanting to be noticed and heard as it tore across the back yard and through the evergreens out back of the neighbours.
I smiled with a deep satisfaction that yesterday I had found a nice pair of high boots with warm lining for the days ahead. Good morning I called out smiling. “I’m ready for you!” I’ve been slowly brining out my warm vests, and jackets, they’ve been cleaned and ready for the coming months. When we are prepared and ready for expected weather changes, it is so much more fun.
Like the little squirrels and chipmunks that live in the area, I have been busy stocking my larder too. There is a nice feeling of “self satisfaction” knowing that should I want to.. I can just enjoy the comforts of my home, certainly now at my age, and stage in life (semi retired) I can function at a different pace. As you can see I’ve been pulled out my felting “stuff” and have started on a little “sampler” to get my “groove” back.
Always think that “everything will work out” When you allow yourself to be pessimistic your thoughts and actions become sluggish. Approach everything optimistically without hesitating.

The joy of expression is in the process. Of course results are important but let’s not lose sight of the true joy that can be found in the actual process. Face every task with wholehearted enthusiasm.
Harmony brings us Peace. Let’s strive to always maintain good relationships at home at work and in the community we live in.

I like being happy – what about you?
PL Precept # 14 World Peace is everything…
PL Precept # 15 All is mirror
The simplicity is clear – the truth revealed in these words applies universally to all mankind.
Another month coming to an end. Reminder to set your clocks back this evening .. yes.. its that time again. Tomorrow, November 1, the Sunday service will be the Day of Peace service – 10 a.m. Through t his service we pray for World Peace and dedicate ourselves to live as peaceful human beings. Love- respect- appreciation – gratitude begin with us, in our own lives.
Rather than thinking “I have to….” think “ok, Let’s do this!” When you procrastinate and put things off until later, you will make things harder than they need to be. Get up ad do it now.

Don’t hesitate to show kindness to others. Do you ever find yourself hesitating to show kindness to someone? It is when you put your thoughts into action that you can show others what is in your heart.

Another way to enjoy the fall colours, and the creativity that happens when the fall season begins. Today at church we were reminded that soon we will be turning back the clock! Yup, October 31. Where does the time go, it seems to be flying by!
Wishing you all a very happy and productive week.
Monday, October 19th.
Put your whole heart into everything and express your individuality. When you put your whole heart into expressing yourself, your true beauty will shine through.
Reality check…these days it is easy to be overwhelmed, by workload, political issues, every day there is more dissatisfaction being expressed, we are constantly being bombarded by “negativity/or challenging” input.
Time to step back, find a quiet place and allow your reality to be with God. Close your eyes, and feel waves of divine assurance flow over you, rest and relax in the comforting presence of God.
God’s spirit within you is healing and renewing.
PL Precept. # 11 Always be with God.

your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up quickly
Good Morning! It is after seven and it is dark outside. Groan. The shorter days have arrived. My internal clock still wants to wake up and get up and going much earlier. Thankfully my sleeping buddies are content to snuggle down and stay where it is nice and warm.
This picture is out of focus. I’m still getting used to my new camera… but what I was trying for.. you can see, are the drops.
will work on the macro -^_^=
The Virgo in me .. said… “you can’t use that, its out of focus” but the “lunar” part of me.. said “go for it” its the precious water droplets you want to show.. do it!” =^_^= the day was bright, the temperature was getting warmer, et voila… water droplets on some of the berries. The moment was perfect.. lol my shot wasn’t.
Lesson. Just because you want to do something, doesn’t mean you get to do it, or that if you do, it will come out the way you would like it to. That said, I had fun trying out my new camera, enjoyed the sun on my face, the slight breeze that rustled the leaves… AND… bonus, all kinds of birds, singing and dancing overhead as they explored from one branch to another.
I also met a fellow walker and her dog Scout. She also told me of the activities of the coyotes in the woods. A reminder that if there with the dogs, I will have to be vigilant and watchful.
A cheerful smile and expression makes everyone around you happy. When you do everything with a smile, not only you but the people around you will feel good. Always remember to put on a happy face.

It is important to be assertive, but maintaining harmony is just as important. Say what is on your mind clearly, but don’t be overly attached to your views. Respect the points of view of others and always seek to find a happy medium.
A drive to get petrol for my car, took me beyond where I “had” to go… down through county roads that led me past way too much colour and “wow” moments.
Is there such a thing as colour over-load. This year we have been simply inundated with day after day of Nature’s magical palette. Yes many of the trees are now bare.. Enough so that you can see their stark beauty as you walk the nature trail.
the birds that I saw flying from tree to tree, were plentiful, their songs were a constant melody of various notes as they went about their business.
If you are going to do it, do it joyfully. If you have to do something, choose to do it with joy and enthusiasm. By doing so, you will experience a deeper sense of beauty.
there is something special about photographs that recall a moment in time
pictures that take us back to another time and place. When I found these pictures yesterday, I wondered if I could ever find them again. Computers are amazing wonders. I don’t know how often I’ve changed computers since these were taken, I’ve lost count. Yet, here they were on my screen popping up from files that the software genie had compiled.
I no longer questions how these things happen, the Universe has a way of delivering these little “presents” when I least expect it. I say thank YOU and feel gratitude for the discovery.
With the Thanksgiving week-end having just passed (Canadian) I got to spend a lot of time with memories as i looked over all the pictures. The pictures dated back to the early 2000’s A lot has happened since then. Seeing my Mother, sisters, family pets, in-laws, gave me much time for reflection. Of course, constant in all of them was my husband, it was his love and dedication to our “lives” that enabled much of what i got to see and live during the years he was here on earth with us.
It was a reminder not to squander the time we have here on earth.. it is a beautiful environment, and meant to be enjoyed, Friends, family, people we meet all have a purpose…We are all ONE….
We are all represented in Nature, we can be different seasons, different species, but we are all here to co-exist. It is time to focus on World Peace.
When you think “I’ve got it” think again. It is easy to misinterpret the situation and jump to conclusions. Always have a humble attitude and double check to make sure.
