Today November 11 is also Remembrance Day in Canada, fitting that for us, in PL, it is Ancestors’ Day.
Just when I thought I had all the leaves… I noticed tonight when I let the dogs out.. that “oh NO! more leaves to fall”! How on earth did I not see them the other day… Goes to show me that I am not as observant as I think I am! This little corner got completely missed.
I must admit tho’ that I found the little vignette rather pretty. I even came back into the house to collect my camera.
my first night photos with my new Canon =^_^=
Always there is a positive to be found ! Note to self, bring in my garden “keepers” for the winter. =^_^=
Be thankful to your parents and to your Ancestors. You are here today because the “torch of life” has been continuously passed down. Always remember to be thankful.

Tomorrow, is the 11th of November, in PL we will be doing the Ancestors Day service at 10:a.m.
Looking for a covered bridge, found one.. just not in the state I expected to find it in. It is a bridge, and it is covered. =^_^=. We were over on the Quebec side today, no sitting in restaurants, had to order and take food out. We also discovered the deer hunting season has begun. (unhappy face)
Wandered off the road, following animal tracks, the vegetation shows where they cross into the woodlands. it was a beautiful day. I stood still hidden by the brush and enjoyed the quiet and the peacefulness of the landscape. What a joy and blessing to live in a country where I can still visit and enjoy such wonders.
Enjoy the moment while you wait. Things come about when they re meant to happen. Think o what you an do for the time being, and don’t rush the outcome.
Fall and winter is when we get to see just how many trees there are in the the forest If you happen by at just the right time, you get to see their shadows adding to the design of the textures on the ground.
We had a light dusting of the snow still on the ground from the snow that fell the other day. Today with the warmer weather, it could disappear, in my next shot you will see the wonderful earthy colours of the ground that was more open to the sunshine.

I love the fall. Simple statement that I make each year. The season never fails to thrill me with its bountiful warm rich colours.

Good relationships begin by greeting each other. Acts of respect and courtesy are reflections of how much we value others. Make it a point to be the first to greet your family, people t work and around the neighborhood.

Work well with everyone regardless of their age or position. the opinions of those who are younger may lead to new solutions, and we can always learn from the accumulated experiences of our elders.

A walk in nature today, kept life in perspective. Fresh air was invigorating! See you all in dreamland. =^_^= Life is Good!!
Found this in my files this morning, and wanted to share it. I am reminded every day of how much I have to be thankful for. Yes in PL we have Ancestors Day service on t he 11th of every month, but I include gratitude and thanks in my everyday prayers for ALL the precious encounters I have had over the years.
What I was searching for in my “stash” of photos was a simple bowl of rice, I know I have one somewhere. But when I came across the above one on the importance of living in the moment, I decided this one would do.
The world is changing, and we are having to adapt. We are all capable of living with change, for our own piece of mind, we adapt. Transitions tho’ are not like going to a movie, where you pay your admittance, walk in, spend a couple of hours in someone else’s “world” and then walk back out and presto, we are in a different head space.
When on our own, we are still me, myself and I. Funny how that works, even if you are in a partnership, always you will have your own thoughts and your own feelings. “yes ! no one but you can make inner changes, our life begins and ends with me, myself and I”

I thank the “virtual media libraries ” for the quotes used today. I have gathered such “wisdoms” over the years.. Having used many of them when being active in Pinterest.
Yup, the cooler weather has arrived. This morning I was greeted with an angry burst of wind, it was not a gentle good morning, but an aggressive, swirling slap as I opened the door to let the dogs out. There was not doubt that it was wanting to be noticed and heard as it tore across the back yard and through the evergreens out back of the neighbours.
I smiled with a deep satisfaction that yesterday I had found a nice pair of high boots with warm lining for the days ahead. Good morning I called out smiling. “I’m ready for you!” I’ve been slowly brining out my warm vests, and jackets, they’ve been cleaned and ready for the coming months. When we are prepared and ready for expected weather changes, it is so much more fun.
Like the little squirrels and chipmunks that live in the area, I have been busy stocking my larder too. There is a nice feeling of “self satisfaction” knowing that should I want to.. I can just enjoy the comforts of my home, certainly now at my age, and stage in life (semi retired) I can function at a different pace. As you can see I’ve been pulled out my felting “stuff” and have started on a little “sampler” to get my “groove” back.
Always think that “everything will work out” When you allow yourself to be pessimistic your thoughts and actions become sluggish. Approach everything optimistically without hesitating.

The joy of expression is in the process. Of course results are important but let’s not lose sight of the true joy that can be found in the actual process. Face every task with wholehearted enthusiasm.
Harmony brings us Peace. Let’s strive to always maintain good relationships at home at work and in the community we live in.

I like being happy – what about you?

The simplicity is clear – the truth revealed in these words applies universally to all mankind.
Another month coming to an end. Reminder to set your clocks back this evening .. yes.. its that time again. Tomorrow, November 1, the Sunday service will be the Day of Peace service – 10 a.m. Through t his service we pray for World Peace and dedicate ourselves to live as peaceful human beings. Love- respect- appreciation – gratitude begin with us, in our own lives.
Rather than thinking “I have to….” think “ok, Let’s do this!” When you procrastinate and put things off until later, you will make things harder than they need to be. Get up ad do it now.

Don’t hesitate to show kindness to others. Do you ever find yourself hesitating to show kindness to someone? It is when you put your thoughts into action that you can show others what is in your heart.
