void or

gimme bling

A black void. As an artist, I had a moment the other day, where I wanted to express that very moment, not think about anything but saying, Blah. Snap, and so what. Followed by many exclamation marks.

My eyes searched my workroom… till they fell on a big bottle of black glue. Ah Ha! I took an old canvas and began to just vent with the glue on the canvas. It was black and shiny that I dug out a bottle of cut glass pieces I had for dear knows what reason… and some gold cording. Then gave way to.. come what may.

Voila… t’is a black void. my sometime co-pilot, when she saw it, said it looked like “inside a sparkling cave filled with shiny somethings. enchanting” =^_^= I have been blessed with wonderful kind friends.

In the sunlight or under a light, it is true it has bling. Bling that winks and shines in a very cheerful way. This is an example of, starting out with a blank – need to just vent/express…. letting go, and then seeing the results.

PL Calendar day 9 (2019) It’s interesting because it’s different

Even if someone totally disagrees with you or does things differently, you may learn something from them. Avoid getting trapped in the mindset, “This is the way it has to be” and free your mind to consider other possibilities.

PL Calendar day 6 (2019)

Past, present or future, always remember to be sincere and honest

At any time, the place where you are standing at that moment is the stage upon which you must express yourself in relation to your position or status.

In any form of expression, there are often many components that come together to get a desired effect, or to form the base for which you are about to elaborate on. Even then, the presentation can take so many forms depending on the direction you are going at that point in time.

That is what makes life so darn interesting. That is what makes getting up each morning so fun, yes fun. Means everyday brings new experiences, new endings, beginnings, with each step we take, we mature, we grow. Our ability to navigate the world around us gets that much experiences.

Hey yesterday, I actually went through a car wash on my own, I know. Most of you have done it a zillion times. It was new for me. I was so chuffed. =^_^=

Waiting for 2018 to end. What a year it has been, Major changes, a much loved story book romance, came to an end. Lost in thought last night, I wandered through the open doors of the memory vault. Each new day, brings me further away, from the day last May when I was left behind at the runway, my time not yet come to fly.

What will the new year bring, one will never know till the time comes. Meanwhile, the clock ticks a steady beat..counting down to what…

Chinese New Year is at the start of February this year. We will enter the year of the Pig. Tonight in my part of the world, we will slide into 2019, a little over twelve hours from now. If I didn’t know the time would it make a difference. Not really, my life would still be in change mode, and after a good sleep, I will wake to begin yet another day of adventure and exploration.

Happy 25th (terca-feira)to all

Andre 12.25a Life is lived in segments. Remember when the phone was thought to be the greatest of inventions. A voice from across the miles, would bring cheer, maybe only once a year. At Xmas, everyone would gather around the phone, and wait eagerly to speak to the relative, or friend who lived far away. It brought everyone close.

What time was spent with someone else was precious, not taken for granted, it was appreciated and remembered well into the years to come.

When a stranger lands in your space – There is nowhere to escape

The eyes reflect the night, you look for life inside, but find there is no sight

Others wander the night, some with seeing eyes, but not the stranger in your space

what brought her here, will tomorrow a tear be shed, or will we both stare into the night

waiting for the starship to return for her. Of my world she cannot be, for in my world, there is room for only me I have eyes that see and a heart that breaks, vacant eyes belong in another time and space.

xmas granddaughters

Good morning everyone, bom dia a todos..

Trying something new, with a new medium, I just wasn’t getting it. At least not with the results I wanted. Mostly I would get it out late in the evening ,just before going to bed, and have another go at it.

Last night, with time to spare, I organized the different medium I wanted, and used a different method of application. Voila the look I wanted, 1,2,3, the card was done.

PL Calendar day 7 – Don’t strain, don’t rush, and don’t be greedy

When you are doing something you may rush things to get good results, quickly . Instead relax and enjoy the process.

Bom dia, um maravilhosa dia para todos noa – A happy start to the week.

This is me thinking…. yeah really thinking dec.3 18

When I am working on project, and in full gear, this is what one of my work spaces looks like. I used to ask myself how I could really find anything in what my husband used to shudder at, (to him it was just a mess) However I think my best when I see my stuff that I have out. My eyes take everything in and the mind processes it. My mind is my very own personal computer. It has its own way of computing.

I am happy to say, that over the years, I have grown to love my mind, and accept with great appreciation that it is mine. As an artist, we learn that when we create, it is our own expression, no one elses, ours. Certainly if we have to share our environment, we have to learn to define our own space. All that said, when I walked into my office this morning, I sighed with relief that my thinking space was waiting and ready for me.

When I do clear things up, it feels barren the comfort of being “in progress” is itching to get back in.

Remember we are all different. We all have our own way of doing things. My Mother’s one constant in life (to me anyway) was,” if people or someone can’t accept you for who you are, then they aren’t keepers”.

Here we go. Tim Horton’s in Ireland. No more can we say, “only in Canada” the world has changed so much over the years. What hasn’t changed is the bond of friendship that is ongoing, and is built and groomed with unconditional love. Acceptance, and respect.

Yesterday in PL, being the first of the month, we celebrated with the PL service of Peace. Every month, on the 1st day of the month. at 10 a.m. all over the world where there is a church, or a member of PL, time is made to pray for world peace. Through the service at the church we pray for World Peace and rededicate ourselves to live as a peaceful human being, in our own worlds, which includes, our home, school, work and communities.

When we love with makoto “sincerity” and dedication of purpose, we are blessed with love in our lives that continues to shine, forever and always. It is not measured in earthly ways, days, months, years, it is, simply life itself. Like breathing in and out. we don’t count how often we breathe in and out during our days and nights, we just Breathe …. Love should be in our action, words and hearts. Always.
