Amazing, its going to be a joy filled day

Goedendag, Buen dia, Bonjour everyone! Can you feel the energy and the positive feelings of this new day! So much to be thankful for. LOL I haven’t been up that long, so the happy thoughts and the positive energy is at its peak, raring to get going with the day. It is good to be able to express one’s thought with honesty, So what happens when we wake up with only part of the happy showing maybe the glow is somewhat dim. It does happen. Let us not delude ourselves that every day is a merry one.

This picture shows storms clouds passing over Cromwell, notice the different density and appearance of each one, some are rather menacing, daily challenges can (if seen) can appear to us this way. Clouds do come bringing whatever atmospheric debris they have collected, some will simply sail on by, other’s may linger, but the reality is once they’ve expressed what they needed to, they evaporate and go away.

We need only to batten down and weather the storm. During rain, thunder,lightening and the like, we calmly do just that, we adjust, change our plans, and reschedule events etc., So why is it that we don’t tackle the emotional side of life the same way. PL Precept #1 – Life is Art. When we live in the moment, accepting that it is now that counts, the time flows easily, for living our true feelings and expressing ourselves honestly brings a deep sense of self awareness. Because we focus on the moment and live it when it happens,

Meditation and prayer works for me, we all have a means or method that works for us. The trick is to practice our “personal philosophy” not just give it a place on a shelf, we have to put into practice what know works for us. Not just now and then, or when an emergency moment happens, we need to practice, and hone our spiritual connection daily till there is no doubt in our minds that it is there. Then we always know that we are never alone,the Universe is part of us, therefore a storm cloud is merely a moment in time, it will pass. Be Happy! Smile, feel the joy and double it. Pass it on!

Buenos dias – Good Morning!

Tranquil is the day when I know that you are with me,,, like the stillness of the water on a calm day, I feel at peace, although there is activity under and around me, I am able to sit quietly and enjoy whatever goodness you bring my way. Let me pray today for the blessings in my life, let me seek to further improve my life with you. For you are the air that I breathe, and the force within, that keeps me going….

Thank you for another beautiful day. May the love and light you grant me, unfold into all I meet and greet today, for they too share in this journey we are on… forever and always, amen.

Happy Happy Sunday everyone!

Isn’t this a beautiful still capture. At one time this table had to have been in an open space where a family could picnic, or hikers in the woods could stop and rest. Now it sits gathering moss and Mother Nature has come calling with lacy foliage to dress the weather worn wood. The young trees and shrubs are slowly making their way over, spreading out their arms in welcome. The woodland creatures now have a place to sit and sun, and in the seasons where nuts and pine cones dot the floor, they can picnic on the moss covered table. Invite their friends and have a gathering party. There will be places for the crows, red wings, and jays in the branches of the trees. What a cheerful playground this will be now that Nature has once again made it theirs.

It is Father’s Day here in Canada and the United States, this is where many would like to be enjoying Nature, just man and his rod. Men are not alone in their passion for fishing, but we seem to relate fishing to the men. This picture was pinned by A Bachelor & His Grill =^_^= . Would I like to put on a pair hip waders and be there, in a flash. I can hear the early morning sounds of a waking woodlands, smell the fresh morning air, feel the soft mist on my face. Sigh, yes, such a moment would be delicious. That said if one ole nasty mosquito came along it would break the spell. Oh dear, the city girl in me just popped out.

Morning smiles all around … feel good smile, share a laugh, be happy happy happy. To all father’s out there, Happy Father’s Day, and to all the women out there who have to be both parents, have double barreled hollering day of joy filled moments. Make the day count.

Buongiorno -Good day everyone!

Italy’s Amalfi coastal area, would I have loved to have been with the photographer who took this picture at that given moment. Italy for me is a far off country that I know very little of. A client went there on a biking tour came back with wonderful stories of the charm and many delights she encountered while touring there. At the time her pictures and recounting of the many little adventures they had enjoyed caught my fancy and I thought of ways my husband and I could get over there to hike or walk the hills and valleys. Hmmm nice dream. With time that thought and desire faded, and in its place some other “idea” took my fancy.

