Hearts and Flowers month. Will you or do you do anything special for the day? It seems that every year there is a lot of commercial activity, but I see less and less of the actual acknowledgement of the occasion in the “world” around me. In school, I remember having a dedicated activity where we made hand made valentines to take home for our parents. On the day itself, we could bring in cards and circulate them to our classmates. Somehow … I don’t think this happen anymore? Input anyone?
I’m not hearing so much about love these days, I am hearing about football. I understand the Eagles are going to soar! (the final game of the 2024 season will be played this Sunday )
Start by thinking “lets do it!” Once you decide to do something and put your whole heart into it, things will start moving forward. (PL2022.8)

I spent time with a small fierce falcon yesterday. He/she and I had a staring contest, he could have been as curious as I was. My cell phone capture the bird enough so a friend could identify it. I am using a picture found on the internet.
The Merlin is a small species of falcon from the Northern Hemisphere . Bird of Prey it is fast and goes after song birds and shorebirds. Falco columbarius

How many roles do you play/live in one day?
On antibiotics, I have given in to the need to R E S T … ok. what does that mean.. for me, it means, I take myself off to my room where it is quiet, I lie down and just let the weariness and the tired claim my body. I gave in and bought a Ninja and made myself a banana, fruit and yogurt smoothie. Yes, I did get a Starfit and after putting it together, filling it with the ingredients, I turned it on and nothing happened. Nothing
After several attempts, I simply left it on the counter and yesterday I got the Ninja, unpacked it, transferred the fruit etc. into the new Ninja, pushed down, and voila.. an ice cold smoothie. I’ll learn, buy what you want in the first place, I made a decision based on the cost.. and it was a total waste of time. I didn’t save money it cost me more time and money. Now I have a dud I have to repackage, and take back, waste more gas and time doing something I could have avoided, if I got what I wanted in the first place.
On the plus side, I am enjoying the freshly made, very cold, smoothie. Easy wash up too.

With the start of the new year, I was cleaning out files, and found this advert for when I was working with a product called Powertex, and giving demos .. so other “artists” could learn about the product. These were garden sculptures I had done over time to demonstrate its capabilities. The one piece lasted outside in our Canadian winters for over 10 years. (bottom right) In the end it was the center piece for climbing vines.
Change, the only constant in life.. is change.
