enjoy the process
Good morning everyone, bom dia a todos..
Trying something new, with a new medium, I just wasn’t getting it. At least not with the results I wanted. Mostly I would get it out late in the evening ,just before going to bed, and have another go at it.
Last night, with time to spare, I organized the different medium I wanted, and used a different method of application. Voila the look I wanted, 1,2,3, the card was done.
PL Calendar day 7 – Don’t strain, don’t rush, and don’t be greedy
When you are doing something you may rush things to get good results, quickly . Instead relax and enjoy the process.

Thursday moment
A window that captures a moment in time
a moment long-lived, yet, now lost in time
Took a trip to Ireland, for this moment to happen
that was yesterday, this is today.
Today, when I saw the colours, I thought of Brazil
two places I have never been
Life is “funny” that way
in an instant we can travel the globe
never leaving home,
why, because home is where your heart is.
mine is alive and well, still beating strong,
the window is till in Ireland,
the moment has passed
but the thoughtful moment of inspiration,
a gift, long to be remembered

somewhere, sometime, a different scene played out around these doors, the pump was busy every now and then, and a traveller would stop and sit a spell
how you doing, nice day isn’t it,
going far, what else can I do for you?
now we drive up and wait in line for a self-serve pump
pay the pump with a plastic card, put the gas in ourselves,
and drive away, not a word is spoken. no one cares.

Here we go. Tim Horton’s in Ireland. No more can we say, “only in Canada” the world has changed so much over the years. What hasn’t changed is the bond of friendship that is ongoing, and is built and groomed with unconditional love. Acceptance, and respect.
Yesterday in PL, being the first of the month, we celebrated with the PL service of Peace. Every month, on the 1st day of the month. at 10 a.m. all over the world where there is a church, or a member of PL, time is made to pray for world peace. Through the service at the church we pray for World Peace and rededicate ourselves to live as a peaceful human being, in our own worlds, which includes, our home, school, work and communities.
When we love with makoto “sincerity” and dedication of purpose, we are blessed with love in our lives that continues to shine, forever and always. It is not measured in earthly ways, days, months, years, it is, simply life itself. Like breathing in and out. we don’t count how often we breathe in and out during our days and nights, we just Breathe …. Love should be in our action, words and hearts. Always.

Well well well
Well,well,well…
Bom dia, feliz sexta feira, happy Friday everyone.
What is with the well, well, well… my reaction to a news story this morning, where one police officer shot another officer. Well, well, well, really, I can’t go beyond my reaction. It is stunner, perhaps because in my past law enforcement was part of my life, I don’t know. I have been away from this field for too many year, to know what the climate is like these days. This is life isn’t it, we are calmly going about our daily business, when out of the blue, you hear something, or see something, that startles, or gives you cause for pause.
Life is happening all around us, some we hear about,, some we don’t, other times, it is right before us, and we never see it, or know that it is happening. But it is. A reminder that we don’t know what is around that corner, we know NOW. For myself, I know that I have to focus more on the now, be focused/aware, it is a fine art, and one that needs practicing every day.

Whether things turn out perfectly or not, the important thing is to take what you’ve learned and apply it the net time.

ps. my sister did the above artwork, I had not seen it before, it was one of her first attempts at working with a new medium. It is so colourful and joyful. It is giving me a smile, hope you catch it and pass it on. *wink.* Smile everyone, it is Friday.
Zen moments
Looking out at animals calmly enjoying their time in the pasture.
Their only thought is to BE.
Not feeling 100% I took to my bed early, I thought I would listen to my body, and simply lie down.
Life has a way of getting in the way.

Good morning everyone, bom dia..
I was out of the city most of the week, travelling the roads…Gone are the fields of green, I was met with beautiful skies, that reflected the cooler temperatures, and the fields of white. Interesting how the sky actually looks bluer and the clouds whiter when below is a blanket of crystal white snow.
I love that the world is constantly providing us with an abundance of new vistas, opportunities and challenges. Letting go of what was, is an ongoing process of growth and new experiences.
PL calendar day 24 – Listen and See with careful attention and accept each other
Focus your “eyes” and “ears” towards the expression of others without any pre conceived notions. Then you will be able to see their true intentions.
Life is what we make of it. The choices are always ours.

listening for signs, that on earth, one day

Till then, the haunting beauty will remind me of home

Falling out of bed
Good morning, bom dia a todos
Does anyone know where that expression comes from? Nope not me, it is just the phrase came to me, and won’t go away. I certainly didn’t fall out of bed this morning, but instead of my usual, I think today I may be more like garlic.
Maybe it will be a salad kind of day?