Venice, Italy, how weathered and worn these steps are how many people have taken these steps to go about their daily lives, if you live in this area, do you still hear the water lapping up on the steps, are has it just become white noise. For me, my imagination has me wondering what it must be like to walk down the stairs, sunshine and clear skies beckoning, to get on a water vehicle of sorts then glide off around the corner of the wall to explore and take in a world that will be brand new to me. LOL that is of course on a larger scale, the reality is I do this everyday, when I wake the world around me has kept on evolving, so each and every day, without fail, is a brand new day. Each and every day without fail, I can walk outside, get in my car, or walk, bike, to discover brand new delights, make new friends, the possibilities are endless.

I live minutes from Canada’s historical parliament buildings, where tourists come for world wide to enjoy every year. Here we have the changing of the guards daily during the summer where the sound of the pipes and the marching soldiers never fail to draw a crowd. Then there is the famous Byward market where people from all walks of life gather to be part of “the scene”.. I can walk/skate the Rideau Canal, the bike trail along the Rideau River is within minutes of leaving my home, this is where you’ll find the Queens swans in the summer months. If I go in another direction I’m on the banks of the Ottawa River and a parkway that leads to more parks and to the stables of the RCMP horses (Royal Canadian Mounted Police). I happen to live in a major city, but I know that everyone has their own wonderlands to discover right close to home. In the city our idea of a “Sunday drive” is to drive out to the country, to capture the tranquility of a lake or parts of the rivers that are not surrounded by built up urban living.

Today my thoughts drifted to Italy, it was nice to journey through the various moments that were provided by the artists that use a camera for their expressions and art. This last picture is of Senigallie, Italy. Each photographer saw a part of Italy and captured it in frame, so that to the viewer, it gave a glimpse of where they were at that moment in time. Too bad we can’t do that with the different hardships we live through. Unfortunately they are usually scars in our emotional scrapbooks. However like these pictures, our heartfelt scars that we so painfully earned from whatever experience or challenge we dealt with, are beautiful in their own way, like the mist in the above pictures. Each one makes us unique. When we walk with God/TAO, each lesson we learn along the way, gives us genuine inner strength to begin each day knowing we are the masters of our own destiny. Living and Life, are part of the journey, getting there, being present for every moment of your waking hours, that is a gift. Share your gifts, the bounty returned will be a hundredfold.

Wat een prachtige dag! Good Sunday Morning =^_^=

Wouldn’t it be nice if our lives could be all planned out in neat little rows, That we could organize, sow and cultivate, knowing that our wants and desires would line up just the way we want them to. The above picture is lovely, it took hours of work, and many people working together to produce this “garden” of colour. Realize that all of their hard work, planning and efforts came to fruition, because they had a clear vision of what their goal was, & what they wanted to achieve The unspoken here, but the obvious, and this dear reader is what we need to remember in life.. without the input and unseen help and support of Mother Nature the outcome could have been much different. We take for granted the air we breathe, the rain that washes over and cleans our planet. Nature is a force that is a constant in our lives – sometimes we rejoice in the sunshine, – we love it and want it all the time, but without the rain our crops would fail, rivers and lakes would run dry, When you cry, you wash away the dust in your eyes, the sadness in your heart grows lighter. Appreciate all of life.

This tranquil setting is in Den Bosch,Nederlands. I invite you to spend a few minutes with me in silent meditation Take a nice easy breath in, ahhh … hold it for just a few seconds, feel it open your lungs, and now… slowly let it out… let your gaze relax, follow the ripples as they slowly meander through our view and into the beyond. See how the stillness in the water captures the images that are beyond our immediate sight….. just because we don’t see them, doesn’t mean they are not there……………………. enjoy this brand new day……………………make it count ……………..I so appreciate and love sharing these moments with you…………………..peace and prosperity be with you…..………….Oyashikiri

Peace on Earth

Simplicity………. the serenity and calm the photographer of this picture was able to capture , look at how the composition leads us over the water, into a covered shelter, then out again up into the pristine mountains. This morning I imagined the freshness of the air, the cool cleansing water on my feet as I start into the water. Look how clear the water is, it is so pristine. As the light and shadows play across the face of the water, the patterns change and create the sensation of motion and movement over the stillness. Light and shadows have been used to add depth and character to the “still” picture.

Love is like this moment, as humans we often see only the surface, and not the total complete and complex intricacies/features that come together to bring the emotion of love into our lives. Love is about opening our eyes and hearts to the uniqueness in all around us, not just wanting what we know.

Today’s world is overflowing with problems, troubles, strife, and unrest. let’s pray for more understanding of differences, and for the happiness and health of others whether we know them or not. Love is such a powerful emotion/feeling. Pure love does not discriminate, it initiates. Love is not about the flesh it is about the state of being human, and very spiritual.

Believe – walk in faith – you are never on your own

Love is about trust – trust is rooted in honesty – honesty grows from Love. allow love to show in your world today, share a smile, extend a hand, reach out…… you can’t go wrong when you share a HUG …. have a good day everyone! Oyashikiri

This is my fantasy – that like a dog, I could just shake off all the negatives, worries and distractions with one good body shake.
Oh, it would feel soooo good.
Let everything fly out and away from me…
Then start fresh… not everything will cut loose, but everything
will displace and what settles back down can be viewed with
a new perspective.

Hey, we all have our dreams, ideas and creative hiccups. When I watch our dogs come out of the water and give themselves a good shake, it always looks like it such a feel good thing to do. I thought of doing a head stand, seeing if that would dislodge and toss some of my gray matter around, but I wasn’t successful at getting into that position, never mind staying in it long enough to enjoy the moment.

I am an artist who loves to day dream and consider possibilities. I can get very excited finding the strangest things along the roadway or down a long forgotten trail or path. I grew up at a time where it was encouraged that we give our imaginations full range. Given a pencil and paper with a box full of jumbled thread, discarded what nots and old catalogues, WOW I’d be lost in my own world for hours.

Today you go into a store and there is sticker, cut out or stamp for almost everything. How hand made or scrap cards today? Ok not the time to go into my tirade on now vs. the good “old” days. The dog shaking off the water that has bogged him/her down makes me smile. The fur/hair needs to be wrung out, simple, shake and shake again. It’s done. AND its off we go to play again.

Nature is wonderful isn’t it. Simplicity is soooo Positive.

Signs – inspiration is everywhere

While in Japan, I was struck in all directions by sights and sounds that were new to me. I loved the different signs and huge billboards that we passed while enroute to our final destination. I’m funny that way, I enjoy visual and tactile sensory delights. I can sit for hours watching a Chinese New Year extravaganza on the telly, not understand a word, but be totally captivated by the colours and the sounds of singing, laughter & happiness that come to my ears. This is a sign that intrigued me while I strolled about taking pictures. I had fun thinking of what it could be saying to me.

The scene behind it was one of mystery and natural beauty. Fantasy? Medieval? Science Fiction? it caught my imagination.

In my mind’s eye I could see the vegetation that was so dense and lush, sheltering small animals and perhaps little fairy communities. I was tempted to climb over the fence to explore However, I was not dressed for exploring in thick overgrown vegetation and I had no one nearby that I could ask. It was evening, and the sun was going down, so I listened to my “inner voice” and was content with knowing I had taken a picture of this inspiring view. Today I remember to ask Rev. Eugene for a translation of the sign -” Danger! Do not play here” was what the pretty sign said. It was a warning sign.

The other sign that I liked was No Parking on the Street.

Such an everyday sign. but written in Japanese characters, and to my foreign eyes, it was a pretty picture.

All this to say -enjoy new discoveries, listen to your inner voice, dare to explore, the path will open up when we let go and let “God” Always carry a good dose of common sense in your traveling bag. Never leave home without it. Divine Nature/God is ALWAYS with us. “Even if you don’t have what you need, you will find a way.” Think creatively….. remember Life is ART………………
